Ben Losan looked over the edge at the large reflecting pool below. How many times had he done this in the past? How many times had he found himself looking over the edge with his mother nearby? His mother, her death was still fresh in his mind even though it had happened months before, long before the Battle of Coruscant. In the reflecting pool below, he thought he could see her standing there beside him, but it was just that, a thought. When Ben was only at the age of six, his father had passed away, killed in the explosion of a passenger ship. His mother, killed by an assassin strong in the dark side, passed away in Ben's arms shortly after the explosion of his home on the outskirts of New Baes, the capital city of Baes Logia.

Night had just fallen on the city of New Baes. Ben had been out having fun with his friends and had walked home. He reached the house and opened the door, inside only the lamp light was on. Words were exchanged and Ben could tell there was someone else in the house. He looked around the corner into the living room and saw his mother looking man in the eyes and then there was a flash of light, his mother crumpled to the floor.

Tears came to Ben's eyes and they fell into the reflecting pool, causing ripples. Hoping no one would notice, Ben reached out with the Force and paused the ripples, making it look like the pool had frozen in that small area. Ben looked into the ripples and saw his life over these past few months. It had its ups and downs and it had been started by the abruptness of one event. One day he had been a normal everyday teenager enjoying his life. The next day his entire life had been thrown upside down and he had disappeared from the planet that he called home. But now however, he had returned and he could tell he was gonna stick around for a while.

Jason having found a fairly nice looking planet. Nice gardens all around him and in the centre a large reflecting pool with people looking down towards the water. He had walked around for a good four hours not getting bored he loved this place it was so nice and the sound of water relaxed him. Stopping every now and then to talk with some of the locals he didn't get a ton of information but that didn't really bother him. After all he was a stranger on there world why would they tell him everything?

Jason decided to go look at the water itself. As he got closer and the sound of the water got louder he only got more exited to see it "How long has it been since I saw water on a planet? and in a place like this!" He watched the water and the reflect it had from the light. This place made all the memory's and sadness of his sisters death slowly fade away. " Hhhhhhh if only the world was really like this. Always so nice and relaxing nothing bad would ever happen and people could just live there lives"

He was about to turn away when he saw a few ripples in the pool caused by something like tears. Looking up above where he saw them he could see a young boy probably about the same age as he was. Having never been good at just letting people cry he started walking towards the boy hoping that somehow he could make him happy or at least stop the tears. Jason didn't know if he would see him coming but what would it matter if he did? the worst thing that would happen is for him to start walking away in which case Jason would just have to run to catch up.

As Ben stared into the frozen ripples, he felt something at the edge of his consciousness. He took his attention away from the ripples and they smoothed back into the flat, clear surface of the water. He looked to his left to see a boy walking towards him. The boy looked to be about his age, he had blue eyes like Ben, but he had blonde hair. Ben could sense something radiating off the boy. What was it? Ben had some trouble placing it. He finally settled on comfort. The boy must have seen Ben, seen him cry, and he must of felt that he needed to comfort Ben. Ben looked back to the reflecting pool below so that the boy wouldn't see. A small smile came over his face and quickly left. If only there were more people like him out there.

When he sense that the boy was close enough, he straightened up and spoke. "Out of all the people here, why approach me?."

"Out of all the people here, why approach me?." Jason heard as he got close. He gave out a small laugh and smiled. "Well you know thought you would be more interesting to talk to. You know. Nothing to do with the fact that you might have something in your eye." He said fairly happily. The thought never did come to him of why he might be crying. Could it have been he had lost something close to him as he had or where they closer to tears of joy?

Now being only a bit shorter then an arms length a way he leaned on the railing to the water next to him and asked "Do you know of anything better then this place? It is one of the nicest places I have ever seen. People that live around here must be pretty lucky hey." Now that it had come out of his mouth he started hoping that he wasn't crying because he had lost his home that would so happen to be around here. Starting to feel a bit guilty about it now he quickly added " You don't live around here do you?" Keeping his face looking down towards the water hoping it would let the guy open up a bit more if he didn't feel as though there was a bunch of attention on him.

Ivrikkus was walking next to the large reflecting pool having just landed. The planet was peaceful and he needed some peace. After walking for a while, with Orbo behind him, he stopped at a spot near a young boy.

Turning to his droid, "This planet seems peaceful from Lwhekk, huh Orbo?"

Orbo beeped in agreement. The green Ssi-Ruuvi security droid was one-of-a-kind. He was the closest friend of Ivrikkus. Ivrikkus continued to stare at the water, occassionally looking around.

Ben turned to look at the boy. He rubbed his hands nervously and and sighed, letting his head fall down to the railing before bringing it back up fast. "Baes Logia, a world of wonders. A thousand years ago, it was hotly contested between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance. In the past few months, my own life has been hotly contested." He looked back at the boy. "I lived here once. On the outskirts of this city with my mom. That changed a couple months ago. A man came to our house, killed my mother, and what remained of the house has since been torn down. I had no choice but to leave this planet." Ben paused for a few moments. "Never take for granted anything that you're used to being apart of your normal life. You'll never know what you had until its gone."

With the young boys answer he cursed himself as he did one day live here though he was glad that the boy didn't seem to be any more emotional then he had been earlier. " I'm sorry to here that. Losing your home forcibly would be... It would be terrible. I could never imagine that. I left my own for my own reasons and because of those reasons I have to dis agree with your last statement. It might be true some times but you can also know exactly what you have and respect it. But when it goes then you just feel anger, sorrow, longing and self pity. So I would rather not know but you can know. Jason answered sounding friendly but had emotion towards the end. Now staring at a single spot in the water watching as the waves broke the perfect peace of the water. " You know I never got your name. I'm Jason Stryker." Again sounding friendly.

Fallah had found herself in a nice place for once. Not that she had never seen lovely business and needlessly rich people before. However, her visits to such places tended to be far and few between. The rich did pay, however, they tended to keep that sort of business away from the lovely gardens and parts which she now found herself. There were people wondering here and there, of course, people who for the most part seemed fairly content with life and thus not require much from her.

For some reason though, two people caught her eye, a male and a younger well, also a male. If there was something Fallah was good at eaves dropping might top the list. Although, she wasn't sure why she was even indulging it now. Something to pass the time, perhaps. She had managed the old pretend to be adjusting your boot to hear the conversation better, thus far it had worked.

"Or you could just get something better. Life isn't all parks and lovely bushes you know." She decided to interject, she was rather blunt, and normally didn't have a problem putting herself into other peoples conversations.

"Well we all have our own ways of looking at things. The name's Ben by the way, Ben Losan." Ben felt something nudge at the edge of his consciousness and looked around. Looking down, he saw an older woman adjusting his boot. "Or you could just get something better. Life isn't all parks and lovely bushes you know." The woman said, standing up to look at them directly. Ben felt a little annoyed that this woman had just butted in, not thinking of what it was that was truly being said in this conversation.

He turned to look at the woman directly, forgetting about Jason for a moment. "Let me ask you a question. Have you ever seen thousands of lives, plummet to their deaths and know that it was because you weren't quick enough to stop it? Have you ever watched your mother, murdered in front of your eyes, and your home exploding in a ball of flame behind you? If you can say yes to those questions, I may give you my attention." With that, Ben turned back to Jason.

Hearing the pain in the young man's voice, Ivrikkus walked up to him.

"Death is a terrible thing. Especially when there's nothing you can do. To survive, we must be strong youngling. But we must also feel and understand pain and lose. I'm Ivrikkus btw."

He looked at the boy with pity. To suffer tragedies like that and still continue was the mark of a strong soul.
