The Free Worlds Alliance had deployed a large number of forces to go after the rogue 5th fleet of the New Republic, but that didn't mean that the war against the Sith Empire had to pause. The recent success of the Independent Systems Consortium significantly disrupted the imperial war machine creating another opening for further damage to be piled on.
New Alderaan found itself in a precarious situation by not only being isolated from nominal imperial space but also being close neighbors with two different enemies. It was almost then inevitable that a strike would come in the form of a joint invasion between the FWA and ISC, the latter making up for the former naval disparity.
Lieutenant Surzi Voarvi watched over her platoon, barking out final orders as the transports sealed themselves up for their deadly advance down to the Sith world. Despite a significant imperial fleet in orbit, she didn't expect it would take long for their combined effort to seize control of the skies and begin bombardment of the potent shipyards likely still producing the next generation of imperial might and respective defenses.
While that occurred, ground forces would land en mass and move in to topple the local imperial government and seize control of its armories. The first wave of transports began deploying troops around positions in the capital of New Aldera with various tasks in hand. Lt Surzi's forces were to advance toward the governor's mansion and seize control of it, hoping to sweep any resistance caught up in the fray. Or at least that was the plan anyhow.

Death Disabled - Open to 2v2 with preference to equal levels but flexible if sufficient interest. 48 hrs posting deadline @Mr. Teatime will DM some background fleet aspects at the beginning/end but the main fight will be ground-based.
