Commander Agano Murross
NAME: Agano Murross
Homeworld: Pantolomin
FACTION: Corellia Systems
RANK: Communications Officer of Corellia System's Waystation 22
SPECIES: Human
AGE: 38
GENDER: Male
FORCE SENSITIVE: No

APPEARANCE:

'Your typical human', 'an unsurprising man', and 'Put together... last minute.' Agano seems to bring a below par; not for want of trying. Of an average build, his frame is maintain by a regular non-intensive training regime. He has dark brown eyes and tends to only be seen in his Corellia Systems' uniform, varying in terms of components.

ATTRIBUTES:

STRENGTH: 5/10 His strength is maintained, it is rarely used to its fullest extent.
DEXTERITY: 6/10 - More dexterous than he is strong, and certainly capable of using a standard issue blaster pistol, and has the hand-eye co-ordination of a Senior Administrator.
CONSTITUTION: 4/10 - Not going to be knocked over by a stiff breeze, Agano is not built.
INTELLIGENCE: 7/10 - An intelligent man, that usually uses his bright mind to work out of tight spots he usually puts himself in.
WISDOM: 6/10 - Far from world wise, Agano has learned how to stay alive out on the edge of known space.
CHARISMA: 5/10 - Odd, friendly and harmless. These are words that have been considered when thinking of Mr Murross. Long stints in solitude and a wariness of others seems to balance out his natural charisma.

PERSONALITY:
He will, of course, fight when absolutely needed. He has been known to have a blaster in his hand when the moment came, the fact he managed to crawl through the ventilation system to get behind the space pirates raiding party was not without some bravery. His insistence to have them put down their weapons shows a modicum of honour. Shame this was not Agano Murross.

Commander Murross is a hard worker with very little credit, but wants an ounce of recognition to be content. That being said, he still has not risen to the moment, for the moments drift by as he is thinking the situation through his disorganised mind. He is certainly friendly to those he calls friends, but has been known to enjoy any authority given to him.

BIOGRAPHY:

Born on Pantolomin, Agano Murross was raised on one of the many islands, surrounded by the galaxy's richest. His father worked hard on a fishing vessel, his mother worked harder on a Casino Submarine, life was lonely and he rapidly understood to keep to himself. He was left with a sporting pistol, the family's pet Tooka, and plenty of time on tropical shores. His father went down with his ship, and his mother? Lets say he went down with something else... and then the Tooka died.

This left the newly minted orphan Agano with naught but a pay out from a Pantolomin charity and a sports blaster. Once the gun was sold, he managed to hitch a ride on an outbound freighter and made his way further to the edge of known space. He learned things from anyone that would teach him, and on some flights that was all the entertainment people could expect to have.

So with a new found knowledge base in the basics of civil engineering, mechanical repairs, first aid and a fear of all things very strange; Murross applied for an Apprenticeship at Corellia Systems. Eventually this developed into a Cadet program and he became Midshipman Agano Murross, in the company's haulage division. This saw him slowly, take every promotion he could get, until the dizzying heights had him crash and burn at a complex command assignment. That all changed until, 'the incident'.

'The Incident' consisted of an incorrect calculation, an incompetent ship's captain and a father with enough power to see that the embarrassment was not dragged into the public eye. Agano was serving as an executive officer on a long-haul mass conveyor. On approach to docking at a logistics hub. The devastation of the Shu-Torun stockpile satellite was not caused by the published astronomical event, but by the impact of a mass conveyor to the central node; the are of the station that contained the power core. It was the swift, and effective orders of the mass conveyor's executive officer that saw thirty percent of the crew surviving the event. The Captain, included in this number, gave testimony against this declaration. The Captain's father used his influence to corroborate these findings, while the actions of Commander Murross was recorded and confirmed by some of the survivors, it was seen that the Commander may be at fault or the incident.

With this mark on his record it was thought that the Commander who had saves scores of lives was going to be thrown out in dishonour. But the sadistic mind of the Captain's father had him sent to a far out space station. To serve as its Communication Officer, this avoided an official demotion. But the space station was a point in which ships could dock and data of the surrounding area could be gathered. The stations crew are an assortment of dysfunctional droids, and the forgotten of Corellia Systems.

ABILITIES:

Personable leadership style:- Being known as an average commander lead Agano to develop the ability to remember every person under his command, by name and with a small piece of information about them. This has begun to extend to those that are effected by his position on Way-station 22.

Any port in a storm:- Frontier Space is certainly no picnic on the beach. With many pirate raids and astronomical events, Agano has a keen ability to find a piece of cover in a firefight, and knows exactly how to lock down and secure rooms, ships and even space stations.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

A life in the shipping lanes:- Commander Murross has spent a vast majority of his life serving aboard Corellian ships, initially as part of his Apprenticeship, Agano has learned a mix of mechanics, leadership and navigation skills.

Anti-piracy training:- After graduating the Cadet program, Agano took every opportunity to train himself and his crews in repelling pirate attacks, and hunting down these threats when they were fleeing.

Endearing coward:- All the training, and experience the Commander has had does not steel his nerves. He has developed skills, and has a natural disposition to avoiding conflict. Some people have thought that his keenness to train is driven by this fear.

You'll need to have the station put in a write-up before you can use it. Also, with a Level 1, I think he could be a senior officer in the station, but I think commander of the station (if I'm interpreting Captain correctly) would need to be Level 2.

BOOP

We finally got the approval for the stations and I have demoted him to XO of the station.

We have an NPC set up as the Captain.

While Loco has demonstrated interest in Waystation 22, it has not been approved yet.

EDIT: After consideration, XO may still be a bit high. How about a staff officer in charge of a section of the station? Allows the character to build up a reputation before going further. You'll also want to submit this station for an organization submission, as it enters into the realm of personal assets.
