PERSONALITY:
Cole is a free spirit and, according to his mother at least, possesses a heart of gold. He would rather defuse a situation with witty banter or a good joke than fight and always seeks to help a woman, as chauvanistic as that makes him seem sometimes. If the fight is unavoidable then Cole won't shy from the fight. Determined, brave, and caring, Cole never seemed to fit into the career as a small time criminal and smuggler that he had been forced into.
BIOGRAPHY:
Cole was born on Corellia in the city of Coronet, the capital of the planet. It was never an easy light for the Dasha family though. His mother loved her only child dearly but the passing of her husband a few years after Cole was born was hard for her to handle. She cared for him until he was about fifteen before she had a mental break. The last coherent words Cole had ever heard her say were "You have a heart of gold, son. You're destined for great things" Withing hours of saying that she had to be committed to a mental insitute as the stress of her life had simply been too much.
So Cole found himself alone at fifteen, essentially an orphan but with bills to pay. It wasn't long until he fell in with a street gang out of neccesity. Though he tried to avoid the violence and felonies he still committed his fair share of crimes. By the time he was eighteen he had been arrested by CSF more than a dozen times and sent to juvenile hall twice, though he had managed to escape both times. At eighteen his juvenile record was sealed and he was given the chance to start fresh. In one of the worst choicecs of his life....he decided to go back to the gangs. Soon he had bought a ship with credits he had won, stolen, saved, and conned his way into an was smuggling goods off planets. He just had two rules, no drugs and no slaves.
It was a rush those years as a smuggler, cheap women, expensive liquor and not a care in the world, except for when he would get in to the occasional scrap with rival smugglers....or of course the law. But it wasn't fated to last
Four years later, twenty two and by now a fairly well known smuggler that Cole discovered his latent abilities with the Force through a blind old man on the streets of Coronet. The old man had seized Cole's hand as he walked by and whispered to him
"The Force is strong with you young one. Keep it secret lest the dark side take you"
While Cole hadn't believed the man at first, the next five years of smuggling proved to Cole that the man may have been right. They weren't large things, but minor details, like his piloting skills or fast reflexes, or the ease with which he could charm people. Looking back he realized that it was what had kept him alive all this time. He couldn't waste a gift like that by being selfish. Cole decided that enough was enough, he was tired of smuggling and being a two bit criminal. He wanted to make a difference in the world....he wanted to find and joing the Jedi.
