"Never announce your moves before you make them."

Lenix peered down intently at a small iridescent screen on her data-pad. The screen showed two aliens, a pale blue Pantoran and a white and brown furred Gotal. The pair seemed to be examining a recent haul and their agitated movements told Lexi they weren't coming to an agreement. She reached over and put her headphones on. The voices of the two aliens came across her head set, "—Nyeah, I don't think that's fair!" came the gruff voice of the Gotal.

"Please, Drull. You can't possibly think your little distraction was worth more that a third of the haul can you?" asked the Pantoran in a heavy inner core accent. The hair on the gotal ruffled visibly as it began to anger.

"Without MY little distraction, Krill, the snatch and grab would have been impossible. So, yes I think my crew deserves a better cut!" snapped Drull.

Krill glared at Drull for a moment before relenting, "Fine, I'll throw in an extra five percent, but that's it! Not another chit, got it?!" The pantoran's pale blue skin had darkened significantly as he'd spoken giving him a very ominous air. Krill carried the presence of a man that enjoyed removing trouble with a blaster bolt rather than words. He was clearly done with the Gotal's games. Drull had unconsciously moved a pace away from Krill. He hesitated for a moment, then nodded in agreement. The two shook hands and then Drull hailed two droids to begin gathering his cut of the haul.

Lenix leaned forward squinting in an attempt to make out the smuggled goods, but she couldn't manage it. There were definitely weapons in the cache, but there were other items that looked... weird, no, they looked old. Like really old. What did that mean? Please don't let this be bigger than I thought... she thought as she closed the datapad and looked out the window of her stolen landspeeder.

Lenix looked to the sky and gauged how much daylight she had left. Just over four hours. "Frak..." she mumbled to herself. There was no way she was going to be able to get the drop on the stupid goat dude now. She sat back in her seat and sighed. "What's their next move?" she said. There was no one to hear her of course. Lenix had seen to that. Her argument with Damon may have started this mission, but Lenix's determination was going to see it through to the end. She needed to do a little poking around. Maybe something would crop up in the nearest town.

Resolving that her only option was to drum up some information Lenix fired up the landspeeder's repulsers and shot off toward town.

There was something very wrong about this situation, why did he feel this way? Maybe he was beginning to understand the nature of this force, the new Sith acolyte been reading up and taking his lessons like every other Sith. He unlike others though had to look over his shoulders more as he was getting the interested of the Dark lord of the Sith, something that has caused a number of students surrounding him to try and get at him. Leaving Asher with a few bruises and excuses for why some student was no longer showing up for practices. Not something that was common among the Sith, but Asher had read their history or at least some of it, the writing wasn't very interesting. But from what he had learned infighting used to be more common and active competition was encouraged now though it wasn't so. And too the Annoo-Dat that seemed wrong, if the dark side was powered by anger, rage and passion's and only the strong should have it, then the only way to weed out the weak is to force everyone to battle for ever step of the way. Maybe not out right attacking of other sith but, not this dancing around one another.

That was for politicians and cowards, the Dark Side seems to demand blood and power, so it should be given just that not this smile and love one another poddo. But here he was on Ossus trying to learn more about the Sith, about their history and what it means to have the dark side. The Jedi once claimed this world, another subject he needed to catch up on. What was with the whole Jedi vs Sith thing, totally need to just wipe them out and end this stupid war quickly less likely to suffer defeats that way. Though Asher would wait until he had more control of things before he gets involved with that, unless of course Darth Cain asks him too, which that way he didn't have much say over.

"Damn Cain and his power." Asher said as he looked over some old transcript over some ability, something about draining the enemies life force though the dark side.

Sounded interesting and probably he would dig more into that later, for now though Asher could feel someone coming closer this small town had a few Sith and dark side adepts studying and learning what they can. It wasn't a true Sith temple but the planet was strong in the force and so they brought many items and relics of importance away from the eyes of adversaries.

"Acolyte, come now." The Annoo-Dat growled softly hoping not to draw attention to it, he hated that he was seen as a tool, just like his days on Nar Shadda, he needed power quickly so he could crush those that looked down on him.

Asher walked with the old smelly man, not out of devotion or respect because he needed to prove himself to Cain, even if he hated the man. Asher knew if he got on Cain's good side maybe he can get better training and more respect. But for now he needed to play the game, be patient and ready to strike when he can. But it seemed the old man was worried, maybe scared even whatever it was most not be good, yet if it gave Asher a chance to show himself off he could use this, and the more it made full Sith unwilling to touch it the greater the reward.

"Someone has taken some of the relics and artifacts, most of which were meant to be studied. And this needs to be fixed now, that is where you come along. Acolyte you need to get it back or else, whoever is taking them can't be that far off. Once you find the return the relics return them and I may put a good word in for you." Asher slowly began to use his brain, if he could somehow take these relics from the old geezer and take it to the Dark lord Asher might be able to get some favor from him.

He had a pistol and his shotgun and was good for a fight, in this small town he might be able to get a speeder. His time on Nar Shadda taught him that the underbelly of any town is where he needed to go. Maybe shake some skulls or flash a few bolts in the air and eventually someone will say something. And so here he was heading to the tavern going to get what he needed to get the prize.

The silhouette of the military outpost caused Lenix to sit up and slow down. She pulled her "borrowed" landspeeder over to the side of the tightly packed dirt road and pulled a pair of macro-binoculars from the passenger seat. She peered through the binoculars and took note of the structures ahead of her.

"How am I gonna get in there?" she asked. No one answered. She was alone in this. Lenix lowered the binoculars and bit her lower lip as she started going numerous ways she could get into the outpost. Her conclusion; I should have joined the the fraking SBZ....

Lenix decided waiting until cover of night was her best bet. Besides she needed to give her little camera a few hours to catch up. Lenix hopped back into the landspeeder and moved the vehicle further from the main road. She found a decent out cropping of dense forest and parked the speeder there. She wished she had her speederbike. Land speeders were all fine and good, but the exhilaration she got from punching the throttle on her bike was like nothing else.

It was a warm day and the heat from the earth below the parked landspeeder began to make the young smuggler drowsy. Lenix attempted to fight her exhaustion, but it wasn't happening. After a few minutes she laid down across the landspeeders bench seat and in a few moments was fast asleep.

A soft nudge started to pull her from her slumber. A high pitched squeal finished the job. Sitting up with a jolt Lenix scrambled for her stun gun letting expletives fly as her only defense from the intruder. Through her panic she failed to recognize the familiar domed shape of her attacker.

"Stay back you dirty sithspit sucking—" she was interrupted by an impatient chortle. Oh, Beeper! Thank the force. she sighed as she allowed her sleep addled mind to catch up.

It was only then that she realized the sun had sank well below the horizon and darkness was sweeping across the land. Looking to the little N-10 astromech she said, "It's a good thing you came along when you did. I probably would've slept through the night." The droid opened it's hatch and produced a small plug.

"Here, I'll take that for ya." she plugged the little droid into the landspeeders auxiliary power amp.

"How's that?" Lenix asked. The droid seemed to hum with appreciation. She couldn't help but chuckle at the droids little warble.

"Rest up little buddy, I'm sure I'll need you later." she turned her gaze to the now illuminated outpost. "It's my turn to get to work." she patted the droids domed shell and then grabbed her backback. She removed her repulserboots from the bag and put them on. She checked the charge on her stun gun's charge pack and pocketed her second power pack. Better to be safe than sorry. Lenix powered on the boots and took off toward the out post. At her current speed she'd make it there in a matter of minutes. Hopefully, she hadn't missed the information she was after.

Asher had gone to the tavern and knew that there was only a few ways to get people to open up, for their benefit or too keep themselves from getting hurt. So without much credits or anything to give the people here he could only use the other method. To threaten and so the acolyte showed a few people the end of the barrel of a shotgun, out of dozens of people it almost seemed like no one knew what happened. Till he managed to get the one person in that entire drunken filled place to have heard a rumor about a bunch of smugglers going after Sith relics. And with that Asher made sure to reward the man with a glass of water, though it went in his face rather then in his system. Now Asher was driving to the nearest outpost hoping to get some scanner readings to maybe figure out where these smugglers maybe.

Walking out of the tavern and into the nearest guard station, Asher made sure to inform the security officers that their ride was being *borrowed*. At least he will once he returns and they stopped drinking for him to be able to tell them. For now though he was flying to the nearest outpost, flying though the woods though he could have swear he saw a sleeping person or maybe dead who knows. But he flow to the outpost quickly and landed at the entrance of the outpost, beginning to walk to the base.

There was a whole lot of soldiers and seemed to be on alert but nothing that would suggest they also knew about any stolen relics. He hated being a tool in this society and didn't like being just a acolyte, he knew realistically he had to start at the beginning but he is ambitious and wanted more. And right now he didn't have that, what he got was just being told what to do by a old man who saw Asher as nothing more then a simpleton.

He walked into the security building and started checking the scanners to see what he could find, though also to the right of him was a few screens that showed the base and anyone that walked in. In case anyone had a idea of walking in that didn't belong.

The wind whipped through Lenix's hair as her repulsorboots silently carried her forward. When she reached the half way point he circled the outpost and positioned herself on the darkest side. Once she was in place, Lenix turned hard toward the outpost propelling herself forward with the momentum gained from her turn. As she narrowed the gap between herself and the outpost she began to count. There was a finite distance her recreational boots could boost her and, if she timed this maneuver wrong she'd be as good as a bug on a windshield. There was no time to second guess her plan of attack. She was out of time and needed answers.

"...19, 20!" she exclaimed as she switched off the boots, brought both legs together, and bent her knees as if preparing to jump. When she was a meter from the ground Lenix ignited both repulserboots at full power! The boots came on and as they did she jumped. The boots launched her skyward. After landing atop the rampart, Lenix, breathed a sigh of relief, then hopped no one had seen her face... she was positive she would have looked like a lunatic. She pulled her binoculars from her bag and scanned the area carefully. She needed to get off this wall, but the last thing she wanted to do was alert entire outpost to her existence.

She spotted an empty alley and decided to drop down. Once safely on the ground she removed her repulsorboots and put on her normal ones. Lenix pulled her toolbelt from her pack and strapped to her waist. "That feels better." she murmured to herself as she adjusted the belt. Assorted tools filled the pockets and situated at the base of her lower back rested her beloved, Pookie. Reflexively she reached for her gun, but she stayed her hand. Nothing would alert the forces at the base faster than her brandishing a blaster as she moved about. Lenix took a deep breath and then let it out slowly.

I can do this! she told herself. Emboldened, Lenix confidently stepped out of the shadows and directly in front of a patrol unit.

"Hold it right there!" came the robotic voice of the patrol. Lenix hung her head and put her hands into the air. "I give up..." The patrol officer moved forward removing her backpack, tool belt an her precious Pookie. He then roughly handcuffed her and escorted her to the detention center. Frank me...

The base was meant for robots, and those willing to sacrifice niceties for duty. That was something Asher wasn't. The list of complaints were endless, the outpost didn't have a good enough heater, and the stations were meant for small people. Technically human's were average size but they were small to him. It was bothering how he needed to bend over and put his face dangerously close to the screen to read it. And as he picked up the reading about ships having landed without checking in to any of the spaceports Asher felt like he had something. But sadly it wasn't enough and incomplete, scans could only do so much when its a planet wide search.

But he didn't have a whole lot of options and continued to look though report after report. That was when the guard to his right started laughing, it was short and once it ended the faceless soldier returned to being emotionless. With a glare the Annoo-Dat looked at the man, no longer bending forward and standing at his full 8 foot height. The acolyte's face was pissed and it demanded answers, but it seemed the soldier wasn't looking or caring about the overgrown lizard right next to him. 'At least he wasn't a space racist like others he knew.' So the acolyte decided to do the whole fake cough routine to get the man's attention.

It seemed to have done the trick because the soldier turned to face the Sith-in-training with a confused look. Before putting two and two together and realizing the Sith was curious as to the reason for the soldier's laugh.

"Here look." And so the soldier checked his screen to show what it was that caused the outburst.

And on screen was a girl who just popped out of no where only to surrender to the Imperial patrol that showed up. It was random and she was quickly stripped of her stuff before being dragged away. Staring at the screen, the Sith figured it was strange for the woman to suddenly appear, right as there was missing relics taken from the Sith.

It was a long shot but Asher realized it couldn't a coincidence that this girl showed up when the criminals just recently attacked a Empire outpost recently. So once again staring and glaring at the soldier Asher had only one question for the man.

"Where is the detention center?" With a few words the soldier told the Sith where the detention center was, though the amount of turns and stairways was ridiculous.

Asher complained the whole way but slowly begin to plan out his way of getting both the treasure and glory from this. And it all rested on this girl having something he could use to find the criminals with the Sith relics. Thinking on how to approach the girl, Asher figured best to come down hard but not with pain, at least not at first. So long as she thinks her life was in his hands maybe she would give him what he needed.

"Now I will make this quick. Do you know anything about criminals that might have stolen some stuff from a Imperial outpost? If you don't tell me anything in about 10 seconds I will be leaving you here without food and water." Asher hoped this pressure would be enough to get what he wanted, if not then guess she would be staying here till her death.

"1..2.." And so the games begin.

Lenix was scared. The guard roughly shoved her into a florescent light filled room. The walls were pale white like sun bleached bone, and the chair she sat in was made of rough durasteel. Specters of the past began to swirl around her. Memories she'd kept buried for years began to resurface. Sweat beaded at her forhead and her breath became ragged. She needed to calm down, she needed to regain control, but she couldn't. Visions of Garbis' hammer like fists slamming into her body sent shock waves of fear through her. She was losing it, Lenix was losing control. Tears began to well in her eyes as the emotional stress of her panic attack reached its climax.

Just as she broke the door to the room slammed open and a gigantic lizard burst through the door. Lenix screamed bloody murder as the alien closed the distance between them. "HE'S GONNA EAT ME!!!! ARE YOU @$%#*&^ KIDDING ME?!?!?!" His hands slammed onto the table in front of her snapping her out of her hysteria. Lenix yipped in fear as tears streamed down her face. However, the beast did something she didn't expect... it spoke.

"Now I will make this quick. Do you know anything about criminals that might have stolen some stuff from a Imperial outpost? If you don't tell me anything in about 10 seconds I will be leaving you here without food and water."

Lenix's mouth dropped open. The lizard was sentient. She was officially a racist. Comprehension eluded her as she attempted to wrap her mind around it's demands. He, she hoped she hadn't mispronouned it, seemed to be after the same smugglers she was. The giant lizard (wo)man started counting.

"1..2.." Lenix spoke up immediatly.

"I'd love to help, what do you wanna know?" she smiled sheepishly at him hoping he'd completely glaze over one of the most embarrassing things she'd ever done.

Asher almost wanted to laugh, really he wants to close the door and take a moment to chuckle and smack the other two worthless guards on the back because of the woman's reaction. But it almost felt right, he was feared and that is how things should be. It was giving Asher a warm feeling inside him, but sadly that had to end for him to be serious and intimidating. So once he spoke and said his piece, he realized something. She thought he would eat him, why? Like what about him looked hungry, was it his skin tone? Human's wouldn't know such a thing right? Unless of course she learned about his species but no way that would be right.

No most likely she is just a very cultured person who has spent years looking into reading cues off of alien species and is aware of the fact that Annoo-Dats are meat eaters. Though only a fool would think differently, their giant form and mouth should be a clear sign of that. So Asher figured he was probably dealing with one of the few non space racist in this wide galaxy. Despite it feeling good to be understood she still had something he needed and his natural rage wouldn't be put down just so easily.

And her response was just perfect she was willing to give him what he needed and for that Asher felt in control. Which was good because anything less and Asher might have actually show the girl what it would mean to be eaten by a Annoo-Dat prime.

"Your willingness to help will get you far little girl. And what I want to know is simple, who is it that are stealing from the Sith and where I may find them. I have a good assumption on where their ship might be but if you can just point me in the right direction I might see to it your release." Asher straighten his form and made sure to give a big toothy smile, hoping to show how nice he could be, one gained control when one had the person being controlled in ones hand.

"Now of course if your lying to me, can promise you a nice trip to the place we all go to." Asher waited to see how the cultured and understanding woman would respond with and hoped that she had what he needs.

Sithspit... she thought as she listened to his request. She had to think of something. She didn't know the who was stealing the sith thingies... Or did she? Shaking her previous screw up off and regaining control of her mind, Lenix looked to her interrogator and said, "I want to help. I really do. I can also give you the information you want, but only issue I have there is I won't be needed once you have what you want..." she gave him a pained smile and shrugged.

"How can I trust you won't just kill me?" she said in a mild almost apologetic tone. Lenix knew she wouldn't be able to keep this up long. She needed some sort of leverage or to get her interrogator on to her side. She needed to be useful so that he couldn't just ditch her. Hopefully, his response to her question would shed more light onto his character. The longer they spoke the more hope Lenix held.

Then it clicked. "What if we make a trade?" she asked. Hoping beyond hope that this being would take her offer.

Asher smiled, sensing hesitation from the woman, clearly she was thinking of her own life a way to gain control to have some sort of power over him. Which was good because that meant she wasn't stupid, that was something that he could use. In the end she was looking for a way to give him what he wanted but keep herself alive and that was something the acolyte can use in making sure he got what he wanted. Even with the smile he could tell she was nervous and now he was going to have to show how things will work for her.

There was going to be a trade all right. And once she said that Asher lifted his two upper arms and slammed his two fists into the table, leaving a dent. It was a bit impressive but in fact that was the best he could do without much assistance of the force, sure he was stronger then most humans but until he practice more he was limited.

"This is the trade, you prove how smart you are by helping me and I shall do what you ultimately want. I will let you live knowing that the only reason for your continued life is me. So this is the trade, I shall make sure you get out, for a simple debt. You can start paying it back by pointing to the location, so don't worry why should I kill someone who is going to be helping me when I call on you?" Asher wanted her to know that right now he was in fact calling the shots and to give her enough rope to want and help, but there was few options she had really, either help him or she would be stuck and right now he felt that he just gave her the best option out there.

Asher wouldn't wait long before he continued putting on the pressure.

"3..4.." Hoping she would get what it meant, that the timer was running out, she needed to agree quickly if she wants freedom.

The show of aggression sat Lenix up straight in the uncomfortable chair. Her jaw clinched and relaxed as she glowered at her interrogator. She had understood his first expression of might, but the second was uncalled for. He point had been fair and now he was acting as though he held all the cards. He was wrong.

"This is the trade, you prove how smart you are by helping me and I shall do what you ultimately want. I will let you live knowing that the only reason for your continued life is me. So this is the trade, I shall make sure you get out, for a simple debt. You can start paying it back by pointing to the location, so don't worry why should I kill someone who is going to be helping me when I call on you?"

Lenix let his ultimatum float in the air momentarily. She didn't like this one bit. His wording sounded a lot like slavery and she would die before she allowed herself to be a slave again. Her fists closed tightly and her knuckles went white. Her mind raced as her anger flared.

"I don't accept your terms." she starred him in the eyes as he began counting. Lenix arched a brow at him and asked, "Is that supposed to intimidate me?" she didn't give him the opportunity to finish, "It's unwarranted. I've been compliant. I even agreed to help and instead of building my confidence in you. Yet you threaten me with chains and servitude? she scoffed, "I fail to see how that's a trade..." she was still buying time. She knew there was something she could use, she just had to find it.

As her mind poured over every detail she caught a glance of her self in the two way mirror and it clicked. She looked rapidly from her interrogator to the mirror hoping he would follow her gaze. She lowered her voice so that only they could hear. "I've only seen faces, and I know some of them are acting as imperials." she looked up at him wondering what he'd do next.

Asher watched as she seemed became defensive and inward, and then she began to clearly get angry which was good. Her willing to bare her fangs was something he didn't expect nor did he think it was the best for her. But clearly she hated the idea of servitude, which was something he would have to file into his head later. So clearly she wanted him to show her that he would do to help her out that it wouldn't be a one way deal. And before he could speak he notice her looking into the mirror before speaking softly.

She seemed to be implying that she knew who they were by their faces and that they were impersonating Imperials. If that was the case she just gave him everything he needed. But Asher didn't buy the suddenly giving out information thing after just saying she didn't think it was a fair deal. For now though he still had one major card to play and he would try it once more.

"So lets say you're telling the truth, understand I am here giving you not chains but a get out of jail free card. See I want to give you something no one else wants right now. You though understand the galaxy isn't about mercy or fairness, its about control and power, so let me help you gain control. All I want in exchange is the power you may have, and for it you gain the power I can wield. Is that not a fair deal? You gain a connection inside the empire and with its rate of expansion that might buy you more then you might expect." Asher didn't need her to go on the defensive again, he needed her to see it for what it was him helping her get freedom from what would be certain end, maybe not death but the Imperials weren't kind to those that trespass.

"Now as a sign off good faith let me do something for you." Not waiting for a answer Asher took out the vibroblade and with a single swipe cut the handcuffs in half allowing her freedom of movement though the metal cuffs were still around her wrists.

"See I want to give you freedom, all I ask is you to give me something that would allow me to help you out more." Asher hated playing nice but knew that later he would still can call on favors, so long as has a way of making something out of his situation then he would be able to live though a few fake kind gestures.

Just like that her chains were cut away. On a whim. Lenix held no illusions that he tormentor actually believed her or that he cared what she thought. The simple matter at hand was he needed her. The end. Her knowledge was what was keeping her alive. She stood from the durasteel chair and promptly moved away from the being. It was clear to her that he wasn't a normal imperial. He must have been involved with that weird sacred band. He didn't strike her as a space wizard, but hell at this point she was so rattled it didn't really matter.

Lenix had ignored Damon explicitly and if she got out of this she would owe the smuggler an apology....

His words still hung in the air and Lenix realized he was waiting on her response. Hanging her head in defeat she said, "I'll give you what you want. I just need to get to my speeder. I left my datapad there. It has all the information you need." there was no response. The lizard stared at her impassive and almost predatorial. A droid entered the room and placed her backpack and tool belt on the table. She watched the droid and then watched the lizard. Tentatively she stepped forward and reclaimed her pack. She removed Pookie from it's holster and set it back down on the table. She knew this was a test. If she failed she was dead.

The droid that had brought in her equipment announced to the room, "A speeder has been readied for you and your captive, sir." Moments later Lenix was seated in the passenger side of a military speeder headed in the direction of her stolen vehicle. The ride was short and little was said between the two.

Beeper, her N-10 astromech warbled a cry that sounded both chiding and remorseful. The droid seemed to understand that this wasn't a good situation and that only made Lenix feel worse. She hopped out of the imperial speeder and grabbed her datapad from the glove box of the landspeeder. She unlocked the device and queued up the most recent video. It replayed displaying the two smugglers and their imperial droid look a likes in the background. If the Lizard picked up on the resemblance it might earn her a little more wiggle room. She thanked every deity in the known universe for her over site. her mistake might have actually saved her bacon.

"There are a few more vids like that and one that shows how they're doing the stealing. Look here," she moved closer to him and pointed to the slightly out of focus pile on the ground. "I think that's what you're looking for, right?" Lenix waited on his response and as time passed she began to worry he'd just kill her now. She chewed on her bottom lip and resigned herself to death. That was all she could do right?

Asher watched the prisoner finally break and agreed to give him what he wanted, all he needed to do was get the datapad. So he just continued to stare happy knowing that this was soon to be done with. A speeder was given to them so they could head out, which was good though once they got there he notice a astromech droid that stuck by the woman who was about to give him what he wanted.

As she showed him the videos and had done her end of the bargain, it would have been simple to just kill her now that everything would be done without any loose ends. She was probably praying for the fact she had what he wanted and now she just prove she did in fact have what he wanted. So Asher despite his desire to just have fun, he decided to let her live and maybe have a way to contact her if he needed a person in the shadier side of the galaxy.

"What is your name?" Asher would ask either she respond or not he pulled out a communicator and placed it on the speeder.

"It was in fact what I needed now, let me make this clear you working with me is what made sure you got out of this. It wasn't that hard now was it?" Asher needed to make sure she understand that he might call on her later and that it might be good for her to work with him.

With this Asher knew what he needed to do go to the nearest outpost and begin the search for those that thought they could steal from the Sith. If all went well most likely Asher would be getting both a chance at a lightsaber and some praise from Darth Cain.

"Now why don't we go hunting my new friend?" Asher said leaning down closer to the woman with a wide smile predatory in nature and completely without joy in it.

"Lenix." she responded with a quite voice in return to the question asked by her captor.

"Yours?" she didn't expect him to respond, but if he did she'd be sure to commit the name to memory.

Asher answered quickly and then began to spin the abusers web. He was trying to build dependence. She needed him. He saved her. Without HIM she would be dead. Luckily, Lenix had been down this road before. She saw through his manipulation, but she simply nodded her head. Giving him the satisfaction he needed to feel powerful.

"Now why don't we go hunting my new friend?" Asher's features twisted into a snarl that Lenix interpreted as his attempt to smile.

She returned the gesture and then said, "W-we don't really need to hunt though..." She waited until she was sure he was listening.

"We know where they're going to be." she gestured to the datapad and said, "I've been watching these guys for several days. They always return to this location to split the haul."

She could discern recognition in his eyes and finished with, "I think it'd be easier to set a trap."

So Lenix was the name of the small human, that he had with him now. This though didn't mean a whole lot since the woman could simply be lying but still at least he had something to call her now. An of course she would ask for the same courtesy, and the acolyte figured though that he can give a straight answer considering that if he does become powerful more people will know his name. Though if he was to become a lord or Darth he would get to rename himself.

"Asher." He returned the same respect that he got from the girl, though when she nodded the Sith wasn't sure either not his plans to manipulate will work but he still had to try.

Though it was cute to see her attempt to hide her discomfort, the smile was clearly her trying to be brave yet it was poor attempt at it. But Asher figured best not to crush her dreams. Yet her did talk about not hunting them the acolyte was about to say something very rude, but then she talked about since we knew the location of where they were going to be we could use that information. To set a trap, which did have a certain appeal to the Sith. Surprising the enemy and taking them down then they least expect it.

"You are one bright human. I think your plan would work just fine, though note your plan better work, every second we delay is another second of my time being wasted." Asher finished before taking his right upper hand and patting the human's head having seen this on a few vids, the purpose was multifold and the Sith was sure the woman knew that already.

"But none the less it is a good plan. Lets get to work." With that the twisted smile came back, or the attempt of a smile.

Asher would attempt to make a good hiding spot in the bushes until the criminals arrived and when they did Asher had both his shotgun, and the two vibroblades out already.

Asher. she repeated mentally a little surprised he'd been willing to share his name, IF, in fact it was his real name.

Asher seemed interested in her idea. He seemed to relish in a surprise attack. Of course his enjoyment was accompanied by a warning, "...though note your plan better work, every second we delay is another second of my time being wasted." Lenix was impartial to the plan at this point. She had no weapon, and no real combat skills. Unless, Asher did the unthinkable and returned her weapon she seriously doubted she would be much help, but that was slowly fading from her mind. She knew she needed to start thinking about her own survival.

That's when she remembered her repulserboots. Lenix's plan started to come together as Asher reached out to pat her on the head. Instinctively she backed away and eluded the being's touch. "Sorry, not a fan of touching." she said cautiously hoping to avoid offending the lizard.

She made a mental note to learn more about his species. There were so many beings in the galaxy, her limited exposure could get her killed if she wasn't careful. If she was able to get out of this she'd be sure to pester Damon about it.

Asher complimented her plan and his feral grin returned. Lenix forced herself to remain impassive. She wouldn't give him the satisfaction of seeing her flinch. They reached the meeting place with plenty of time to prepare. Asher set to creating a makeshift lean-to that would act as perfect camouflage for the duo as they awaited the smugglers arrival. The cover was far more than adequate. It seamlessly blended in with the forest foliage and was big enough for the both of them to fit comfortably in it. The second quality being the most important to Lenix.

While they waited she switched boots and prepared for the incoming chaos as best she could. The plan she'd come up with was a simple one. Stay hidden until the battle was in full swing. Catch a droid off guard take it's weapon, blow off it's head, and then proceed to the D-5 Mantis as quickly as her repulserboots would allow. As her line of thought finished the sound of incoming ships caught her attention. This was it. The Smugglers were about to do their exchange.

The first to land was the XS Stock Light Freighter captained by the Pantoran named Krill. The boarding ramp lowered and four battle droids carrying blaster rifles of a make Lenix didn't recognize filed out in front of Krill. Krill was armed with multiple knives running up both legs, and a blaster rifle resembling the ones carried by the droids in his hands. As they took their place in the clearing the other ship arrived. The D-5 Mantis circled once and then put down directly across from the Corellian ship. An equal number of droids filed out. These were equipped with blaster rifles and vibroswords. The Gotal, Drull, followed the droids out. He was packing two blaster pistols and what looked like some kind of grenade on his hip.

There was obvious tension between the two seasoned smugglers. If Lenix had to guess the pair of smugglers were probably still arguing over pay rates.

"So, you ready to renegotiate?" scoffed the Gotal. Krill turned a dark violet and spat on the ground.

"No. You've over reached for the last time you disgusting wretch!" bellowed Krill. "How dare you ask for more money when your part in this holds the least danger!" Krill continued. The gotal's hand began to twitch over his weapon. The trap was ready to be sprung, As soon as Asher made his move Lenix would follow with her own.

Asher waited for a while every passing second made the acolyte impatient but never to the point of taking his anger out on the nearest human. But the wait was worth it, knowing that the girl wouldn't be of much help without a blaster but also not trusting her enough not to put her own survival over this task. Asher would simply handle the fight himself, which shouldn't be too difficult, but when the four droids from both the ships came out he realized maybe this would be not the simplest of tasks. But the tension between the two criminals where clear even to him, and the acolyte hoped to have this cause the two smugglers to fight one another during the battle.

Pulling out the shotgun and pistol the acolyte waited as the two smugglers yelled at one another prepared to fight each other for their prize, and setting the shotgun to the scatter shot mode. Aiming for the droid on the Krill, while his pistol was aimed at one of Gotal's droid. And with a sudden burst the four arms of the Annoo-Dat fired into the enemy. The two droids would be blasted wide open, sadly this meant that their position was known and so the acolyte ran out off it running to the nearest tree for cover, firing both the shotgun and pistol into the crowd.

The Sith was going to attempt and get closer and once he did the two vibroblades would come out and the fun part of slicing and dicing can begin. Though he wasn't able to keep his eye on the woman, he made sure to not shot her in the back. Unless of course she was planning on running away. Which case he didn't need her anymore. Still he made sure to stay behind in his cover and firing into the smugglers ranks.

Lenix nearly jumped out of her skin when Asher opened fire. She'd been focused on how to exploit the arguing smugglers. The shotgun ripped into one of the droids shutting it down immediately and crippling a second. His other weapon split the metalic dome of another droid and the two smugglers were making a run for cover. As they moved Asher burst forth from cover. His move exposed her to the smugglers and she scrambled to her feet activating her repulserboots and shot forward moving toward the D-5 Mantis Drull captained.

Before she could reach the ship one of the droids turned on her preparing to open fire when it's face suddenly exploded into a shower of sparks. One of the pop shots Asher had taken had just saver her. Lenix rushed forward taking the freshly fallen droids blaster rifle and sprayed a five shot arch across the remaining droids. She hit one and crippled it, the other moved behind cover just before he spray hit it.

Lenix activated her boots shooting forward again. This time her boost carried her to the boarding ram of the Mantis. She scrambled up the ramp and into the ship closing the ramp behind her. She shut her boots down and dropped to the floor. She rose the battle rifle and moved through the ship making sure there no one was still on bored. After a quick sweep she ran to the cockpit and fired up the engines. The next thing she knew Lenix was lifting off the ground and into the air. She took a seat in the captain's chair and keyed on the radars and began the hyperdrive diagnostic. Her eyes flew across the controls as she attempted to find the weapon controls.

She peered out the cockpit window and angled the ship toward Krill's Ship. She watched as the Pantoran ran out of cover waving his hands desperately. Lenix ignored his please and opened fire on the ship. Knowing the relics Asher needed were in there Lenix aimed for the ships engines and crippled it. Not like she wanted anyone following her right? She was confident Asher could handle the remaining forces. She hoped she never saw him again, but she knew she probably would.

With that done she pressed the throttle forward and shot into the air. She altered her trajectory to her previous hiding place and picked up her trusty astromech. With her mission complete and her Astromech in tow Lenix tore through the atmosphere. Once in space she activated the hyperdrive and watched the starscape stretch into starlines before morphing into mottled blues of hyperspace. She put the ship into auto pilot and then went to the refresher. She took a hot shower and allowed the terrors of the day to melt away. Mission complete.

Asher watched the droids pop one by one, his bolts making short work of them. The Sith didn't have time to play with them forever so he needed to get this done quickly, though he would have had a easier time if it wasn't for his partner leaving at the first chance she got. Sure he know she would but Asher hoped she do more then just take down one droid. Still as she scared a few he fired into the droid forces again, the smugglers firing shots but too scared to risk full exposer.

The guard droids were easy to hit when they had to work on getting cover for two different shooters at different angles and limited mental capacity to work it out. So he fired and brought down the last of the droids in due time. And watch as the criminal fired onto the ship stopping him from chasing her. It was smart a bit to smart for his liking but still she could be useful later. For now he pulled out the two vibroblades, and put his guns in their holster as he charged with a bad smile and hungry look. They screamed he slice, it was a good time.

And with the cargo secure he got a pick up to the Imperial base, where he was sure to let the Sith who sent him on his mission get his just deserts. A bolt in the back from the smugglers and a lightsaber in the acolytes hands. It was a small thing, but every small step brought him closer to reaching the point of real Sith and true power.
