It's been a while since the Star Guardians dared to make a public announcement, the last time being the former Star Guardians leader stepping down after formally apologizing. But things had changed, and now that there was a new leader, it was time to get back into action. Clara, dressed in her uniform and her hair flowing behind her back, stepped in front of the camera with a bright smile, ready for what was to come.

"Citizens of the galaxy!" Clara smiled radiantly into the camera. "My name is Clara Reach, and I'm the new leader of the Star Guardians. A lot has changed since you may've last seen us on the HoloNet. Some good things, and some bad things. We'd like to discus some of these matters with all of you today, starting with the Killik cure."

"As many of you are aware, the Jedi Order has developed a method to detect and cure the Killik Joiners. They've given us this cure and detection method, and they've asked us to test it before delivering it to places where the Jedi can't go. This we will do. It's taken some time, but we're finally ready for such an important task." Clara excitedly clasped her hands together. "Once we've confirmed that the test is safe and effective, we'll distribute the cure wherever we can. We'll also send Star Guardians to key locations, such as borders and densely populated cities, to detect and cure Killik Joiners as soon as possible. However, we are few in number and there are many planets. We request that any faction with access to the detection and cure do the same."

"As for the Star Guardians themselves. Following the rightful and valid criticism, we've decided to refuse all future donations. While we are eternally grateful for the help provided by the galaxy, we wish to remain as neutral and unbiased as possible. This will have an effect on the Star Guardians, but thanks to our self-sustaining setup, affordable medicine exports, and the medical droid P9-H1 Bunbun, we'll manage." Plus, thankfully they still had plenty of untouched credits left from the Senate's donations, which meant they could expand. The more facilities they'd have, the more herbs they could grow to turn into medicines, which only lead to reducing the costs for the Star Guardians and increase income. "We do want to make sure to clarify though; any information, such as expenses and income and the compensation for the members of the Star Guardians, can be publicly found. Worst case the names will be blurred out if it's confidential information." Clara laughed kindly.

That same laugh faded not long after. "We've also just noticed the ongoing battle of Kessel. The Star Guardians will travel to Kessel as soon as it is possible to enter the surface to set up camps for injured victims and soldiers, as well as to provide aid wherever possible." The woman's brows dipped slightly. "We would also like to offer our help to the people of Ithor. We understand, however, that Ithor is no longer interested in outsiders for very valid reasons, which is why we've kept our distance. But we'll be here the moment they reach out."

"Thank you for your time." Clara's smile returned one more time. Before the feed went black, she bowed her upper body to the camera as a sign of respect to whoever was watching.
