Draco's Armor

The armor was at first the standard issue for the military but over time Draco made modifications to it, customizing the design more to his liking and needs. He first included a thermal undersuit, providing extra protection from elemental hazards. Durasteel plates were added next, increasing his protection even more with the added ability of the plates being removable. This gives the ability to shed some weight in order to make a quick getaway or for just more mobility in the field if it's required. The grapple line and wrist blaster were installed by Draco's request to provide him more options in combat and the latter being his last line of defense.

LEGALITY

The equipment on the armor is fully legal and being that Draco is an active member in the military, can be worn in ISC space freely when it is deemed necessary. That said, wearing a full-face helmet in public spaces is frowned upon, and often illegal in many core worlds, especially in or near government facilities- not to mention that many identification cards in various systems require a full-face photo.

INTENT

An armored suit that Draco will wear for combat missions or when he finds himself in dangerous areas of the galaxy.

RESTRICTIONS
It's a piece of custimized armor for dangerous operations and isn't really restricted.

Functions

Function 1: Vision Modes
  • This Allows a Helmet HUD to cycle to low-light OR thermal vision modes.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes
Function 2: Filter
  • Filters are bulky attachments to a helmet, or function as part of a mask, that filter out environmental contaminants such as smoke or most toxins. They are susceptible to caustic substances and damage.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes
Function 3: Grapple Line
  • Grapple lines are capable of supporting the weight of 1-2 people and can launch up to ranges typically up to 15 meters away. Once no longer in use, they are detached from the launcher and left behind. While hand-held grapple guns are capable of auto-winching, armor or wrist-mounted devices lack this ability. Grapple lines must be manually activated and controlled by a button or switch.
  • Force User Compatible?: No
Function 4: Thermal Undersuit
  • Thermal undersuits wick away or reflect thermal energy for brief periods of time. They are not nearly as effective as a suit that firefighters would wear. Most commonly used to protect soldiers from flamethrower weapons or short bursts of extreme heat or cold, and are only good for 1-2 posts of exposure depending on intensity. They are useless against blasters.
  • Force User Compatible?: No
Function 5: Wrist Blaster
  • This weapon does the damage of a medium blaster but is mounted on the forearm. With limited ammunition (10 shots) and range (15m), it isn't a substitute for carrying a blaster, but it is certainly very useful as a backup or ambush weapon in close quarters. The weapon must be manually activated via a button or another trigger.
  • Force User Compatible?: No
