EQUIPMENT

DESCRIPTION
Designed by the Corellian Engineering Corporation, the Consular has stood the test of time, going through refits and upgrades to keep the engines, shields up to speed with modern technology. Created for the purpose of long-distance transportation, initially for the purposes of diplomatic efforts, the ships got their name under the Republic, where they were the common transport of choice for Senators and Diplomats.

Boasting high-end cabins for their VIP charges, as well as comprehensive meeting and dining halls, the vessel is effective - when kept in its orginal configuration - a mobile embassy.

Whilst, at the cost of some of its engine power, the ships can be outfitted with weapons, it is very uncommon to see these ships armed. Instead, they rely on powerful shields, and strong engines, to get away from trouble. They boast large panels on the side of the ships, which normally are used to display the sigil of the organisation they represent.

LEGALITY
These vessels are legal, however, they are often owned by Governments - meaning flying one liveried up with a Government logo is sure to get you locked up.

INTENT
To bring a neat ship from the films over to the forum, mostly for use in the large number of political groups we have.

RESTRICTIONS
None.
