BIOGRAPHY
Born in the Planet Chardaan to parents that he never knew, Elidan spent the first years of his life at an orphanage. However, he was soon identified as a Force sensitive and the Jedi came to collect him. Since then, he lived at the Jedi Temple on Ajan Kloss. Even though he was considered shy, Elidan was a happy child, with him managing to make some friends among the other initiates. Life at the temple was good.
However, his life changed completely after the Sith attack on Ajan Kloss. Elidan was part of one of the last groups of younglings to escape the Temple. Before they could reach the transport, the group was intercepted by some Sith Acolytes. The boy, then eleven years old, watched all of his friends, the people he grew up with, get killed. He only managed to escape because a Jedi knight grabbed him and fled, while others stayed trying to delay the Dark Siders. As a result of this, Elidan was in shock, not responding to anything or anyone for some time.
Over time, Elidan began to recover from his shock. However, the traumatic experience at Ajan Kloss left deep marks. His shyness worsened, with him having difficulty interacting with other people that he didn't know. But the biggest effect of these events on him was that he developed selective mutism. The half-Annfyn was fully capable of speech and understanding language but was physically unable to do it, only being able to talk with those that he considered familiar, which were very few.
Even with his mutism and shyness, Elidan still continued to train to be a Jedi. Given the necessity of finding a way to communicate with others, he learned sign language. Elidan discovered that he felt more comfortable communicating with strangers through it. However, since not everyone can understand sign language, the boy carries a datapad, where he write what he wants to say in these cases.
Personality
Elidan is a kind and caring person, always willing to help others. However, due to his shyness and mutism, he finds it difficult to interact with others, especially with people of his own age. Due to his shyness, Elidan prefers to spend long hours alone, especially in the library.
Skills
Elidan is intelligent and creative, but due to his shyness he rarely exposes his opinions. Given his selective mutism, he decided to learn how to use sign language. His ability with a lightsaber is average for a padawan. Since he is young, the half-Annfyn still has much to learn about the Force.
