Faction NPCs

What's the deal with them?

Are they the same as other NPCs and therefore just cardboard cut outs? In which case what can you use them for?

Is there any benefit to amassing human resources (as against, say, advanced tech)?

(Referring to the mission-reward-type NPCs)

I may be wrong but I believe that faction npcs are used to spice up a thread. You can’t technically use them as an advantage in PVP just flavor.

 

[The Good Doctor]

They are a show of authority for your character. They can help out with some DMed or Dice threads. And can help you like crew a larger vessel or something like that.

There’s plenty of uses for them really
