Rafe was sitting in the cockpit of a well kitted out VCX-820 escort freighter, a guest, while he maintained himself comfortably in an unused gunners seat, he held a death stick in his left claw that he occasionally pulled drags off. His gracious host @Mae Tecono was hard at work, piloting the ship, and keeping the scanners up, they were floating between Kashyyyk and Onderon, their target.. a healthy Blackwell Munitions shipment. Sure the loot would be nice, and the payment afterwards even better, but Rafe was here for something else, and was hoping he'd find it...
Rafe watched the girl in action, she wasn't all that much younger than he was, but standing toe to tip Rafe towered over her ar almost three times her height, and probably some four or five times her weight. Even so, Rafe knew some of the deadliest bombs came in the smallest of containers.. time would tell, Rafe wanted to see what she could do, she had called herself a pirate, and her ship dam sure backed that up, but Rafe needed to know She could back that up as well.. at the moment it would be for both their sakes..
Rafe was fully armed, but even without his weapons, Rafe could never truly be considered disarmed.. his clawed hand pulled the death stick to his mouth again as he took a long drag off of it, exhaling a moment later.
You prepped to handle the resistance that Blackwell's munitions so commonly offers? Rafe inquired, breaking the silence, and earning the attention of the diligently working Aqualish that made up her crew, Rafe thought it was odd to see such a concentration of a single species working on one ship under a captain who did not share the same. But then again, maybe Rafe's crew was odd, he had a crew of six, including himself, that not only didn't share the same species but were also exclusively non-human. Perhaps he was the odd one..
Rafe didn't wait for her answer before taking another drag off his death stick. If their target ship, a AMS-8500 light freighter, was on schedule then they still had some ten minutes or so before it would be at these coordinates, which was more than enough time to give this girl a final chance at going back, once they fired on the ship it was over.. and she'd be committed.
