In Memory Of . . .

Kamelle Skyler, you were loved, you were hated—loved and hated by me, hated by others.

You have only 5 threads to your name but, in spite of your being an utterly despicable person with very few redeeming qualities, you will be missed.

I had planned on taking you to the stars and beyond even though your mind beat me to it.

You began your journey having woken up in a freighter with a bunch of other fools without having any idea how you got there. You retained your memories at first but they gradually degraded until amnesia set in.

This not having been roleplayed out on account of the thread being 'abandoned', you yet managed to escape your prison and kill your captives. From there, it was a struggle to regain your memories and your mentality which was, let's face it, never that great to begin with.

Lost and confused, having traveled the stars searching for 'something', you crossed paths with Darth Andruil. While she and another Sith all but tolerated your broken behavior and muddled mind, you helped murder spicers and left with the prospect of being trained by the Sith Lord.

...You never got the chance...

Amid the fluidity of time (we won't question it too much; that's why we chew the scenery and give hammy performances in 'react posts') among which you began to flay a victim alive and talked to a decapitated head named Doug, you 'cooperated' with a few other fools and freaks to escape a Hutt bunker on Mataou filled with AMS and a ticking clock.

...Except you never escaped...

What began as a simple misunderstanding—and we forgive you for following 'the Mule' into the immediate corridor with your lack of expertise of Huttese—grew into doubt for doubling back and eventually into typical Sith lust. You wanted to see what was behind that vault, Kamelle, didn't you? And you didn't much care for the cost.

If nothing good can be said about you, well, one plus is that you remained true to your lack of fear for death. You were prepared for it since you were born, since you set foot on Mataou, since you entered a Hutt bunker and dared to break into a vault.

As Screamer the Mule stole your lightsaber, your beskar and your last chance of survival, you lay in that corridor thinking of all those you maimed, mutilated and murdered, and smiled, but struggled to remember whether you left the oven on and with Doug still inside it.

You spoke three last words: "Your turn...brother."

Then you died.
