Would anyone be interest in a Dungeons and Dragons Roleplay? We'd play by DND rules, not free RP.

Just DND. Might not be set in the Forgotten Realms though.

If it gets enough interest I'd be game.

Greyhawk is a good campaign setting. Or Dragonlance.

This will be impossible on a forum, here is a good website for hosting tabletop games online.

I'm interested I think. I'll need to see the setting first. It'll be my first d&d style game. Should be fun.

Joined to say I'm interested. But I gots some questions in this muh'.

1) I hear 3.5 is the noob-friendly version. Since this is my first actual DnD game, I'm newer than a factory-sealed copy of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.

2) Do all of our characters have to be human? I don't usually play human characters.

3) I was in a similar RP. It was like DnD but with freeform combat and no dice, numbers or "builds". I'll get some concepts, but not all of them. This isn't a question.

3.5 is only noob friendly if you have someone experienced with it to help you along and understand what's going on. It's the quintessential D&D experience as far as I'm concerned, though with the newest release of 5e it might finally have an edition to give it a run for its money.

4e is probably the most noob-centric edition of D&D - it's pretty much World of Warcraft with paper and pencil.

So I know I should wait till the setting is posted and all, but is there going to be a general alignment requirement of the group. EX: A all good, or all evil, or all neutral part requirement?

Was thinking of making a either lawful neutral or lawful evil merc. :P

4E is terribad. 3.5e is where most people are most familiar with, but 5E looks awfully easy to pick up - plus free online distribution is a nice added bonus.
