Location: High orbit over Belsavis, Senex-Juvex, Mid Rim

"Doctor Morata. Emergency repairs are complete. The Resolute Defiance is now operating at eighty seven percent efficiency. It does not look like anybody is aware of our presence and has responded. Some freighters on the far side of the planet took off within an hour of our arrival." The deep vocabulator of the droid said beside the Arkanian woman. The Crusader II class corvette had been stolen during the Battle of Ryloth by the efforts of the Morata Corp duo. The corvette had traded blows with another capital ship and held its own against other threats while the BX commando droid the blaster toting medical professional boarded and hijacked the ship. It had gone according to plan and was done efficiently by N4-X4's calculations.

The droid provided an assessment of the ship and the work needed to get it fully operational. Three of the five port dual light laser cannons were not functioning and a forth turret on the starboard side. One of the ventral turbolasers was working but was in a fixed port facing position until they had the parts needed to repair it. The same could be said for the deflector shields which were only working at thirty percent efficiency at this point.

After they had arrived in the Belsavis system N4-X4 took the Hex, which had been connected by airlock until that point, and found a parking spot for it on Belsavis for a moderate parking fee. The droid would come back for the blastboat later but for now the Morata Corp image would be better off if they traveled without the additional ship. At least that was the case by the droid's estimations. "We can set course for a more appropriate shipyard when you are ready, Doctor Morata."

Ilana had forgone the Captain's chair for now; she was far more content to be amongst the crew, familiarizing herself with them. Having overthrown their commander, she earned some of their trust, but for some of them, she felt, it was a little more difficult. She would have to prove herself worthy... and bring them out of the tide of fear they were kept in. With time.

Always with time.

And speaking of more time and earning trust in a more appropriate shipyard...

"Bal'Demnic," was her soft reply. Gazing down at the surface, she knew she had a lot of paperwork to fill out in regards to acquisition... but they didn't need to know precisely where she changed tags of friendly or foe. "A neutral place for a new start, and adequate repairs. Keeping as low a profile as possible. Does such a notion agree with your calculations?" she spoke to Naxa, amber eyes flicking to the droid's. Though her mind was made, she treated him as an equal.

As promised.

After saying such, she ascended to the Captain's chair, her features remote.
"Once adequate repairs are made and tags are changed, we will return."

Despite her minimal words, she was already planning ahead. Costs. What this corvette would do as an asset for MC. How to maximize her own newly-added crew's efficiency with minimal intervention.

All of it in due time.

"Bal'demnic..." he repeated and turned his head slightly. "I have partial records of the planet and the system it resides in. It will be a suitable place so long as there are available facilities on the planet if time is of the essence." Given time he was sure that they would be fine.

"Roger roger" The droid affirmed. The ship quickly found itself going through the familiar blue tunnel of hyperspace. N4-X4 continued to move around the ship during the transition and keep an eye on the ship's activity. So far nobody had made a move to mutiny from what remained of the Sith forces. The droid calculated they were likely to disappoint the Doctor in either performance or loyalty. Afterall, they had done a poor job to begin with when he and the Doctor had stormed the Crusader corvette to begin with. "After returning to Belsavis, I would advise looking into updating our employee registry." He said at one point.

She nodded once at the droid's assessment, rising. "I know," she answered calmly, sighing. "Organics are so unreliable... all fueled with ambition useless and frivolous." She sighed, rubbing the bridge of her nose between two fingers. "But the question is securing loyalty. I cannot afford to simply replace them overnight. But should they prove a problem, there will be consequences."

The droid understood what the Doctor said as her preferring to be the one to execute judgement on the disloyal. Therefore, N4-X4 would make an effort to try and use non-lethal force should there be any mutinieers. But none presented themselves and the trip to Bal'demnic was an uneventful one.

---

Bal'demnic, appeared like a blue and green marble with large storm masses along its surface in different places. Thankfully, the area of the planet which had the larger population density was not currently besieged by any storms as far as the droid's scans could tell.

The droid felt a spall ping in the back of its databanks. There was a file that seemed to have finished repairing in the background. N4-X4 read the information , causing one of his photorecptors to flicker and all his other functions to cease for a moment. Viewing a flash of combat and then returning to normal.

Looking around, the droid typed in some new commands on the scanning terminal and pointed it towards the coast and set to begin following a calculation it was making. Letting the scans continue, he would go to his arkanian client. "Doctor Morata. Do you have a moment?"

So far, the crew proved loyal, and exemplary in their treatment of the ship and of their new management. Trust was beginning to build. Perhaps these were little more than purchased slaves, left to man these ships with an Eternal captain. Not that it mattered.

At the deeper-toned vocabulator, Ilana turned to face Naxa calmly, nodding once.

"Of course. What do you need?"

Not rude, not even snappy, but calm, collected. The sight of Bal'demnic was no longer a bittersweet one, but one she still held in distaste. Perhaps the times would change.

The droid would approach his client a bit closer. N4-X4 spoke plainly as always. "During ship repairs, I would like to request permission to scout an area on Bal'demnic." He knew the woman would have questions even if she didn't say them out loud. But she also may have need of the droid's protection given the circumstances.

"I have some fragmented files. I think they could be record of this planet's history. There was a battle here long ago and there could still be cached assets or a possibly covert and fortified position." The droid would continue. "There is no guarantee what state it is in but a thurough scan of the coastline may return possible results." An accurate scan could take hours or even days from a fully opperational ship in orbit. But they were damaged and needing time getting repairs.

There would be a few moments for them to talk but eventually one of the bridge crew would notice a capital ship moving around from out of the shadow of the planet. This was to be expected. A damaged corvette ship would have probably drawn some notice in the wake of the battle of Ryloth. It read as a member of the Bal'demnic planetary defense force. It didn't seem like the capital ship had taken any interest in them yet. There were other corellian transports and large craft moving through the system.
"It appears to be a quasar cruiser." The droid commented. They were still on approach towards the planet.

She stared over at the droid a moment longer, then nodded once. "Once the ship is repaired and operational, we will scan the coastlines. Meanwhile, however, remaining in orbit will attract attention; we must land if we are to maintain integrity."

She turned away to face the quasar cruiser, amber eyes calm.
"Continue to descend down to the planet's surface; they will no doubt hail us with any concerns, but considering this is a damaged ship I highly doubt we're considered a threat," she spoke up calmly, glancing at one of the men manning the controls.

"We will be calm, thorough, and if there are any questions we will answer them." With that, she glanced back to the planet's surface... and smiled slightly.

"Perhaps we may find some answers on the surface itself. What do you think, Naxa? Up for a hike?"

"Roger roger." The droid concurred with the woman's directives in its slightly deeper BX vocabulated voice after hearing the Doctor's directives. "I believe this vessel has a compliment of walkers in storage. I can verify that they will be ready for us upon landing." The droid suggested the walkers despite there being also speeder bikes. It would be better over some difficult terrain.

Regardless of the woman's orders, N4-X4 would ready for their arrival. The BX unit would make sure that he had downloaded the flight records of the ships navicomputer.
"Once I decrypte the data I can find out where this ship came from." But it could be possible it would lead to nothing. It was worth the effort in the droid's analysis.

She nodded once to Naxa's statements, glancing back at the droid. "As for staff and members on board, we will allow them a brief holiday. After all, they have worked hard on behalf of MC; it would only be fair to allow those who wish to remain in good graces a chance for some fresh air."

A message buzzed on her comm, and she nodded once at the message, then pocketed it. "Land on the designated pad," she instructed the pilot there,
"we have company expecting us. Once we land, inform crew that there is a day holiday; attend to duties first, and then report back when summoned."

"Yes ma'am."

Glancing back to the droid as landing sequence was enabled, amber eyes were cool, calm.
"Let us find those walkers, shall we? It is at least worth the diversion while we wait."

The droid didn't think it needed to nod or give any further affirmation. It was understood. The primary job of the droid was to be a bodyguard for the doctor. It was a effective to have a logical boss in mind since now they were both going to check out this lead. The droid made sure to lock down the ship and put in backdoor subroutines along with a secret remote connection to the corvette's pilot controls after the other bridge crew had left.

After the pilot she had given an order to came back, they would head to get to the bipedal vehicles in the cargo hold. The ship was open to the landing pad by the time they arrived. Outside, the cool though refreshing air felt like nothing against the equally cool scatterweave covered body.
"You will get soaked in the event of rainfall." The walker did not provide cover from the elements so perhaps the Doctor had not taken that into account. That was understandable since the commando droid was the one with knowledge on military vehicle specifications. Making sure that its client was squared away, N4-X4 hopped aboard its own walker. "I will take point."
