Chapter 1

3/12/138 ABY: It's been a year since master sent me on this expedition. The ruins I've explored so far are pretty interesting, but they have weird markings and scary drawings all over the walls. I didn't sense any dark-side presence in the area, but it still felt creepy. If he only he taught me that one ability that lets you see the past events or whatever from an object. I think it was called Psychometry. I'm currently en route to my next destination, hyperspace travel sure does take a lot longer than it sounds like. I guess it's short relative to how long it would take if there was no hyperspace.

3/13/138 ABY: Just arrived, it appears to be a forest/jungle type of planet. I see a few swamps in the area, but this is the first place that seems to have a lot of force energy around it, both light and dark. Master told me I was looking for a place where ancient Jedi once settled, could this be the place?

I can't believe it! So I just walked through the forest, and these weird ghost looking creatures were floating around. They kind of looked like spirit foxes? It was strange, but one of them noticed me and the others immediately came over. There were about a hundred of them, and they were floating in a circle around me. It felt like they were dangerous at first, but a few of them came closer towards me. It seemed like they were observing me, and they would turn towards one another but would not make any noise. They were super slippery to touch, it was nearly impossible to grab a hold of them. They were so cute though! I just wanted to grab one and hold onto it super tight.

After observing them, as they observed me, I realized that these creatures were very intelligent. They played with one another, laid down in the sun, observed me, and it appeared they communicated with one another. I tried to see if I could get them to understand me, but they had a very hard time. These creatures were obviously not what one would consider a 'being', but they were brilliant. I could sense the light side in each one as well, and I believe these creatures are the ones that I sensed. Although I'm not sure where I was feeling the Darkside from.

3/14/138 ABY: set up a small camp yesterday as the sun went down. The little creatures watched intently and inspected every object I brought with me. Although they weren't interested in eating or drinking any of the supplies I brought with me, even when I offered some. In fact, I'm not quite sure what they eat at all. I can see weird shapes in their body moving around, and I can also see their veins. However, I don't see any organs. They also seem to bunch up together once the sun is gone. Maybe they need to stick together for warmth? Either way, it was so cute it was like a bunch of babies sleeping together.

As I explored around today looking for any ruins or temples, the little creatures were following me. I wasn't sure if it was out of curiosity or protection, but it seemed nice to have some friends along the way. These were the first intelligent creatures I've seen in over a year, the last being my master.

When I went towards the swamps the creatures stopped following me. They wouldn't go anywhere near the swamps, and there didn't seem to be anything dangerous in the vicinity. I waited a bit to see if they would eventually follow, thinking that maybe this was undiscovered territory for them. After about 10 minutes they didn't move any closer, so I continued on.
