Members of the Imperial Armed Forces, Imperial Department for Military Research and the honoured and esteemed Inquisition.

Following significant investigations into seditious activities within the Core Planet of Coruscant Undercity levels, a purge has been called to put an end to the treasonous aspirations of several major hive-gangers. Furthermore, the IDMR has requested attachment for each operation unit participating in the purge so as to test out the functionality on several chemical-based weapons and anti-infantry vehicles.

Due to the sensitive nature of the tests, a member of the Imperial Inquisition is requested to participate, and ensure the ongoing loyalty of the troops escorting the IDMR personnel. You are required to respond with the utmost urgency if you can fill any of the following roles: Stormtrooper Commander, Inquisition Overseer, IDMR Agent.

Addendum - The weapons being tested are all in their beta phase and have not been cleared for mass use. Leaking information pertaining to the nature and/or effect of the weapons will be deemed a capital offence.

Esteemed Inquisitor, I am deeply honored by your desire to assist in this matter, and to bring about a just deserved end to the seditious traitors in the lower levels. To assist you in this act I have assigned Admiral Sevchenko to your detail, who will be backed by elements of the Sith Order (who I have asked the Imperial Resources Office to support us in finding the correct allocation, I for one am not in a position to assign a member of the Sith Order to you).

Your mission is to lead the occupation of the area round the main elevators and landing tunnels to 1313, and stage a full blown invasion of the area if needed. Controlling the elevators gives us a stranglehold over the level, and we can expect high resistance. Admiral, I understand that this operation field is outside what you are used to, and therefore I have sent a detachment of the 8th Coruscanti to ensure your personal safety.

Grand Inquisitor, with respect, I have no reason to believe you will require such aid.

Furthermore, Admiral, I have taken the liberty of assigning the detachment use of the as of yet untested NOSOI - Series Chemical Grenade. These weapons have not been cleared for public use, and I would like the effectiveness, and indeed the effects, of the weapons turned over to the IDMR as soon as possible.

This mission is one that is close to my heart, and aligned rather directly to my interests, and as such I shall be overseeing it directly. Making use of a probe droid, I shall be observing your progress throughout.

Your target is an old Imperial Prison complex, recently fallen into the hands of a Hutt warlord. I need you to take control of the facilities central air filtration hub, and flood the place with the phials contained within the drone, which will be unlocked when you arrive at the hub.

All further information is classified until your reach the hub.

OOC - Please note that the NOSOI Grenades are not even a drafted tech item, and are not to be used outside of this thread. They are a story device, and are a biochemical weapon (the effectiveness of which is left up to you in these threads). For each thread, I shall occasionally post some sort of NPC action, which will impact the thread in some way.

Depending on the outcome of the thread, the NOSIO experiment could have undesired consequences which will be explored in future threads.

In the second mission, the probe will be holding a canister of enhanced chemical pheromones, essential - mind control gas. The effects of the gas will be shown in the thread, and once again - this tech is not to be used outside of this thread, in any way. I’ll ask @Malon here to ensure that adequate banhammering is dolled out should this be abused, and I repeat, the tech in these threads is for story purposes only.

Until the technology is seen in threads, it is safe to assume that your characters know nothing about the 'additional motives' behind these missions, and once the effects of the weapons are seen, I encourage you to act in however you see fit, for ze denk lore.
