Darshev continued to struggle to attack, but after a few attempts, he relented. He turned to Slaner, slowly. "What should we do..." It was once again that mercy nagged at him, more strongly this time, and he strived to hide it. He was not quite ready to outrightly kill, however, brutally mauling he had no problem with. "I say... torture him, or leave him with some excruciating pain to leave him with for the rest of his pathetic life. Death would only serve as an escape, I think."

Slaner smiled, knowing the true doubt that caught Darshev's mind.

"Acoltye, he has proven nothing but a fool. This," Slaner looked over the moaning Togruta, "FOOL has no power for life. While true, killing him would be a escape, but there is a lesson here." Slaner had made his way slowly to the Togruta, pulling his lightsaber out suddenly and beheading him.

"Murder all those who might become powerful one day, and who might try to take revenge upon thee."

He watched as Slaner walked to the Togrutan, and without such speed, decapitated him. He bit his lip, his lesson learned. He then folded his arms, and glanced down at the corpse. "Would that not mean you would kill me?" As reference to the "Kill all who would become more powerful." speach.

"Only if I felt you would attempt to threaten me. As long as you don't try that, I'm more than happy to leave you alone." Slaner smirked.

"Now then, which part of our Dark Jedi code would this fall under?"

He nodded nervously at the sentence, never actually intending to cross his master any time soon. At the question, he looked down at the floor for a moment, thinking back to what small time he spent at the temple before his assigning. He mumbled the code over, going through the stanzas, attempting to think over the meaning, before coming to the conclusion of the final stanza being the answer, over power and death. He then looked to Slaner, "I would imagine the final stanza? 'No life, only death?'"

"It does." Slaner turned off his lightsaber and walked by Darshev. "Give me a explanation for each stanza."

((OOC: Sorry for not posting in so long.))

Having already recalled some of it, his mind rather easily recalled the lines. Of course, understanding them was a different story altogether. "The first I know all to well. Life is pain and anguish, and until we learn that, we can never attain power. The second I can understand... and that we must rely on instinct, not pondering. The third is idiotic, as it mostly the same thing as the second, only more about emotion. The next one is like the last. The world is chaos, to replace death, and I covered the last already, so I think thats it." He said, taking a few deep breaths afterwards.

"Not bad. Now give me a event in your life that falls under each. And make no mistake," Slaner said looking at Darshev, "there are differences between each stanza."

Darshev already had the answer within his mind, even before he asked. "Suffering, the first relates to me all to easily. My home was destroyed, my life ruined. Which is why I will return the favor someday. With the second, it was only from my instinct that I survived, not from slow contemplation over what I should do. I am who I am, a scar being. I will not claim to be above emotions, so why should I deny my need to exact revenge? For that leads to the fourth, which is there is no Force. If there was some benevolent Force, why is it I am forced to hurt so much? Nay, it is truely a random, cruel world. And the Death, it is all about us. Death of family, of my old life. But then again, it was not all bad, as it all brought about the death of my ignorance, and why I am now here."
