Sensing the attention of the others in the bar turn away from them, Danla's mouth actually now quirked up slightly, as though she had just heard something she quite liked. "18. And very sheltered. I told you. They wanted me to run the business... Or be attractive enough to marry someone who would."
She adjusted the veil over her eyes and then crossed her legs, looking like a cat that just got into the cream. "Tell me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like you are telling me a way to be strong enough that I COULD kill them all? Are you offering to teach me?"
Xath had had his eye on the two for quite a while now, listening with intent to their conversation. Interesting...what he had gathered so far, one was a fellow brother in the Order; the other...he wasn't quite sure.
Nevertheless, he'd felt awkward enough sitting there and listening. He finally got up and walked towards them, making a pass before sitting nearby and looking straight ahead. He didn't want to take any unnecessary risks...might as well test the man.
He finally turned to stare at him, mumbling almost inaudibly, "For the Eternal." Now was time to see if his assumption as to the man's identity was correct...if not, well, he'd simply apologize and pretend to be nothing other than a friendly drunk.
Hope ya'll don't mind me hopping in like this, but it was Open and I was bored... :P If you'd prefer me to stay out of it, just let me know.
Orion Shattou would chuckle as she stated her current situation. Shifting his gaze through the force as he heard her question. "Teach you?" He chuckled a bit as he took a sip of his drink than put the glass back down. "I could bring you to the right people, but teach you?" He shifted his lean a bit " The dark side of the force is something that is hard to leave..it bonds with you, like a addiction for power. Of unnatural abilities.." Thinking to himself that she may have dark in her but her innocence and light was strong as well he felt. She was young, a child to him. "There is no turning back without risking death..It will change you, physically, mentally, You give in to your hate and suffering and will be rewarded with power."
It would only be a moment before another person came towards them. He seemed off and through the force Orion picked him up as he came closer. His energy was dark and it seemed he never hid it what so ever. Miraluka primarily used the force to see and could see peoples and others force energy. Hearing the words come out of him as just saying that name allowed could have them both killed. His smirk was still on his face ad he leaned against the bar facing forward but could see all around him "You would know better than to be saying that name allowed..". He was a fellow Sith Eternal and a ally which made Orion surprised for him to approach so openly in a cantina such as this. Acknowledging his words, Orion remarked "Take a seat my brother." in his cold monotone voice. Orion always gave off his eerie dark energy to force sensitive users if he wanted too. Taking a mouthful of his drink and other hand free.
Danla listened to what he had to say, her fingers tapping on the counter... And shrugged. "I have nothing else now. I'm as good as dead if my family finds me anyway, I'm sure."
A slow smile crossed her face though and she actually laughed. "They did want me to hold power though.. Would serve them right if I ah... Showed them how powerful I could be."
She paused as she felt another presence passing behind her and turned her head to track Xath as he sat nearby. Through the Force, the man felt similar to Orion.. and she frowned slightly, not sure what to make of it, especially when Orion welcomed him to the conversation. "And who are you?" She felt a bit of adrenaline fill her chest, again wondering if she'd been caught...
"Ahhh...I think you'll find, at least in the future, we'll be saying that name much more...openly."
He laughed, sensing the fear rising in the girl. "Not to worry, I'm not here to turn you in...and I apologize for listening in on the conversation."
He turned back to face his fellow Sith, taking a seat. "I see you've recruited our young friend here for the cause...I've been going around, searching for those similar to her." He fingered his saber through his robe, matter of habit. "To answer your question, I'm Xath, Xath Skous...marauder. Former legionnaire. Follower of the dark side, whatever you'd like to call me..."
He looked around to ensure nobody was listening in; this'd be a bad conversation for them to get caught having. "Say you were going to explain our...philosophy to this woman; I'd advise going somewhere slightly less public."
Orion Shattou would keep facing forward as he enjoyed his drink. She seemed unphased and wanted the power. Murdering her own parents wasn't something you'd debate or consider if you have a good heart but Orion turned his head and looked at her through the force.. "Very well. Stick by my side and you might find what you're seeking for." Letting the server slide down another drink as he watched through the force as the Sith sat down with the two and made himself comfortable. Orion sensed her unease as he heard the man introduce himself to the pair and admitted his ease dropping and apologies. Orion raised a eyebrow as he made the statement of recruiting her and ontop of the advice not to speak around here. Orion kept his usual unemotional look on him with his creepy grin as he withdrew a cigarra from his metal case in his robes and tapped it before sticking it in his mouth and lighting it. Taking a deep inhale of the cigarra as he turned back to face the front.
"Recruit her? No. Simply pointing her in the right direction, I don't seek to find anyone to join the cause..Only to follow orders given above me and grow in power." He was pretty serious in his cold tone but exhaled as the smoke ascended past his blindfold and face into the air above him and vanish slowly. Continuing as the hustling cantina kept the music and roaring conversations going in the background. "I'm simply telling her history lessons, the dark side of the force isn't a secret, nor were the Sith. Just brushing her up on the past is all." In truth he never admitted to anything, nor the fact the Sith still exist. "Much thanks for the advice Marauder Xath Skous, follower of the darkside." He took another inhale as it seemed for someone giving advice to not speak in public, he sure didn't mind to show his cards in public.
Danla looked back and forth between the two, frowning. "You sure you two are on the same side?" This in Miralukese to Orion. She hadn't understood half of what Xath had said as her Basic was still not great. She decided now was the time to learn to drink.... and waved at the bartender. "Uh... Same as him." She pointed at Orion. It should be noted her Basic was heavily accented.
She considered the whiskey put before her with a frown, took a deep breath...took it and had a very small sip... IF she had eyes, they would water but she sealed her mouth shut, keeping her cough quiet.
Xath spoke; he couldn't judge. He didn't speak one word of Miralukese...
He turned back to his fellow Sith. "Point her in the right direction? My friend, you tell that history lesson in the way you've just told it in front of a Jedi? They'll lock you up!! Of course, I'd like to see them try..." He grinned.
"The dark side is strange and powerful...and one must develop an affinity for it. It'd seem as if she already has that...but still, she can't learn everything alone. The right direction just might be, as I said, 'recruiting her.'"
Orion Shattou would watch unease as she seemed to not like the newcomer and stuck near Orion. Speaking to him in Miralukese as he spoke back in his usual tone in miralukese and taking a drag at the end "He won't hurt you, I promise." he watched the man make himself comfortable and gave a friendly poke about the Jedi hearing. "Lock me up?" he simmered on the words and let it roll around in his head as he shifted back on the bar and "I forgot free speech turned into dictatorship." he chuckled a bit as he added "they'd have to take us all." he took another in hale of his cigarra as he exhaled softly before watching the young Miraluka order a corellian whiskey such as himself as she seemed like she wanted to fit in. Raising eyebrow as he looked at her through the force and spoke with a sarcastic tone.."Don't drink it if you don't like it. Theres more on the menu than that drink." he smirked as he focused back on the new comer. "What she does and where she ends up too is her discretion after she goes in that direction, she may not like what she gets." He shrugged as he turned from the bar and took over a booth in the corner motioning for them to join.
Taking a seat as he tapped his cigarra on a glass tray. A Twi'lek server would come and drop his usual again on the table as the glass clinked. "So Marauder Xath, you come to this planet recruit? or just passing by." Orion was very fluent in basic as it was his second language, though a hint of Miralukese was to his tone as he spoke.
Danla watched the two chatting back and forth, her annoyance building as she assumed they were talking about her, though she couldn't understand everything. She gave Orion a glare and determinedly took another sip, carefully suppressing her cough and lifting her nose again. "I don't know the name of anything else." She said... and continued listening to them bicker. And then finally rolled her eyes. "Look I don't care what's going on. Someone told me I could get revenge on my family. What do I have to do to do that?" Of course this all in a bit louder Miralukese. She swigged down the last of the whiskey in the glass and only managed to not gag by allowing her eyes to water at the corners.
... And sat herself back down when she realized she'd stood up and people were looking at her again. She calmly put the empty glass down on the counter.
Xath caught a bit about family and revenge, but he ignored her for now. He laughed at the man's comment; "Dictatorship is an understatement. As for me? Simply passing through on some business with another brother in the Order."
He motioned towards the girl. "Considering you'd simply like to point her in the right direction, I'd say help her with that lovely goal of hers...then, if she's up for it, send her to me."
He glanced at her. "She's a headstrong one...one that I'm sure the Eternal wouldn't mind having as a sister."
Orion Shattou would speak to her Miralukese "He's telling me if you were to learn the dark side..To go with him and he will help you apparently." it seemed he was rather interested in her and wanted to have her once Orion kind of pointed her where to go. Not sure if he wanted her as a trainee or friend. Looking back to him he shrugged "I'll be sure to remember that." he took another mouthful of his drink as he looked back at her speaking in his native tongue "He seems to want to train you, take you under his wing. It's your choice, what do you want to do?" Orion never knew the man or trusted him but he never made any calls. Taking another mouthful as he waited to see what she had to say.
She was getting annoyed and Orion could honestly careless at how this whole thing panned out as he added in to her previous question finally "This has everything to do with it, you wish revenge on your family, the best way to do it, is to kill them all? You need power to do that, hence the whole reason I brought it up, Now I can send you off with this man if you wish, maybe he knows more than me, maybe he knows less. Or you can stay with me, or leave. I could care less. Your choice."
Danla frowned. She had not expected to have choices and she wasn't sure what to say. NOW Orion was offering but it seemed like Xath actually wanted to teach her. But he didn't speak Miralukese... Well... She would have to learn out to speak better Basic at some point anyway. Plus... No matter what he said, she still didn't trust Orion not to turn her in. He knew Miralukese politics... Xath didn't. That was to her advantage. And she'd had enough with the Miraluka anyway. "I will go with you," she said to Xath in heavily accented Basic. "Since you do not care either way." This in Miralukese to Orion with her chin in the air. She was still a spoiled child after all and did not like feeling unwanted. "And you have disgusting taste in drink."
She shoved her empty glass across the counter toward him.
Xath nodded as she spoke to him in basic, noting that he'd need a translator for her to truly convey what she needed to say. He turned back to Orion; "Brother, it was nice to see you...I'm sure we'll meet again, though I never did catch a name."
He held out his hand and the two shook before Xath stood and prepared to leave, motioning for Danla to follow him. She wanted power...something that a lot of people lacked. Soon, she would have it.
We'll continue the training in a different thread, if you're up for it. Once I've got a translator, anyways...:P
Orion Shattou kept his usual monotone and unemotional look to his face as he took a mouthful of his whiskey and set it down. It seemed her emotions got the better of her as she stated she would go with Xath. She wasn't wrong, Orion truly never cared to begin with as he nodded. His smirk was still on his face as she made a remark on his taste of drink. The cigarra he had burned in the corner of his mouth blew the smoke around his face as he laid back in a relaxing way and watched the pair move off together. She was rash and might get herself killed but it seemed choices made on rash decisions never end well. Nodding to Xath as he said his final words. "Take care brother. I'm sure we'll cross paths in future." his smirk still across his face as the Miraluka stood up with his drink and waved the pair off with his blindfold tight across his face.
Relighting his cigarra with a new one. Letting his name question skip over the reply to him as he took a seat in the corner of the bar where he originally sat. Dark in the corner with only his burning cigarra end showing. Almost disappearing into the thickness of the smoke and crowd, phasing out of sight. Speaking to Danla in Miralukese as he watched them go "Luck'" with his thick Miralukese accent and cold monotone voice to it as he went back to his business and with drink and smoke.
