[Lukas Aurelius]

*Open To Jedi/Allies Only*

Planet: Sernpidal.
Sernpidal City.
1900 Hours.

Lukas Aurelius would stifle a sigh. He was invited to the great desert party on Sernpidal. The climate was one of two. Hot during the day and less as hot at night. Lukas wore his usual dark Jedi robing attire and his usual Trimmed cut look. He came here as of good grace to the Sernpidalian people who kept the Jedi in good favor and were great hosts and helpers to the Jedi's cause. The least Lukas could do was accept the invite when they let majority of the order know of this party they hosted for them. None the less Lukas would be already walking to the entrance to the venue. It was a Sernpidalian palaceof some sorts. Cleared out for the party as Lukas continued to move up the steps. His icy blue eyes taking of interest the decorative lanterns that lit up on the corner posts and curvature of the architecture of the palace. They certainly knew how to appease the cosmetic eye as Lukas felt the soft warm night breeze hit his skin and give him a sense of relief as he was warm already. Opting out of the all white robing's they offered to those invited for the heat. Lukas never planned on dancing and didn't drink anyway so it wouldn't matter to him. The Jedi would politely bow as he got to the door. The fine sound of music now hitting his ears as he perked a brow.

"Welcome Master Jedi, We thank you for gracing us with your presence." a polite Sernpidalian said to Lukas. His pale face in a humble look as his red eyes looked at Lukas. Looking a bit confused as Lukas politely bowed back before saying softly. "Please, the pleasure is all mine..Thank you for having me." as the male Sernpidalian stepped to the side to let the Jedi enter. Lukas would continue to walk in with his arms folded over his robes as further he dove into the palace the more he seen the festivities. Banners hung around the rather larger 10ft ceilings and lanterns sprung along the walls in rows as Lukas watched species who were for the order all over. Some already drinks deep and others simply conversing as it had just begun and already it seemed a sight to behold to the Jedi. Moving forward down the hallway as he couldn't help but feel the overwhelming nature of the place. A slight mumble escaping from his lips as he smiled to those passing him. "They really went all out." he thought before getting closer to the main area and finally stepping through the arched door way as he seen some lights flashing a little and a rather big bar shifted in the corner with holoscreens behind it in every size. The dance floor already had participants on it but only a couple as he continued to scan around like a sore thumb.

His blue eyes catching multiple open doors, curved in the same design of the arch overhead that lead to the outside patio that was almost the same size as the main room. Fountains lay shown in the corners letting the water ripple down and circulate. More than likely they recirculated the water at night to avoid evaporation and only used this for the wealthy or big events for such a dry planet. Lukas would feel the warm breeze blow across his face as the night air was almost a godsend to him in his robes. The night was young and who knows what would be dragged across the galaxy of the order to come here. Lukas for now kept to himself.

[Zayn Talis]

Unsurprisingly, Zayn was feeling beyond hyped for yet another Jedi gathering. Not only was he a social creature by his very nature, but with his recent elevation to Knighthood, the Corellian found himself busiert than ever - and he was especially looking forward to another opportunity to truly unwind and relax amongst his peers. He hadn’t stepped foot on Serpindal before that night, but he certainly wasn’t going to turn down a party being thrown for them by the locals. Hopefully, this social wouldn’t end with him puking his guts out in some festival dumpster.

For once, the Corellian had spruced up a bit for the evening, sporting a pair of black jeans and a tight-fitting, gray button-up. The first few buttons were left purposefully undone, revealing the upper portion of Zayn’s muscular torso and flaunting the myriad of tattoos that were inked across his neck and chest. His hair was combed and styled into its usual side-fade, and he was lightly scented with a woodsy cologne.

Turning down one of the white robes that was offered, Zayn stepped through the entrance of the venue - allowing his hazel eyes to wander the room and briefly glance over those who had already arrived. It didn’t take him long to spot Lukas across the room - flashing the fellow Knight a peace-sign and jut of his chin in greetings as he strolled across the room, making a beeline for the bar that had been set up.

Snagging himself a glass from the bartender, Zayn took a sip before turning back to face the room - casually watching those on the dancefloor before flicking his hazel gaze back to the entrance, observing for a few minutes as other guests and members of the Order arrived.

[Zana Ari]

After the debacle at the last Jedi social, Zana avoided them for a long time. She almost considered skipping this one as well, but she decided it had been some time since she had seen other Jedi in a non-combat setting. On top of that, the geriatric moron that insulted her at the last social was kicked out of the Order so he wouldn’t be looming about anyway.

The twi’lek dressed in a simple crop top and pants outfit, her wrists accessorized with charm bracelets. The incident at the last social had stung her enough to where she continued her refusal to wear dresses again. Zana walked in and took in sight of the surroundings, the warm weather already causing her skin to line with sweat.

Zana smiled at both Zayn and Lukas, having seen them in passing. However, she didn’t formally meet them and waved at them for now, walking over to grab herself a drink.

[Lukas Aurelius]

Lukas Aurelius would be glancing around the venue still taking in the work and effort put in before his blue eyes would glance over to catch a man with a clean hair cut and well taken care of with an outfit that looked like he was ready to go party. The upwards tilt of the chin in a fast motion towards Lukas and the peace sign gave the indication he seemed a free kind of spirit as Lukas nodded back to him solemnly. The music continued to thrum in the club as the lights flashed across the big venue and the cool breeze of the out doors swept through the place every so often as Lukas would enjoy the light breeze as others mingled about on the dance floor or at the bar.

Lukas would catch another somewhat Jedi face he may have seen around. It was hard to pin point as so many Jedi of shapes and sizes crossed paths it was hard to keep up as Lukas seen the female Twi'lek move across the room and flash Lukas a smile as he nodded with a polite smile back before she went off to the bar to fetch a drink. It seemed the pair went directly to the bar to crack the night easy by getting a drink in. Lukas in the other hand stood out like a sore thumb in his robes for a moment as he perked an eyebrow and watched on one side of the bar, a group having shots of some neon liquid like substance and already getting the party ready.

A bead of sweat ran down Lukas's back from the heat as servers went about the crowd with trays as one approached Lukas. "May I get you a drink?" She said politely as Lukas nodded. "Just a water please." He would watch her bow softly and go off as he looked out towards the out door venue that had multiple doors leading out to it and noticed a half cut Jedi Nautolan male almost fall off the balcony from leaning back to far and already several drinks deep. "It just....started." Lukas blinked rapidly before letting a quiet sigh out. "This is going to be something.".

[Rainea Duannis]

Rainea had been dashing around screaming like a newborn gundark getting her workshop and library set up here for the past 2 days, silently lamenting the fact that she had to move her work yet again. Given the unenviable task of organizing all the books and ensuring none of her research materials went missing, she was a tad stressed, so she was more than happy to take the chance to unwind, having seen the invitation in passing.

Rainea turned up still in her robes, stained black and a little dusty, though she at least tried to dust herself off before she entered. It was a social event, not a formal one, why would she need to dress nice? She was here to drink, and maybe...oh, actually this could be a good opportunity for that. Plenty of Jedi were around, after all, a thought for later. After giving a polite greeting and spotting her fellow knights around her, Rainea immediately made her way toward the bar - she needed some courage if she was going to socialize.
"1 megapint of Quarren Sea Dew please," She said softly, shifting a little in her stool.

[Zayn Talis]

A few minutes passed, and Zayn continued to linger with his back to the bar - taking a few sips from his drink and taking his feet to the music, all while his hazel eyes wandered around the venue - taking in the sight of the guests as they arrived. Every so often, his attention was drawn towards the dancefloor - feeling that familiar urge to move as the upbeat music reverberated in his ears. He tipped his glass towards Lukas whenever he caught the older Jedi’s attention, flashing the man a friendly smile as he did so - promptly deciding he would migrate over to say hello before the night was over.

Before he could, however, Zayn’s attention was promptly drawn towards the next guest to arrive - hazel eyes following Zana as she passed through the entrance of the palace. While he had bumped into the twi’lek once or twice before at the Yavin Temple, he hadn’t had much of an opportunity to interact with her prior to that night. His gaze lingered for a moment or two longer, the smile on his lips tugging a bit wider

Before he could, however, his attention was promptly drawn towards the next guest to arrive - hazel eyes following Zana as she passed through the entrance of the palace. While he had bumped into the twi’lek a few times at the temple in the past, he hadn’t had an opportunity to interact with her prior to that night. His gaze couldn’t help but lingered for a moment or two, the smile on his lips tugging a bit wider when he noticed the girl smiled and waved back his way.

After a few moment and another drink from his glass, Zayn pushed off from where he was standing - crossing the room and towards where Zana had went for a drink. He flashed the Twi’lek a wave as he approached, “Hey, you’re Zana right?” He smiled a bit wider - his lips tugging upwards as he met her gaze. “I’m Zayn.”

[Arctus Friers]

It had been a while since the last Jedi social – one he wasn't present for. Arctus was still a little salty that he missed that one, even more so when rumors about a fight came up. The former smuggler didn't want to stick his nose in where it did not belong, but sometime after the social his fellow Padawan Laeonnas disappeared from the Temple. Arctus wondered where the younger man went, and the former felt a touch of regret for not reaching out to the second – third, actually – oldest Padawan in the Order.

Should've put the effort into making time to hang out with the guy, eh? Arctus thought to himself as he arrived on Sernpidal City. He didn't mind desert planets that much. In fact, it dredged up some fond memories. But he pushed thoughts of the last social and memories aside as he approached where the party was being held, feeling genuinely excited about mingling with other Jedi while at the same time missing Clove and Ruzaan. The former smuggler had his hands full with training and Padawan duties for the past months, and he somehow hated being too busy to hang out with his best friends.

Still, he really couldn't complain about the training and work because they distracted him from a lot of bad things.

He dressed simply for the social. Well, it was more of an anything-he-could-grab-from-the-closet kind of thing. And when he entered the bar, the corners of Arctus's lips stretched upwards in a genuine, happy smile. Hazel green eyes scanned the crowd, sending a friendly "Hello!" to Knights Ari (@Sreeya) and Talis (@Altaris). Though his attention was quickly drawn towards Knight Aurelius who seemed to be inclined to leave. Or so Arctus assumed. The Padawan looked around, taking in the sight of fellow Jedi having fun, and decided that maybe he could convince the Knight to stay.

He approached as the server went to get Knight Aurelius's drink. Arctus offered the man a polite and respectful incline of the head before introducing himself.

"Party's just getting started but some of the young bloods are gettin' smashed already, eh?" The Padawan then offered the Knight a smile and a friendly handshake. "Padawan Arctus Friers. Nice to– er, it's an honor to meet ya, Knight Aurelius."

[Lukas Aurelius]

Lukas Aurelius would continue watching everyone mingle as his blue eyes scanned around before he was approached by another Jedi. Lukas would turn to see the movement in the corner of his eye as the man bowed slightly in a polite gesture. Lukas nodded softly to him as he listened quietly for a moment as the Jedi introduced themself and made a general statement. Lukas smirked a little to this as he nodded to the Jedi. "Happens every time. Never fails." he would glance around the room for a moment as the party continued to be in full sweep and there was no shortage of beverages as the servers would be bouncing around without stopping. Lukas would see the handshake rise as he gripped the Jedis hand and firmly gave it a shook with his soft smile. "Pleasure Padawan Friers." he would perk a brow as it seemed the Knight knew his name.

"Surprised you know me?" He would wonder. The Padawan didn't seem familiar as many Knights never either. The order was full of all kinds that he came across as he continued. "Have we met before?" Lukas laughed a little as he was a bit curious now. As the two were conversing the server would come back with the tray and hand Lukas his water before turning to the Padawan. "May I get you something as well?". Lukas would take the drink politely and nod as he took a sip and waited to hear the answer. The strobe lights would continue to flicker across the room as more Jedi began to pile in and spread out across the venue with laughter and music filling the night.

[Fennex Fisto]

Fennex snapped his right wrist backwards, activating the accelerator on his 99-V Ranger. The motorbike released a turbine of blue colored flames from its exhaust as it speed quickly through the winding desert roads. Billows of dust and smokes pummeling around its frame as he weaved and navigated dangerously through stop and go traffic on his way to the Jedi Congregation. Not one for patience when it came to social gatherings, he had chose to ride by himself rather than take an Uber Speeder. He was thinking his fortunes, "Man, I would have been stuck in that traffic for hours.." He said to himself as he adjusted the volume knob of the ongoing playlist.

A classic song but true to the vibes of tonight began to blast from the external speakers, BASS turned up to create a pounding echo as the Jedi Knight announced his arrival. Pulling up near the valet, he leaped from the seat and tossed the keys towards the Duros male attendant along with enough credits for a generous tip. "Just keep it outside..." He said in quiet voice, furry hands sliding upwards to remove the speeder helmet and lit a cigarra in his mouth.

Fennex strode into the main lobby, a devilish smile lashed across his face as his tail swished behind him excitedly. The Amaran was dressed in a cardigan blue sweater that accented his golden fur along with dark denim jeans and freshly polished black dress shoes. A two toned stainless steel watch capped on his left wrist, sleeves of the sweater turned underneath to accentuate the timepiece. Gripping the biker helmet in his left hand, his right index and thumb pinched the cigarra lightly to move it just inches from his face. A puff of flavored smoke cloud partially obscured his face when he exhaled. Black eyes scanned the room, settling first upon Lukas as he was engaged in conversation with an unfamiliar Padawan. Walking besides him, a furry hand patted the human Jedi on the shoulder before continuing to walk away. Fennex would turn and give him a greeting with an upwards snap of his chin. "Good to see you Lukas, you're looking well." @Exhilian

He moved towards the bar to grab himself a few drinks, approaching in close proximity to Zayn and Zana, though he had met neither before and so he gave them both a friendly wave before settling in the bar seat next to the Twi'lek. His tail swishing gently as he perched into position on the stool. "Lime flavored Vodka and whichever energy drink you may have." He gestured towards the bartender before shifting his gaze towards the two Jedi Knights next to him. "Shots?" He asked. @Sreeya @Altaris

 

[Rainea Duannis]

Rainea brought the pint to her mouth and started to drink...and continued to drink...and drank some more...and m- what the frack? She's drinking it in one go!!! The empty pint glass slammed down on the bar as Rainea let out a concussive belch, putting her hand to her mouth afterward.
"Eep, sorry," She squeaked awkwardly, chuckling as she made toward the dance floor. Liquid courage consumed, now she was already starting to feel a bit better. The same could not be said for her dancing, however.

It was nice to just take a moment and appreciate the finer things in life, like having a night out with your friends...well, she didn't have friends, but there was still time!!! Rainea walked up to one of the first Jedi she saw, still hiccuping slightly, and offered a hand toward them. She struggled to keep her eyes off the massive mustache though, it took up his whole face! "Hi there, I'm Rainea, it's nice to meet you. I'm sorry if I just kind of dropped in without warning, I had an invite and I don't know anyone so I just needed to acclimatize first. You're Lukas, right?"

Lukas Aurelius was still waiting for an answer from the Padawan before his icy blue eyes were turning to see a Amaran approach him with a quick pat on the shoulder and head jut like the other Knight. "You too..?" Lukas perked a brow as he wondered how in the kark did this Jedi know him too?. Regardless Lukas appreciated the warm gesture and would smile as he would reply. "You as well." before the Amaran would make his way off to the bar as Lukas would take a sip of his water and was about to wait for the previous Knights answer but seen a Jedi dancing and a loud belch coming before her moves as he perked an eyebrow. He smiled a bit as it was good to see those enjoying themselves as the dancing Jedi approached him and seemed a bit intoxicated. " Hello Rainea, pleasure to meet you. You are not intruding at all, this is welcomed to all those in the order." Lukas would smirk.

"I am indeed, I am curious but have we met or have you seen me around? It seems a few people here know me and I don't really recall, my apologies. But regardless it is nice to meet you. Rainea this is Padawan Friers." Lukas would nod politely to the Padawan as he spoke to both of them. "So how are both of you finding the order? Padawan Friers, keeping up with your training? Jedi Rainea you must be quite busy with all the effort the order is making to protect the galaxy. Both of you enjoy yourselves and have a drink, relax and enjoy the night. We don't get many of these." He laughed a little as he raised his glass a little for a cheers. As the trio were discussing, the bartender over by @Sreeya @Altaris @Faded would begin to slide out shot glasses and run the neck of the bottle over them.

Tequila spilling into the glass and running over a bit as the bartender would smile. "On the house. We appreciate the cause." as once or if they accepted the shot there would be another one already set for another round. Patrons of Sernpidal buying them rounds on the house to show their appreciation. The music would continue to thump and blare as the crowd mingled around and the warm night air would occasionally flow through the venue.

[Rainea Duannis]

Rainea chuckled awkwardly when the conversation actually started. It struck her that she hadn't actually talked to a non-droid for about a month and a half now. Things might get weird...ah well, if it happens, it happens. He seemed nice enough though, either through luck or the will of the Force, the conversation came pretty quickly to things she, at least, knew how to answer.
"Oh, well I tend to just hang around in the dark corners of the temples, which would still be pretty well-lit, Jedi like light, it's kind of our whole deal..." She trailed off, silent for a moment, only to suddenly croak out another hiccup. "Eep, sorry, but yeah, I know a lot of names, I just don't seek them out very often, as you can probably tell." She bumped her fist against her chest to try and get the hiccups out, she'd not dealt with them before so it was a new thing for her.

When the attention turned to the Padawan, Rainea offered a hand in greeting and another awkward smile. "Nice to meet you Padawan, who's your teacher?" She asked, best to just start simple, and work her way up. Then Lukas asked how the fight was going, and all thoughts of that just evaporated in her head. She looked over his shoulder, staring off into the distance. "It's...no idea. I've mainly been doing research for something that should help the war effort, but also help revive a lost civilization vicariously through their ship designs, beautiful too, capable of housing tens of thousands of people, more than any cruiser could nowadays, unless they made new ones recently, but I'm aiming to find some schematics or evidence of some kind to try and get an idea for building one of these ships, make a medical ship that can just cruise around the galaxy helping anyone that gets caught up in the fights anywhere at any time and I'm talking too much aren't I?"
