Having be allowed within the territory of the Great Canyon Clan, sat Eithni on one of the clifts with an overview of a large portion of the Great Canyon within her view, humming Twinkle Twinkle Little Witch lullaby. It was a very known lullaby within the Nightsister clans and one a lot of elder Nightsister sang for the children of the clans. As Eithni was sitting, humming to herself, she sat and contemplated the journey and adventure she had been on. The people she had met, gotten to know over her life as she was growing up in the galaxy, both the good and the bad.

The experience of having her heart broken, something very foreign to the younger version of Eithni. It did take a long time for her to get over Sakadi, however, Sumas stayed by her side through her heartbroken time. But despite having her heart ripped out and crushed to thousand pieces, was Sakadi Eithni's first. Eithni did wonder from time to time, what her other adoptive mother, Eva stark did or how she was doing. It had been 20 years give or take since Eithni had seen the chieftain of House Stark and the Nightsister had to remind herself to visit her mother at some point.

The reason Eithni hadn't seen her other mother for so long, because it was time for her to finally time for her to take the role of soon-to-be Matriarch role serious. The only person Eithni actually has been holding a connection to was Kalanda, the Sith who finally turned Nightsister, so one could argue that Kalanda didn't count. But Eithni didn't care, Kalanda was special to the woman and while Eithni had never truly said that she loved Kalanda, not in the way that they do in those holomovies Kalanda had shown her when they both were bored. With that said, Eithni did see kalanda as her significant other, after all the adventures and journeys they had taken together.

Thinking back, she remembered all the fun and amazing people she had met, not to mention gaining friends from the most unlikely places. Hask was one of them, the red Sith man who taught her to fly. Or Mid, the other red-skinned Sith who helped her find her first lightsaber crystal, which she, funnily enough, called a glowstick.

Thinking back when she got her first crystal, her thoughts went to Zandrali, who later took the title Valravus when she got promoted to a Darth. Despite being a Sith, considered Eithni Zandrali as one of her closest friend of her friends, even if Zandrali wasn't among the living anymore.

The days of the Sith Empire were long gone. Kalanda was free of that past, free of the shackles of her old life, and had found something far more gratifying on this world she had once found so intolerable. The years had been difficult to say the least, but Kalanda had someone very near and dear to her. Mid was out of her life, in fact the only person within that old organization she still cared for was Amur, and she would have to visit her dear friend soon. Until then, she would remain by Eithni's side, watching as she took on the role of chieftain of the nightsisters. It had been a crazy and turbulent journey, but Kalanda had finally felt genuinely happy for the first time in years. Over time. The sisters began to see her as one of their own, and any hint that Kalanda might have been a nightsister had long since past.

She had tracked Eithni out into this land, though she wasn't sure how the Canyon Clan would take her intrusion, and frankly Kalanda didn't care. If that happened, she'd deal with it, the only person she considered her equal was Eithni. She could sense the woman was near, and it just felt right to repeat what Eithni had done to her over twenty years ago.

"Rancors asleep amidst the trees
Bats all a swaying in the breeze."

She started, nearing the woman's location, as Kalanda's voice would carry up to Eithni, as she would being to jump and climb her way up to the woman. She grinned as she recalled the song from memory.

"But one soul lies anxious wide awake
Fearing all manner of ghouls, hags and wraiths
For your dolly, Polly sleep has flown
Don't dare let her tremble alone
For the Siths, heartless, cold
Paid in greed of power
He comes, he'll go
Leave naught behind
But heartache and woe
Deep, deep woe."

She continued on, as she paused upon reaching a break in the climb, her brown robes fluttering as the wind caught her gown. Kalanda leapt up, used her strength to push off of the rock before levitating up and setting down the the edge of the cliff. Having reached her lover, she would approach Eithni, still singing, as she would sit down and wrap her arms around the woman.

"Birds are silent for the night
Cows turned in as daylight dies
But one soul lies anxious wide awake
Fearing all manner of ghouls, hags and wraiths
My dear dolly Polly shut your eyes
Lie still, lie silent, utter no cries
As the Siths, brave and bold
Paid in greed of power

He'll chop and slice you
Cut and dice you
Eat you up whole..."

She paused, leaning close and kissing Eithni on the lips, arms hugging the woman tightly, as she briefly paused her song. She grinned to Eithni, her hands dropping down to the woman's hips and she gave Eithni a tight squeeze.
"Eat you whole~..." She snickered, pulling Eithni against her as they had the ravine to look upon. "What brings my little witch this far out in the world?" Kalanada asked, she knew what was on Eithni's mind, but she wanted to ask rather than just bring it up. Eithni didn't have to say she loved her, Kalanda already knew it, and she felt exactly the same.

The sound of the wind bringing the familiar Nightsister lullaby made Eithni stop her humming, smiling to herself. It made her think back to their first meeting, twenty years or so ago, how to time flew by. The woman already knew who was coming, feeling the presence in the force and as the singing got closer, joined Eithni in on her lover's little song.

The woman leaned into her lover, her Kala, humming along to the lullaby song and returned the passionate kiss from Kalanda. Eithni grew never tired of Kalanda's love or her passion, it almost fueled the Nightsister woman. Feeling Kalanda's hands on her hips, made Eithni chuckle, grabbing her lover's hand before the woman got any bright ideas of tickling. Eithni was still very ticklish and she knew Kalanda was just as bad if not worse at being tickled as many passionate nights could easily turn into a battle of tickling.

"thoughts mostly," replied Eithni as she looked from Kalanda and back at the great valley of the canyon they were surrounded by. "But also because I've always been drawn to the Rancors here, ever since as young" explained Eithni, moving her hand up the Kalanda's cheek, caressing it without looking. "But what about you my Kala, couldn't live without me, or didn't the elders talk your ears off again?" Asked the blond-haired Nightsister, giving Kalanda a teasing smirk. Jokes aside, there was some truth to it about the elders, as ever since kalanda official became a sister in the clan, have the elders almost dragged poor Kalanda to listen to them as the former Sith had a lot to learn of the Nightsisters.

"I'm sure they're asking for you right as we speak" teased Eithni, followed it with a kiss to the cheek.

Kalanda smiled as Eithni seemed to predict her next move, grabbing her hand before Kalanda could escalate things. "You always did have a fondness for the Rancors. Can't say I'm surprised." She let herself set against Eithni, as the pair merely enjoyed the landscape out before them, the former Sith snickered as Eithni caressed the side of her face, which was soon followed by a kiss. "You know I can't go long without my Nini by my side." She replied, turning to face her lover, knowing that this one woman had forever altered her life during their chance encounter so many years ago. "They can ask all they want, I've wasted enough time in their company and not enough time with you. They'll have to come and drag me back themselves." She stated, marveling at how the passage of time had worked it's magic upon the two of them. Eithni was to be made the leader of her clan soon, with Kalanda at her side, that did raise certain questions about what their future would bring. She and Eithni were an item, certainly so, but the traditions that Kalanda grew up with didn't seem to apply to the sisters nor the clan. "If you're concerned about taking on the mantle of leadership, don't be. You're going to do just fine Nini." Kalanda affirmed, setting her free hand on the woman's knee. "And as always, I'll be right at your side."

The days of the Sith felt like a distant dream, all that pain and suffering she had undergone was but a dull pain in her chest at times. The nightmares had stopped about ten years ago, and now they occurred perhaps once or twice a year now. At times she could still recall the burning of her homeworld, but she had learned to move past it. What had happened to her was wrong, but no amount of hate or destruction that she could reign down would matter. The past couldn't be changed, but it could be learned from. The Sith Empire had died due to it's own hands, it's own greed had gotten the better of it. The galaxy might have been lit on fire right now, but that wouldn't affect how happy she truly felt in these moments; even though her fellow sisters were trying to drive her insane. But life was good, in fact it had never been better.

Leaning into Kalanda, made Eithni sigh in delight and relaxation, while the distant roaring of rancors filled the valley. "I guess the realization of actually soon being the matriarch never really stuck with me when I was younger". By the Fanged God, was Eithni not thinking about Matriarchal as she must rather want to explore and experience everything she could than stay home forever. In fact, Eithni became less energetic with the years and more matured as she has aged, while not all of her spark had disappeared, she was in a lot more control manner than she was when she was a teenager.

"In fact, they are most likely is going to make me matriarch within the next few days, despite trying to hide it from me" commented the Nightsister witch to her lover, "and guess I'm ready, I did spend most of the last twenty years to get ready for the time when it would arrive" added Eithni and closed her eyes to listen to the wind singing it's natural melody.

"Don't think there will be much longer before you are out of the initiation ranking" said Eithni, as Kalanda had been an initiate for quite a time now. A younger female voice came behind them, "Sister Eithni, Clan Mother wants to see you, and the elders are looking for you Sister Kalanda" said another initiate, however unlike Kalanda, was this an actual Dathomirian Nightsister girl, not much older than fourteen years of age.

Looking over her shoulder, Eithni nodded to the messenger, letting the girl know that they got the message. Watching as the Nightsister girl gave them a smile and a wave before returning back to the village, getting back with ease from the rock platform.

Looking back to Kalanda, "we better get back" said the blond-haired woman, "but first," smirked Eithni and pulled Kalanda to her while laying down on the rock with the ex-sith on top of her. Eithni wrapped her arms around Kalanda and pressed her eager lips to Kalanda's, completely immersed in the dancing of the flesh between her lover and herself.

Just before she had aged up, had her lust and love for her Kala, never been able to be satisfied fully. Seeing that it's been a few days since they last enjoyed each other fully, seemed this as good as any, being alone for miles in the Great Canyon.

They had both gotten old, there was no denying it. Kalanda could feel it in her bones at times, but she was still relatively young and Eithni hadn't graced forty yet. It was a tad funny listening to the girl lament about becoming the new clan head in the days to come. "I never thought I'd be living out my days with the most beautiful woman in the galaxy, and yet, here I am." Kalana commented, coiling her arm around her lover tightly. "You'll do just fine, you've spent your entire life leading up to this. This role was meant for you Nini." She smiled, resting her chin on the top of her head.

She chuckled as Eithni informed her that her time as an intiate might soon be at an end. "I certainly hope so. It's rather tiresome having to put the younger women down time and time again." She commented, knowing that aside from all the annoying moments from her inital years in the clan, it was most certainly worth it. Kalana didn't grace the intruder with her attention, as she move to let Eithni address her instead. "Well they can continue to wait, I can have a moment to myself thank you very much." She rebutted, feeling bad for the message the woman was going to deliver to the elders, but Kalanda cared not for the crones; they seemed to try and torment her more often than not. The intruder finally left, causing Kalanda to let out a wary sigh. "I miss the old days, we could wander about and do what we pleased." She chuckled, looking to her precious person to her left and grinning. Eithni must have agreed, as she seized the Sith and pulled her onto her. Kalanda giggled into the lip lock, as she knew just what Eithni was plotting now. Her arms seized Eithni's wrists, as she pinned the woman to the rock, pulling out of the kiss just to gaze upon the woman, her green eyes aglow with mischief. "We're going to upset the elders, they'll be waiting for a fair bit you know." Kalanda didn't care about that though, if this was so important the old crones could hobble themselves up here to see them. Kalanda snickered at the thought of such an ordeal, it would be something the pair could laugh at for years to come. She loosened her grip on Eithni's wrists, knowing what was soon to follow as she did so. They were both going to get an earful for being late this time, but it was worth it.

With the quality time spent on the rock platform, was indeed well spent as the symphony of pleasure spread far and wide from the two lovers, carrying by the wind.

About an hour or two had passed before Eithni had to insist that they went back and before they knew it, they were walking away from the great canyon and heading for the vast jungle-forest. With her arm around Kalanda's, they walked through the jungle, enjoying the peace and quiet they were getting, before getting back. "Can't believe the pirates still insist on trying to make a base near our village, you would think they learned the first three times we chased them off-planet," comment Eithni as she looked up towards the sky, seeing another ship entered the atmosphere.

Their clan haven't figured out why the pirates kept coming back or why they even wanted to form a base of operation, as there wasn't any valuables or minerals to mine. Even if there were minerals to mine for them, they had no heavy construction equipment to even start mining. Not to mention, they would never be allowed to get that far, even if they did by the clan's sentries.

After, maybe half an hour of walking, to around three-quarters of an hour, later and they finally entered the village and was greeted by a couple of very young Dathomirian girls, playing a game of fetch. The moment they neared the centre of the village, was they met with a bunch of old cranky women, namely the elders of the village. "We should have known you were with Sister Eithni, Initiate," said one of the elders really annoyed with Kalanda's disappearing, again. "You are coming straight with us, young lady!" commanded another elder and one by one they were all over her, pulling Kalanda away from Eithni who just stood grinning over the situation with a single hand on her hip.

It looked rather comical as they short elders forced Kalanda to follow them back into the hut-house to continue the lessons along with the other Initiates who comically was so much younger than Kalanda.

Despite Kalanda's attempts to delay it, Eithni eventually won the argument that they needed to get back. So, with much reluctance, that's what they were going to do. Hand in hand, they would begin the trek back to the village. Something above seemed to catch Eithni's attention, as she looked upwards at something coming into the atmosphere. "Well, if the pirates do try again, it'll give us some entertainment for the next month." She replied, squeezing Eithni's hand as they walked along the path. It was always fun to torment the pirates after all, Eithni in particular took delight in tormenting the poor criminals with her rancor impersonations.

When they reached the outskirts, Kalanda could only brace for what was to occur, as she squeezed Eithni's hand for comfort; it wasn't 'that' bad, but it was certainly annoying. Kalanda scowled as the elders made themselves known, reigning down a torment of tongue lashing as they came into view. Kalanda gave Eithni a look that screamed 'help me', as she was pulled away by the witches. She didn't want to put up with this, but she had long since learned how to tolerate the elders and their droning. As Kalanda was slowly covered by her fellow nightsisters, she knew Eithni was enjoying watching her lover be lectured into the next century. Being dragged away, Kalanda was forced into the hut, as there was yet another long winded lecturing on the basics of the ichor and it's powers once again. Hopefully Eithni would have more fun than she was about to have.
