The Padawan noted the few Czerka security guards around the docking bays as he guided his gently used Undicur jumspeeder away from the ship hangars of Anchorhead. Levet figured the Czerka guards likely never left Anchorhead and left the defense of the town to the Citizen’s Militia. He did not give the corporate employees much more thought.
Levet was intending to meet with a moisture farmers’ and citizen’s militia group at Tosche Station. At least, that was the location the Mandalorian Jedi was trying to find on the desert planet of Tatooine. It was the teenager’s first time visiting the Outer Rim planet and he was doing his best to reserve his judgment.
The air was different and the dryness of the atmosphere was strange and going to take some getting used to. Levet was still used to the grassy hills, rolling plains and forested mountains of New Mandalore. A few rare visits to the other temples outside of Starlight Beacon or Brighthome were the only field trips the Padawan had in recent memory. All the same, the young Jedi in training tried to keep himself open to the Force and the world around him.
There was a strange calmness that the youth was a little too impatient and disoriented to notice at first. Mounting the jumpspeeder at the city’s edge, the Jedi sped off towards Tosche station. The flat landscape sped by but the distant plateaus and mountains barely moved in comparison. Soon enough the Vizsla Mando would come into view of the structure of Tosche station.
There were already a dozen or so people at the location inside or standing in the shadow of the building. Levet parked his borrowed jumpspeeder and walked towards the building. It would be cooler inside and better to hear if there was a plan to get this Doctor Tahn. The Padawan hoped there was a local who knew the land.
