BIOGRAPHY

Chase Locus was a human male born on Tatooine to two former slaves who served the Desilijic clan. From a young age, he’d learned of the immense power of money, how wielding it could buy anything— including freedom. In the years of his early childhood, running side jobs by night to earn a few meager credits and working nonstop during the day, it was an exhausting life.

It wasn’t until his teenage years where a stroke of luck suddenly befell him. A somewhat high-profile prisoner was being brought in by a bounty hunter before he somehow managed to kill his captor and find his way outside of the palace... making right for Chase, who was in the middle of cleaning a Gamorrean guard’s axe. Without much thinking as the man ran furiously at him holding some sort of sharp object, his fight or flight instincts kicked in and choosing the former, the boy swung the weapon. Moments later, he was dead. Later, when witnesses confirmed that it was indeed Chase who had stopped the captive, the rewards were ushered in, with enough credits to free not only himself, but his parents too.

Ever since, Chase had pursued the path of the bounty hunter, training in various sorts of martial arts and blaster techniques with the scum and villainy who came through Tatooine. He shed his old name of Chase in favor of Crux to disconnect his current life from his past. Despite this, he saw it as critical to remain in contact with the powerful Desilijic clan, where he eventually decided to work with Nor’baal the Hutt. He soon dedicated himself to carrying out the Hutt’s dirty work, becoming one of his most loyal followers. With good pay and a solid way to live, he saw it as the only way that he could be truly free.

PERSONALITY

While he appears as a brute to most who come into contact with him, Crux is actually quite happy to share a drink or two(or more) with those whom he respects or has worked with before. On missions, he can be merciful— it just depends on who his target is and what Nor’baal’s orders are.
