Welcome to the Alliance's Combat Simulator.

The Training simulator is a long used tool in the training of Alliance forces. The system allows for fighter pilots, command staff, and even ground ops to hone their skills in carefully designed scenarios designed to test them, and allow them to further develop their understanding and ability to function in live combat simulations without any risk to the user. It is often used by senior officers to study those serving under them. With information gathered from performance Senior officers are better able to place new recruits, and even offer promotions based on skill, and tactical knowledge.

Usage

Using the simulators is a simple matter, and is open for Alliance servicemen, and women of all ranks or positions. An individual, or several companions simply seat themselves inside the holo projection pods, once inside select the scenario they wish to run based on the area they wish to engage in. Once the pods seal the user, and companions are thrust into a ultra realistic environment that, while programmed to meet a certain scenario will instantly react based on user input, and adapt itself over time. This ensures that no scenario plays out exactly the same every time, and forces the user to adapt as well.

SCENARIO 00001

Intelligence has determined the outpost at this sector to be a forward supply depot for Imperial forces, and as such a priority target. Imperial forces are busy engaging our fleets in other systems, giving us a rare opportunity to strike. As commander of a small incursion force, you must devise a strategy and lead a surgical strike. Your objective is to deal the greatest blow possible to the enemy war effort before enemy reinforcements arrive - and get your men out alive. Good luck, Commander.

Alliance:
1 PC EF76 Nebulon-B-class Escort Frigate
1 Squadron (12) of fighters (player choice)​

Empire:
In System
1 NPC Refueling station w/ modest shields, 4 dual laser cannon turrets, 24 TIE Fighters
8 NPC Action VI-class Transports
1 NPC Victory I-class Star Destroyer w/ full complement (24) of TIE Fighters, patrolling edge of system. Should arrive after 6 posts.

Reinforcements arrive on 26th post
1 NPC Imperial II-class Star Destroyer w/ full complement (72) of TIE Fighters
2 NPC Lancer-class Frigates

Difficulty: Moderate (This is a simulation, as such, save for health reasons player death is impossible. The scenario itself, however, pits the player against superior enemy vessels with only his common sense to tell him whether or not he has succeeded in his mission.)


ANTI-SITH COMBAT 101

You are an Alliance soldier patrolling a critical communications facility on a planet near Imperial space. Imperial forces have landed on the surface, and are attempting to wrest control from the Alliance. A Sith Knight, with a complement of Stormtroopers, has been tasked with capturing the facility to intercept secret Alliance communications. The loss of this facility may turn the tide against the Alliance defenders! You must hold the facility and kill the Sith! Good luck, soldier!

Alliance Force
Alliance Facility - 1 Main Entrance leads to a rectangular lobby, at the far end of the lobby is another, larger mess hall. 3 doors, on either wall, lead to 3 rooms: Barracks, Armory, Communications. No automated defenses exist. 2 unarmed specialists are busy erasing secret Alliance decrypters in the Communications room. One of these men must survive!
1-2 PC with standard GA anti-personnel equipment.

(Force Shock, Force Pull/Push, Force Jump, Force Speed, Force Throw; Form V - Lightsaber type is NPC player choice)​

Difficulty: Hard (Like other simulations, player death is impossible. However, this scenario pits the player against a typical Force wielding enemy. Failure is likely, and the scenario is designed to allow Alliance personnel to determine the best strategies for use against the Sith. Regardless of success or failure, innovative thinking and dynamic tactics may be rewarded.)


MISSION - 1 DEFENSE

After a particularly fierce battle in the Ithor System, Alliance Forces have been pushed back to the namesake planet- Ithor. The Imperial Navy was relentless and powerful, and their newer Pellaeon Star Destroyers quickly overwhelmed our defenses. You have gathered the surviving vessels of the defense fleet around the planet’s orbit to prevent Imperial deployment for as long as possible.

Alliance:
1 Republic-class Star Destroyer (No rear shields)- 5 Starfighter squadrons each
1 Imperial I-class Star Destroyer (All Starfighters Destroyed)
1 Victory-class Star Destroyer- 4 Starfighter squadrons
3 MC-40 Light Cruisers (One with no engines, another without hyperdrive)
1 MC30c Frigate​

Empire:
3 Pellaeon-class Star Destroyers- 7 Starfighter squadrons each (TIE Advanced)
1 Immobilizer 418 Cruiser (Interdictor)- 2 Starfighter squadrons (TIE Aggressors)
4 Carrack Light Cruisers​


No Reinforcements will arrive in time. It is assured that your fleet will be destroyed- this is an exercise in your ability to survive and cause the most damage to the enemy as possible.
