OOC: Broadcast on the secure Jedi Order network.

Alex stood alone against the cold backdrop of space. The twinkling lights of faraway systems blinking steadily behind her. The Republic had collapsed. The Free Worlds not far behind. Even the Empire was a shade of its former heights. The galaxy was changing…faster than she could ever have imagined. They had been at war for so long, she had forgotten what a semblance of peace felt like. How to start? She never knew how to start. “Coruscant was our home for centuries. A home that was poisoned…perhaps far longer than we knew.” Alex shook her head sadly. “A Darkside nexus…the most powerful I have ever felt beat beneath the Temple. Hidden away in sections from centuries ago. It seeded fear, anger, and hate across Coruscant. That nexus is gone.” The words hung for a moment. “The Darkside has been cleansed by my hand and that of Jedi Starwalk.” Already the riots that had spread across the planet had quelled. “But our work cannot be done. The toll it took has raged across generations and it will take time to heal those wounds.” A map of the galaxy flashed on the screen.

“The galaxy we know is gone. Now, more than ever, we must be builders…healers…a light for the galaxy to follow. Make no mistake, the Sith are not gone. Our fight with them goes on. We know too well the path that follows unchecked darkness and Raze still lurks in the hidden corners of the unknown. But we will no longer be soldiers in a bloody war.” The map faded to show her determined face. “We must remain committed to uniting the galaxy against the Killik threat. A threat now all the greater for the splintering of the Republic and Free Worlds.” A threat that never seemed to fade.

“And I would caution you all on the new constructs of the Empire. We would do well to remember it was not Jedi hands that finally expelled the Sith, but the Darkside comes in many forms.” The Imperial Knights were largely former Sith. Darksiders with uniforms. Finally, she stepped forward. “We must change as the galaxy has changed. We became and army to protect ourselves and our allies. We must be more. It is the only way to heal a shattered galaxy.” The feed cut out.

The holographic transmission from the Grandmaster faded into silence, its ghostly echo refracting off the stark metallic walls of Perun's room aboard his corvette. The Ma'alkerrite, an imposing figure, turned his golden gaze toward the star-speckled abyss, his alabaster white fur glowing subtly under the austere, artificial light.

"Builders, healers..." he mused, a cynicism tempering his rich baritone voice. Perun’s inner musings took a new route – the enigmatic concept of a 'Force nexus'. A vortex of energy, its existence was as nebulous as the swirling galaxies outside his viewport.

"But cleansing a Force nexus..." He paused, his brow furrowing in thought. "What does that entail? Is it akin to neutralizing a threat? Or is it more like purifying water, stripping away impurities and leaving behind only the desirable?"

His hand found its way to his chin, scratching at his chin thoughtfully. "And is it even desirable? The Force is a river with two banks - light and dark. Could stripping away one bank disrupt the flow? Threaten the balance?"

His thoughts strayed to the remnants of war that littered the galaxy. The promise of peace hung in the air like a tantalizing scent, filling him with a paradox of dread and hope. As a warrior, he'd reveled in battle; as a Jedi, he'd healed and guided. The words from the Grandmaster had ignited an ember within, suggesting a future where they were more than just soldiers.

"We became an army to protect ourselves and our allies. We must be more," the Ma'alkerrite echoed Alex's proclamation. The universe was shifting, he could feel it pulsating in the rhythm of the Force. Their roles were to evolve, to adapt, and therein lay the challenge. Yet, his heart, resilient and courageous, embraced this newfound purpose.

"A light to follow, eh?" He sighed, humor curling up in a soft chuckle. "I guess I always did look good under a spotlight." As the silence crept back into his quarters, Perun turned his gaze back toward the stars, his mind brimming with questions and possibilities.
