Does what it says on the tin, really. For any OOC discussion about the draw or the tournament, or any questions, issues or concerns, use this thread. As per usual, if you'd rather keep any concerns etc out of the public domain, feel free to PM me at any time.

When enough people have actually signed up to it. I would estimate, as I shall leave the sign-up open for a couple of days, that I shall finalise the draw on Friday and it will begin straight away.

What kind of settings will this be in? An arena? A Jungle? What? I think that a sort of Jungle area would be tight. ^^

It says all of the settings in the rules. Maybe worth reading, niet?

By my understanding of the tournament proceedings, death within the tournament will not affect your character in the main storyline.

Think of the tournament existing outside the actual Story setting. Sure, your character retains their physical attributes and personality, but whatever happens inside the arena has no effect on the outside world. You could die or lose an arm in the tournament, but you'll still be alive and whole in the RP.

In other words, the tournament is an Out-of-Character event (as far as the Role-play story goes).

Luck to you all, when it starts.

I'll remember to leave marked graves instead of anonymous mounds of dirt.

There may be multiple graves when Nigel's rifle blows your OCs to peices. XD

If he can hit any of them. DX

You mean if he can get actually hit or even pull the trigger before dying, right? :CHappy:

No, I mean if he can hit them, cycle the action, and then take a second shot. Bolt actions can be a real pain in the keister. :)

It would appear so. This saddens me. Makes for fun reading though. :p

On a brief side note, I noticed that Grognak the Barbarian is signed up for this thread. This makes me happy...

Happy that I didn't sign Dalang Winters up! :CHappy:

I always pick my most unassuming characters for the Grand Tournament. Makes things a little more interesting.

I definitely didn't see Grognak joining, that's for sure. It was a bit of a surprise, I might say. Not an unpleasant one, though, he'll be interesting to see in action.

I had originally intended to join with Bahadur, but I didn't because I didn't want to have an overpowered [furry!] space marine running around in the tourney. Thought that might just be a wee bit unfair, amirite? :p
