So nation rps have been around on here for quite a bit of time. You usually know the drill, post up a template, get a bunch of research on an existing country from wikipedia, and try to somehow get Georgia to become master of the world through all types of espionage and building some sort of doomsday machine.
Well, I thought it'd be interesting to do a Nations Rp, but simplified, and not set on earth. No big template sheet. No having to do IRL research into countries. No world economy calculations, at least not at the start. And no having to deal with a super large super power right off the bat, unless that's your cup of tea.
This would be an rp of the participants making, from the start to finish. From what era and state the world is in, to whether we'll be grounded in the real world to playing in a world of magic and aliens and cthulu. Basically, you make up your own nation, and play out its actions, hoping that what you do sticks. You'd do this by simply typing out what your nation would try to do, with limits on how much you could accomplish per-turn, and certain perks your country would have that could mean the difference between victory or defeat. Think civilization, only with original nations.
If there's enough interest, I'd open up a few polls to see what kind of map and setting you'd like to play.
