Theme

Due to its strong connections with the Force, the Jedi used Eonus as an outpost if they were feeling astray from their connection with the force, and often came to the Jedi Outpost on Eonus to recreate that connection, however; due to the severity of Eonus' climate, the Jedi went forth the abandon the outpost, leaving it to crumble as the years passed by. In the present day, Eonus is mostly abandoned apart from a few Mining Corporations who utilize the planets rich Chromium veins, however the planet is also a hotspot for archaeologists and treasure hunters due to the potential lost Jedi Artifacts.

Climate and Terrain

Often described as 'The Jungle Maze', Eonus is sprawling with a vast composure of Rainforests and Jungles that cover the planets surface. These types of terrains provide a home for the many species that live on the planet, such as Reeks and Acklays. Due to the hostile creatures that reside on the planet, Eonus is not a very hospitable planet. The planet hosts one larger body of water which is commonly referred to as 'The Great Lake', which is named as so due to it being a body of water which sources all of its water from the heavy rainfall. 'The Great Lake' is rumored to hold a regional variant of the Aiwha, but this is commonly attributed as an urban legend.

Due to Eonus' constant state of Thunder and Rainstorms, the planets average temperature for its Daylight Hours is about 3 degrees Celsius and through the night, the planet usually drops to a temperature of about -10 degrees Celsius. The intensity of the planets storms vary from a calming downpours of heavy rain to massive thunderstorms, but they never stop. Some who have visited the planet say that the constant rain is the tears of a force entity that once inhabited the planet, but who is to know for sure.

North Peaks Mining Facility
Located on the shore of The Great Lake, the North Peaks Mining Facility (NPMF) has established a branch for mining Eonus' rich Chromium veins. The facility is top of the line and has been specifically constructed in order to deal with the harsh climate of the planet. While the company is not hiring at this point in time, there are rumors that they plan to expand to other areas of the planet.

Jedi Outposts (Multiple)
The Jedi Outposts that are sprawled across the planet have been shown to hold ancient secrets that were known by the Jedi Order, whether these are ancient Force scriptures or even diplomatic documents on nearby planets, these Jedi Outposts are troves of crucial information on the galaxy.

The Great Lake
The primary body of water on Eonus, The Great Lake is mysterious as it is vast. This lake is not only a gorgeous sight when the rain is lighter but also serves as the main source of water for the entire planet.

Vrit Caverns
This landmark initially brought the Jedi to Eonus, these Caverns are home to many ancient relics from a time long past, and has a heavy force presence. It was rumored that when the Jedi were on Eonus they would take a pilgrimage to the deepest point of the Vrit Caverns in order to retune themselves with the force. The journey however is harsh and once deep enough the air becomes filled with toxins making it dangerous to navigate.

Intent

My intent for this planet is to create a planet that gives people the opportunity to explore an almost empty planet for reasons such as Archaology, adventure or even for the challenge of hunting the creatures that inhabit it for game. This world is free to be explored and also presents the opportunity for more mining resources to be uncovered that can be utilized for future RPs by the NPMF. I also plan to use it to start of my RP Story Saga.

So, there are a couple of things that jump out at me about this planet that I would like to address:
  1. Rainforests: At the risk of sounding a tad too nerdy, rainforests wouldn't be able to exist on this planet. While 3 degrees Celsius (37 degrees Fahrenheit) is reasonable, -10 degrees below (14 degrees Fahrenheit) is not. Rainforests mostly crop up in tropical zones, but, in some rare instances, they appear in temperate climate zones. At minimum, a temperate climate only reaches about 31 degrees Fahrenheit—and that's even during the coldest winters. In short, rainforests wouldn't be able to survive on this planet due to the freezing temperatures, which are only barely temperate during the day and not at all during the night.
  2. Animal life: Acklays and reeks are problematic for the same reason as rainforests. Acklays are plains animals who survive on a world of harsh sunlight, Vendaxa. The constant storms and cold would be completely detrimental to their existence on this planet. Similarly, reeks are native to Ylesia, which is a much more temperate world.
  3. Jedi presence: Lastly, I'd get with the Jedi Faction Leader before designating this world a (former) Jedi enclave world. There are already plenty of planets that are Force-attuned and have Jedi backgrounds, and I don't really see a need to throw this one into the mix—especially since it doesn't seem to be all that important in the planet's history or to anything else other than to say: there were Jedi here. So, check with them first, see what they have to say, and then make any adjustments they would suggest.
Get these issues sorted out and then let me know; I'll review it again from there.
