Hera Albion looked unlike herself in this ecumenopolis, she felt unlike herself too. Her red hair dye had been removed, revealing her hair's pale heritage, her Jedi robes stowed far away on another world, and her lightsaber hidden in the traveler's backpack she carried on her shoulders. In her roughshod clothes, medium armor-still blaster scarred from the attack on Yavin- and hooded cloak, she looked like any other refugee lost in the city world. However, Hera knew herself to be no refugee. Shrugging the strap of her backpack, she rearranged the dark goggles on her eyes and continued walking.

The Wooden LegHouse, a small, rough club on level 1275, was Hera's target today. The lower someone went on Coruscant, the less likely they were to encounter the local authorities. Even if Jedi were looked favorably upon on this world, the actions she took today she preferred weren't tied to her order. Looking to the back of the club, a large booth with a sign above it, crudely marked 'Braa Satrpe!' drew her attention. Good to know the bar owner could reserve tables when necessary.

Walking over, she sat down and took off her hood, allowing her white Arkanian hair to flow freely. In the moment, she looked like any other mercenary, and that was the point. Five others were called upon to join Hera at this table, with little more than the promise of riches should they succeed in a little bit of thievery. It was a job, and with her method of contact, she knew anyone who would take her offer up was either too trusting, too desperate, or a little too crazy. Exactly the kind of people Hera wanted.

The message she had sent was simple, "Mercenaries, I am Mira, and I offer you a job. Come to the bar the Wooden LegHouse on Coruscant, level 1275. For your success, I will make you rich."

The Wooden LegHouse... Wooden LegHouse... Wooden... WHERE THE FUCK IS THIS CLUB?! Cha hated Coruscant with a passion. He always got lost here, no matter which floor it was on, or whether it was Upper Coruscant or Lower Coruscant, he still managed to get lost. He was so sick of it, he was almost ready to give up. But he was offered a job, and that job intrigued him. Eventually he found The Wooden LegHouse by some miracle and a half. He sighed with relief and opened the door.

The only one that looked out of place was the Arkanian. Cha knew it had to be her. Mira? Cha couldn't exactly remember what she called herself when he got her invitation. He noticed the barkeep looking at him with a stern look. Cha shrugged and walked over to the woman he presumed to be Mira. He pulled out a wooden chair across for Mira and sat down with a huff. The chair creaked so loudly that it almost made Cha blush with embarrassment. He knows he's heavy, but at least it's all muscle. "This better be bloody worth it. It took me four fucking hours to find this damn place." He glared at Mira as he waited for the others to arrive. @Akyto @Arcangel @Zay @Black Noise

His very first mission as a free man. The young Zeltron had jumped on the next shuttle to Coruscant once he had received that cryptic message from Mira. There wasn't much of a job description, but it did mention something about making him rich, and rich is exactly what he wanted to be. Tristan would be lying if he said he wasn't nervous. He passed a hand in his rugged hair before collecting himself for a moment. " it's just another day at work, keep your cool old pal." He whispered to himself. His eyes widened once he stepped out of the shuttle, all those lights, the skyscrapers, the diversity of races, he had to take everything in. Truth be told, when your entire existence consisted of living in the slums of Nal Hutta, it wasn't very hard to be impressed.

Tristan made his way into the streets of Coruscant, appreciating the night life it had to offer. Plenty of street kiosks, mostly food of all sorts and exotic pets for sell. The fragrances from all the food came to tickle his nostrils. The Zeltron removed his hood as he passed two magnificent Twi'lek's. They had seemed to notice him as well as one of them grabbed his hand and invited him to follow her. Tristan offered her a playful smirk before pulling her in towards him. He placed a thumb on her chin, slowly lifting it. " I'm flattered, truly I am. But I have somewhere to be. In fact..." He fiddled with his fingers in his back pocket before handing her a piece of paper with the name MIRA and WOODEN LEGHOUSE level 1275 on it. " Any idea where I can find it, lovely?" The young lady gave him a frustrated look before pointing to a bar behind Tristan. The young man slowly brought her hand to his lips and planted a soft kiss before parting ways.

Once inside, Tristan handed the same paper to the bartender who in return, pointed towards a booth. The Zeltron instantly noticed the massive fur ball sitting on a chair way too small for his colossal stature. It was only when Tristan got closer, that he noticed the woman. It was probably Mira, it had to be. The young man pulled a chair of his own and dropped himself in it with a sigh. He raised both his eyebrows at them in a sign of greeting, surely not everyone had arrived just yet. @Arcangel @Zay @Black Noise @Resonance

Yvon's departure from Begali had been draining, both emotionally and financially. A slicer could make good money pretty much anywhere in the galaxy, but Yvon was looking for a good score. Something big. Something that would net them enough credits to purchase a starship was ideal... Yvon was beginning to hate taking public shuttles around the galaxy.

Almost as much as they hated the crowded streets of Coruscant.

Go to Coruscant they said. It'll be fun they said. It's the center of the galaxy they said. Everyone has to go once.

Well fuck everyone.

Yvon made their way through the crowds, decked out in their alter identity NoVa's anonyminity enhancing armor, hands gripped on their arms, arms held tightly against their side as they desperately tried to avoid bumping into anyone. The streets were practically teaming with strangers and every brush and bump was an offense to their person.

It was with a sigh of relief as Yvon's nalphone pinged that the meeting location was nearby. Their eyes scanned the neon signage of the various bars and storefronts that lined the street of this particular lower level until they finally settled on the place. The Wooden LegHouse. Terrible name really, Yvon wondered what data short brained person had come up with it as they pushed their way into the club and out of the street.

Perhaps Yvon had been crazy to jump on this job, it had seemed too good to be true. Which usually meant that it was a scam. Yvon's eyes scanned the bar, settling on a motley crew of misfits. They approached, standing their for a moment to appraise the trio of individuals waiting. A large wookiee, a Zeltron, and an Echan-no, four fingers-Arkanian.

"You must be Mira." Yvon buzzed in electronically scrambled tones as they took a seat at the bar.

Aeron Mathis hated Coruscant. Beings packed every pore of the planet. Skyscrapers reached into the heavens and blotted the light from the sky. The destitute begged for chits while the wealthy looked down on them from their heavenly perches and the scum that covered those left behind fed on what Coruscant Security refused to protect. His burning disdain for this place combusted when he got the message.

The Hunter slipped his personav from his pocket and scowled. Nothing about this message felt legit. The scowl fixed on his face spoiled like milk. He rounded a corner and there it was The Wooden LegHouse. Everything about this felt like a trap, but Aeron was just irritated enough to be looking for a fight. He knew looking for a fight wasn’t going fix anything. He didn’t care. Mira had sent her message to several mercs and that meant a possible bounty.

Aeron reread the message. It’s formality and vagueness reminded him of a soothsayer’s cadence. For just a moment he let himself imagine the caller was a forcer. If he remembered correctly, Coruscant outlawed them a while back, the bounty on one would be decent enough for Aeron to patch his ship and get the hell out of here. Then, he remembered he didn’t have that kind of luck, and no forcer would be caught dead here.

The smell of stale beer and cigarra smoke wafted over Aeron as he entered. The place was a dive, no doubt about it. He scanned the room crossing his arms over his chest and leaning against a pillar not far from the door. Mira hadn’t told him how to find her, so now it was time to play the waiting game.

And so they arrived. One by one they filed in, the boisterous Wookiee, the handsome Zeltron, the quiet Echani, and the bounty hunter, still standing off to the side. Standing up for a moment to make herself seen, she gestured Aeron over to her table before sitting back down. She would wait, of course, for him to walk over. If he chose to walk over, Hera would introduce herself.

"You presume correctly, NoVa, I am Mira. I know you, I know of all of you, actually. Through rumors, contacts, or free world reports. Not much more than your names and vague skillsets, however, which is why I've called you here." Hera hesitated for a second. Reaching up, she removed her darkening goggles. Her green eyes shone in the low light as she looked at the four before her, their forms far different to her eyes than they might see themselves in the mirrors.

"Listen, I don't beat around the bush and I don't mince my words. I didn't call you four here to waste your time or mine. I have not one, but two jobs available that I intend to split up amongst the four of you. Each job will equally make you rich, if you complete it properly. But before I reveal these jobs, and I will tell you more details, I need to know more about each one of you.

"Tell me three things. One, your best quality or skill. Two, your own perception of your worst quality or skill. And three, would you kill a beloved friend if you suspected them of treachery?"
At that, Hera folded her hands and waited. Her eyes flittered between each mercenary. These questions were more than just icebreakers, especially the last one. Depending on their answers, she would either utilize them or cut them loose right here.

Tristan watched as the last two mercenaries made their way inside the Wooden Leg House. The Zeltron scratched his chin nervously as he started to notice that they all seemed to be seasoned vets. He glanced at the man leaning on the pillar for a moment. Tristan was asking himself how many kills that guy must have had by himself, before nervously turning his head towards the Wookie seated next to him. He offered a nervous smile. The young Zeltron moved awkwardly in his seat as he tried to gage the Echani. Who was hiding underneath that armor? He crossed his arms as his thoughts wandered.

As soon as Mira started to speak, he tilted his head towards her, eager to know more about this job of hers. She proceeded to remove her goggles, revealing beautiful green gems. A playful smirk appeared on Tristan's face as he tried to focus on what she was saying.

Once she was done asking her three questions, The Zeltron, nervous as hell, looked around to see if anyone would speak up first. He was starting to panic inside, meanwhile he remained cool as carbonite on the outside. He gave the table a pat with both his hands before clearing his throat. " I guess I'll go first!" He exclaimed with a cocky smile. "Name is Tristan, or T." He made sure to look at every individual in the eyes as he kept talking. " My best quality, eh?!" He said in a playful tone as he pretended to gaze far into the bar while thinking about it. " Well besides me being a pretty darn good shot..." He paused, as his hand caressed the hilt of his slug pistols resting in their holsters on each side of his hips. " I must say people tend to have a great time around me, or so they say." Tristan said as he rested both his elbows on the table. Looking straight at Mira, as if the other four guests were not even there.

He then put two fingers up. " Hmm that's a hard one." The look on his mother's face as she was murdered by a force user came crashing into his brain. His own stare became a tad more melancholic, he frowned for a moment before snapping out of it and giving Mira that same charming smile he had previously given her. " I must say I tend to hold grudges." He clapped his hands together.

"And to answer your last question, It's quite simple." he rubbed his hands together. " I don't have friends." He gave the other members around the table a stern look, smile still on his face. " Nor do I intend on making new ones." His eyes then locked back in on Mira, relieved that the attention would no longer be on him. Christ was it exhausting to pretend to be social. " Oh, are we having a drink or?"

Tristan immediately caught Cha's attention. Attractive fucker. Cha became jealous sometimes. He appreciated his strength and thick fur for keeping him warm in colder climates. But he disliked his appearance often. Many people were either afraid of him because of his sheer size, or they were just outright offended by the fact that he, and Wookiees as a whole, existed. He often wished he could disguise himself as a Human. Fuck, maybe even a Zeltron. Tristan had to be one or the other. Although, this is Coruscant. He shouldn't limit himself to just those two races. "Best quality? My strength...my weakest quality?" He pondered this for a moment. His aim isn't great, but then again, maybe he needs a better gun. He's had his bowcaster for the past few years, and he's growing tired of its inconsistencies. "Sense of direction." Cha knows that he gets lost more than the average person. Even with a map on a data pad and being told by multiple people where to go, he still gets lost. It's honestly embarrassing how often this happens.

Cha could kill a 'beloved friend', as Mira put it. He's done it before, and he isn't afraid to do it again. Several of his close friends have betrayed him in the past. Once on his ship. Once whilst out hunting. He even killed his boyfriend for betraying him once. All it takes for Cha to kill someone is to smash their heads into a wall or a large rock a few times, and it's done. He hates doing it, of course, but if it means saving his life, then it doesn't matter. "Killing people isn't a problem for me. Whether I love them or don't. It never matters if it means I get to keep my life." Cha lets out a low growl as he leans back in the chair. Tristan mentions something about getting a drink, and Cha denies his offer and waits on everyone else.
"Oh, and the name's Cha."

Aeron’s mood wasn’t improving. The white-haired woman surrounded by newcomers beckoned him over. He stepped close enough to hear what she had to say, but he wasn’t interested in chatting. The pink guy and the Wookie were characters. Lots of bluster and brovado. Aeron didn’t see the point. Mira made it clear she knew who they were. Saying more only increased one’s disadvantage, so Aeron said nothing.

Mira greeted NoVa, who Aeron was closest to, and then addressed the rest of them. She made sweeping promises that sounded too good to be true and in his experience that meant it was. This was a bust and The Hunter could feel it. He rolled his eyes crossing his arms over his chest as she conducted this meeting like a job interview. Public speaking wasn’t his thing. As a matter of fact, he prized himself on how little he managed to say out loud each day.

It irked him that Mira knew she was wasting their time. Easiest way to weed off the chaff was to just put them to work. The pretty boy in pink stumbled his way through his introduction. He looked back and forth between the participants of this fellowship like a lost puppy looking for a home, but he wasn’t going to find one with Aeron. The Wookie stepped up to spill his guts and did his best. Then all of a sudden it felt like the group's attention had fallen on him.

Aeron glared at Mira, “Are you fucking serious?

Before she could answer he kissed his teeth in annoyance, “Aeron Mathis.

The Hunter kept his eyes leveled on Mira, “I’m good at hunting people, I’m bad at working with others, and treachery discovered is a new tool to be used. How long that “Friend” lives depends purely on what they have to offer.

Yvon blinked behind their concealing mask as Mira started to speak. They wondered just how much the Arkanian knew about them, how much of a threat she might pose to their identity, hidden as it was behind an alias and mask. Digging would have to be done.

Yvon remained silent as Tristan and then Cha spoke, taking in their answers, or lack thereof. The whole affair reminded Yvon of a grade school sharing circle. Tell the class your name, a few things about yourself, who's ass you thought you could kick. Everyone turned their attention to the rough looking hunter next and Yvon did nothing to discourage this as the man cursed and introduced himself, giving an answer that brought a small smile to Yvon's lips, hidden as it was.

"NoVa." Yvon stated simply when the turn passed to them, giving the hunter Aeron a nod that might indicate some level of respect before continuing. "I'm good with computers, gathering information. Knowledge is power." Yvon nodded as they monotoned in their masked voice before pausing to think for a moment, cocking their head. "Bad with people. Seems to be a trend here." Static hissed in what could only be assumed was brief laughter before going silent once again.

"Suspected of treachery? Suspicions must be investigated, proof dug up, rooted out, recorded. From there decisions to be made." Yvon paused in thought for a moment before continuing. "Is it a personal treachery or organizational? Can the treachery be leveraged? Too many unknown variables to say, but if they must die it is best done indirectly, discreetly... unless an example needs to be made with their death..." Yvon's buzzing voice rambled for a moment before they realize that maybe they had said too much and that the gathered eyes were starting to stare. "What?" They finished, glancing between each of the gathered members before settling eyes behind visor back on Mira, the only person who's opinion truly mattered at the moment.

Hera watched and listened closely as each mercenary answered her questions. While it seemed as though she was just wasting time, demanding answers to pointless questions and aimless hypotheticals, this couldn't be further from the truth. In one fell swoop, every mercenary had introduced themselves to their comrades, outlined their skills, and displayed how far they could be trusted.

Of course, these were only the surface-level benefits of the questions. Hera truly desired to see if they would answer in any manner, regardless of the responses. If they outright refused Hera's questions, then she knew they could not be trusted to take and follow orders. Nodding as NoVa answered last, rambling on for a minute, Hera gestured the serving droid over and addressed it, "Drinks all around, I'll be paying. A cup of caf for me-" At that, she gestured for the others to acquire beverages. She was thankful that Tristan had mentioned drinks as that was something she wouldn't have come up with on her own.

Once the droid wheeled away, Hera placed two datachips on the table. There would be no response from Hera after the mercenaries answered her questions. They passed the test, time to move on to the work. Tapping each one, she described the jobs. "These jobs are almost identical, and better described in the context of one other. During the reign of the Galactic Empire, the moon of Iktotch was blockaded by the Emperor to prevent interference from the natives. As is well known, most Iktotchi possess precognitive abilities and predicted the Galactic Civil War, but most chose to simply return home instead of fighting.

"This brought many wealthy and poor families to a harsh homeworld with no way to leave. Some of these families made a considerable fortune off-world and returned home with no way to spend their wealth. One such family is the Tirin family. Kelrej and Korir Tirin were the two sons of their patriarch, Ulmath Tirin. Ulmath passed away over a century ago, choosing to split his fortune between his two sons."

Hera paused here, tapping the datachips again as the droid returned with drink. Taking her caf, the datachips finally responded to her touch and revealed the faces of the two Iktotchi. Tan-skinned, long horns, and various scars marked their rough-shaped, but still young, faces. Sipping her caf, she continued, "The two sons were told to leave home and expand their fortune amongst the galaxy after the blockade was removed, but neither did so. Instead, the two sons have fostered a feud through their descendants over who deserves the entire Tirin fortune for the past hundred years.

"We are going to end their feud, by stealing the fortunes from both sides of the family."

At that, Hera stopped to listen for the responses among the mercenaries. After so much information, she was sure at least one of them would have questions.

Tristan, NoVa, Aeron, Mira. Cha tried to make a mental note of who was who. But, unfortunately, he was never very good at remembering faces and names unless they meant something to him. "Exactly how much are we talking about? The past few people who have come to me with offers like these say that, but it always turns out that the supposed "fortune" either never existed or was very, very little. I assume you've already done some preliminary reconnaissance on the locations of the brothers and their fortune?"

Cha gets up from the chair. It creaked loudly once more as if breathing in some fresh air, and he snarled at it. Cha doesn't trust this woman or anyone else here, for that matter. He's tempted to go and leave these fools. But...if this supposed fortune does exist, he could most definitely use it. It cost him a lot of fuel to get here from Kashyyk. This fortune would be enough to pay for said fuel and many more things. Things that would be useful to Cha. A new weapon, or maybe even some actual food. Things that he can cook with.

The idea of simply being able to cook himself a proper meal is exciting enough. After pondering this idea further, he sat back down on the chair. Except the chair had decided it had, in fact, had enough of Cha. A loud crunch echoed throughout the club, and Cha fell onto the floor, pieces of the wooden chair scattered around him. He could feel everyone's eyes on him, he could feel himself blushing slightly. Cha sighed loudly, got up and leaned against the nearest wall, and he waited.

"Caf as well." Yvon followed up on their employer's order to the servant droid. Perhaps it would be a little strange for the others, portraying themselves as some type of hardened mercenary slicer. Yvon wasn't exactly keen to find out if they could handle their liquor around a bunch of threatening strangers however.

Yvon cocked their head at Cha as the wookiee spoke, asking about how much credits they were talking about. An important question. Preliminary reconnaissance would be nice, information was power, however.

"The marks are precognitive. We must operate under the assumption that they were aware they are being targeted since the moment we sat down." NoVa's voice warbled from their helmet, tone ever indiscernible. "Perhaps even before that." Yvon turned their eyes to Mira to stare at their employer long and hard. Just how long had this scheme been in the works. How much foreknowledge did their clients have.

"How powerful are the precognitive power of these Iktochi. Are they as powerful in their foreseeing as the Jedi or Sith?" NoVa let the explosive question fly into the discussion, leaving it on the table for their employer to clear up. The implications were obvious. If their marks knew they were coming, was any preliminary reconnaissance even worth the data chip it was stored on. Would any of their preparations mean anything, if their targets were waiting for them. Could they better guard their fortunes or move them entirely ahead of Mira's heist. Or would the would be thieves merely wake up to daggers in their throats that night.

Finally, Aeron smiled. He was going to get to hurt someone for money soon and that made the smile on his face spread even wider. He waved away the waiter then to Mira he said, “I’ll take 5k upfront. Once the money hits my account, I’ll get to work.

The Hunter gave NoVa a nod on his way out. That creepy little thing was the only one he deemed possibly dangerous. He wasn’t interested in splitting hairs. Without another word, Aeron made his way out of the bar and back into the dregs of Coruscant. His prosthetic crackled and squirmed involuntarily. Under his breath, he thanked whatever preternatural being held that spasm off for as long as they did.

Realistically, that five grand would go a long way toward getting him operational again. Ever since the disaster with Rav, he’d taken a hit in the wallet and was struggling to get back on his feet. His arm needed calibrating, his ship needed maintenance, and he needed to sleep in a bed for more than three hours. He sighed as he stepped on the lift. He was headed down to the cheap seats and he prayed his ship was still there.

Tristan put up three fingers and nodded to the waiter in silence. He would also have himself a Caf. Although, maybe a few glasses of liquor would have been better, the tension was growing increasingly in the booth, every party seeming to lack trust in each other. Tristan would have thought that the hard alcohol would be enough to brighten the mood.

The Zeltron decided to stay quiet this time, letting the rest of the group ask all the important questions, surely they would all have the same inquiries he had. When the Wookie spoke first and asked about remuneration, Tristan smirked subtly. " Bingo." He thought to himself as he watched the fury giant fall to the ground in a thud. He almost burst out laughing but he knew better, that Wookie would probably use him as his next chair if he wanted to.

The drinks finally arrived and Tristan took a small sip before exhaling the hot fumes loudly. He brought his attention to NoVa. Curious fellow that one. He appreciated how careful he was, asking all the precautious questions before the mission started. It gave Tristan a sense of comfort, knowing that at least one of the mercenaries was organized.

His eyes glanced over to Aeron, the massive bounty hunter had what seemed to be a smile on his face. In total astonishment, Tristan snorted to himself. " Oh he does smile this one?" He thought to himself in silence, knowing very well that he would not make it out of this bar alive if he had spoke his mind. The idea of the 5k deposit made him raise one single eyebrow. Not a bad idea at all. He then watched the bounty hunter simply walk out without even getting an answer from Mira. Clearly he knew his worth and he wasn't bluffing.

" Who hurt that guy?!" Tristan said as he stretched, his hands meeting each other in the back of his head. The Zeltron did not want to be paired with him one bit. Sure he could resort to using his pheromones but even then, the idea didn't sit well with him. He then gave Mira a playful smile. " I think he speaks for all of us when he mentioned that deposit. It's only fair." He winked. " Do we know how many Iktotchis we are dealing with?"

Cha grunts in response to Aeron's demand for an upfront deposit. He glares at the rest of the three. Cha keeps getting a bad vibe from NoVa. He respects him for his anonymity, but it doesn't precisely make Cha trust him. "I agree with Aeron. 5k upfront and I'll be on board when it clears through." Cha didn't want to be here any longer than he had to. Especially after the fucking chair. "Any more information that comes through about these Iktochis, send me a message. It's not like you have my details already." He nods to Mira before walking out of the club, scoffing at the bartender on his way out.

It felt good to breathe in fresh air after being in The Wooden LegHouse. Cha was beginning to feel stuffy and anxious being in there. He saw Aeron down the street, and Cha headed in the other direction. He opened up the map on his datapad as he dawdled away. He remembered where his ship was parked, but the spaceport at so many exits and entrances that it was hard to keep track of where to go. Cha knew he would get back to his ship eventually, but not without a few detours along the way.

Hera watched her mercenaries talk, her eyes following their mouths and their movements. She smiled subtly as Aeron snapped and left, followed shortly by the Wookiee as his questions were answered with Aeron. This was exactly what she wanted, quick and decisive action. Looking to NoVa, the white-haired Arkanian responded with confidence, "The Iktotchi, as a species, possess powerful precognitive abilities. Isolated, and with their thoughts preoccupied with each other, their abilities are far weaker. They possess no knowledge of our machinations."

'I can guarantee that much.' Hera thought, the energies of the Force swirling around her. She was not exactly the strongest Jedi in the order, however, concealing the group's planning in a whirlwind of energy to two Iktotchi more occupied with how to strangle their own family was not a difficult operation for a Jedi Knight. Tapping the table, Hera continued, "The deposits will hit your account by the end of the day. After you pull off the heist, send the liquid credits back through the same wire from which you receive your money. It will need to be cleaned before your shares can be sent back to you, unless you wish to give the local authorities an easy way to track your theft. As for any material wealth you find, feel free to keep it. Fencing that will be your own work to do."

Pointing at her two remaining mercenaries, she gave them the last info they would need and sent them on their way. "Tristan, follow Cha, you two will be working together stealing from Kelrej's descendant. Be as loud as you would like for your operation, so long as your getaway is clean. NoVa, follow Aeron. Your skills will be required to keep your operation as discreet as possible. We want Korir's descendants to be more focused on Kelrej's loss than their own as long as possible. If you have more questions, here is my contact information."

Slipping a small datapad onto the table, Hera stood up and took her leave. All that remained now was to operate the Jedi side of this, and assuage her conscience.

Yvon listened as Mira explained about the Iktotchi's failings, their precognitive abilities mainly focused on each other as they tried to steal the other's fortunes. The upfront money was a definite bonus which would give Yvon the credits necessary to upgrade their slicing gear to something adequate for this job.

"Understood." NoVa replied, tapping the small datapad with their own to take the contact info for Mira. They would of course be doing their own digging into their employer as well as the job, if anything just to satisfy their own curiosity. Information was power.

With that Yvon stood and took their leave, slipping once more into the crowded streets of Coruscant to hopefully catch up with their partner for the job. They would find the necessary gear by the time the credits hit their account. Everything was starting to come together for the wayward Echani.
