Dark Disciple

Started listening to Dark Disciple today, and I'm rather enjoying it. This comes as a bit of a surprise considering I'm not the biggest fan of Golden's.

I was pretty skeptical of this book, but I ended up liking it.

As was I, I'm absolutely engrossed at the moment. Also digging the return of Master Tholme, albeit as a mention only. I can only assume that since it started out as clone wars episodes, we won't see much more about EU characters. But even so, I'm enjoying the book immensely.

I was surprised by the return of

Spoiler: Spoilers - Seriously, this has a huge spoiler in it about the book's ending. You have been warned.

Boba Fett and his bounty hunter crew, but I suppose that makes sense since this is basically the last Ventress story.

Yeah that surprised me a bit too. Overall, definitely think this is one of the best of the new canon bookz, and up there with some of the Legends books as well.

This started off slow, but turned out to be quite a good and sad read. I enjoyed Ventress out of all the characters in the story.
