This thread is in continuation of the Quermia Prison Break.

Imperial shuttles landed quietly during the midnight hours, several trooper regimens descended to reinforce the ranks soiled in the prison outbreak. There was obviously chaos as Imperial intelligence was attempt to piece together the string of events that had transpired. Oddly enough though, ISB had contacted Roman to handle the follow up personally along with his own Imperial Operatives. Roman was clad in his durasteel armor as always, face hidden behind the terror inspiring helm as he exited from the shuttle and went through a cascade of secured Prison doors to gain entry into the fortified compound. Alongside him was his squad Lieutenant, Coffey Curran as well as several IFL troopers.

He moved first into the security surveillance room, a palpable radiance of his dark force energies leaked through into the corridor. It was an attempt at distinguishing any raw or drastic emotions from those surrounding him. As of yet, Roman had no idea whether this was an inside job or external affairs only. Approaching the security commander, a mechanized voice echoed out. "I'd like to see all surveillance footage. Any witnesses.."

"The admissions secretary saw most of the events unfold. She has not yet been debriefed, we were waiting on you, Sir."

"Bring her in.." Roman said, motioning towards Coffey. "Have you brushed up with your investigative skills, Lieutenant?"

Lieutenant Coffey Curran stood a few paces behind the Sith, softly scratching his chin Sith his pointer finger and his thumb. The gears in his mind were already running, he was trying now to just think all the possible reasons for why this had happened. The two masculine droids with him were towards htis flanks while the medical droid was behind him.

"Well, sir, I gotta say that as a unit we are mighty fine. If ya want we can even handle that interrogation for ya." The dirty copper colored protocol droid spoke. The model this droid was old, obviously, yet it spoke and moved with such life it even beat some 3P0 units in disguising its age. The southern drawl of the droid was unique, but fitting as it moved. Somehow the walk cycle and the movements of Ru-10 made the whole cowboy visage work.

"Ru-10 and I are programmed to work well as the 'good cop bad cop combo's while Saftey is programmed with knowledge of various drugs and their effects on the human body. This would be advantageous in an interrogation room." The large 501-Z droid said, the light from above shining off its chromed chassis. Yet that did not detract from the menacing oscillating sensor light it had, moving back and forth across its face. Unlike its comrads, it held its blaster rifle out in the open, ready to shoot anyone that moved. Yet, even with the crew around him, Coffey didn't speak, he simply nodded to the Sith as the droids spoke for him.

Two Imperial guards did indeed bring in the poor Quermian secretary. Although, perhaps "poor" wasn't quite the right word. Although she was dressed like your typical grandmother/librarian - with horn-rimmed glasses, a long neck - even for a Quermian, and a garish-looking petticoat - she nonetheless carried herself with an air of dignity. In fact, she looked so haughty that the two Imperial guards seemed hesitant to place hands on her, content, as it was, to simply lead her to the Sith before them.

"Hmph! I've had better service from a Hutt waiter." the secretary sniffed.

"Erm...sorry...sirs, this is the secretary. Says she saw everything. What went down in the prison, I mean." the first guard said nervously as they presented the Quermian to them.

"Security camera footage is completely fried from the fire." the other guard chimed in.

Roman scoffed with a look of annoyance which was completely hidden underneath the durasteel helmet, seemingly irritated by the guard's response to the inquiry on surveillance footage. "Of course it was.." A mechanized voice spoke, shifting his attention back towards the Secretary as she was led into the room. The force palpated around the champion, creating an eerie cold that precipitated into the interrogation quarters. He lifted his armored hand, motioning for the droids to be at ease at this time.

"I'm sure we won't be requiring such measures just yet, Lieutenant..." He spoke, grabbing a seat for himself across from the woman. His armored fingertips slowly tapped on the wooden desk surface, "Greetings Ms. Secretary. I applaud you for being able to survive such an ordeal. I am sure you were not fully prepared to deal with such a chaotic event as a break in to our facility.."

He paused for a moment, tilting his head into an arrogant angle. "Can you tell me in detail what happened?"

The droids all zoomed their Optics in on the new being. Their tall, pale neck with a small head onto amused Ru-10, yet he suppressed those feelings. He sat back and watched the situation, before walking off for a near by meal preparation area. His droid brain knew that with the way she held herself the only way to get her to talk was either utterly breaking her... or befriending her. He found a cup and made her a nice cup of tea (atleast the best he could with what he had). His servos softly wired as he walked back to the entrance. By then Lieutenant Curran had offered the secretary a seat and pulled up a table, this was a typical Class D information drill, as Ru-10 had offered the cup to the alien.
"Tea?" The droid cocked his head softly to the right as he pulled up his own seat, one hand resting on the back rest as he sat in it backwards. He made sure to sound as pleasant and respectful as possible, if he were a human he would have even flashed a kind smile.

"Hmmph...that's more like it." the secretary sniffed as she took the proffered tea.

"It's quite like I've told your soldiers before if they weren't too buffoonish to pay attention to what an old lady has to say. There I was minding my own business when an Ishi Tib gentleman came in. I can't really tell the ages of those birdlizards so I don't know how old he was but I do remember him having a lot of scars on his face and body. I asked him for his visitor's pass, he waved his arms at me and said I didn't need to see it! Can you imagine that?" the secretary said, as if she was recounting a time someone had been rude to her in the supermarket versus relaying the details of a prison break to a couple of Sith.

"I told the man that yes, he very much did need to show me his visitor's pass and then he said that he was trying to become a guard. His behavior did strike me as a bit odd but from the way he carried himself, he seemed like he'd make a decent guard so I sent him to Captain Kazim. I figured he could deal with him." the secretary concluded.

"I'm not sure what else happened after that. I heard the alarm go off and I evacuated the building like protocol dictates. I'm over 3 centuries years old you know. I'm not about to trade fisticuffs with rioting prisoners! And I should hope the Empire doesn't expect me to!"

The droid nodded along with the secretary as she spoke, his audio receptors careful to record this data for later. It seemed this man had this all planned out: infiltrate the Captains office and somehow overpower him. That part anyone could try, yet knowledge of the internal systems required some sort of previous knowledge or inside source. Did they have an inside source? Or was the offender potentially an ex imployee? Or... was this a long term plan where someone was stationed here to gain inside knowledge to carry this plan out? Ru-10 had filed this information away for later, now he had but one more question. Before then, he found a data pad near by and a stylis, to find this subject they had to have an image to use as reference.

"Now... if I may, may I have every detail you remember of the perpetrator? Even the smallest detail can help us find them." His drawl was slow and soft, his vocabulator somewhat quieter and more reassuring. He made sure to sound as kind and pleasant as possible, he did not wish to upset this woman.

Roman lofted a brow as she spoke, "Ishi Tib? In this part of the galaxy?..." The Champion asked, somewhat confused but also surprised at her description of the creature. He chuckled lightly as she described her age and her decision to follow protocol during riots. None of which was surprising, the armored Sith nodding his head. "No of course, you took the proper course of action.." His mechanized voice rang forth in a slow and monotone pronunciation.

Roman turned slightly to one of the droids. "Search through the archives for any notable Ishi-Tibs. Jedi, Syndicate operatives, or even free lance bounty hunters...." He asked, and listened patiently as the secretary would respond to Coffey's line of questioning.

"Like I said, I can't tell Ishi Tib apart. He was dressed like a tourist, I suppose. And shorter than me but, then again, most sentients are. And scars. He had rather a lot of them." The secretary told Coffey when asked to describe the Ishi Tib further. The archive droid patiently waited for her to finish before revealing to Roman what he had found.

There were no Sith records of any notable Syndicates Ishi Tib operatives although there were quite a few Ishi Tib bounty hunters and mercenaries. Narrowing the search towards one with notable bounties and/or over a million credits earned the past year only produced two individuals and one was currently serving a life sentence while the other was missing, presumed dead.

As for Jedi, there was one of note. A certain Drow Venn. There were records of him serving with a mercenary company for a number of years before joining the Jedi Order and the Sith had even captured him at one point on Kessel. Venn had fought in a number of significant Jedi battles including Sullust, Ossus, and Byblos. Although something had seemingly happened over the years because no Sith spies or records seemed to suggest that he was still a part of the Jedi Order. A banishment perhaps? Or maybe a schism within the Order. Either way, he was still making waves in the galaxy, as Darth Caelistis had reported encountering Venn on Carajam. The Ishi Tib had killed several Sith soldiers there and had dueled the former Sith Councilor to a draw.
