the crash shook Dol but luckily it was just a girl, not very big but still going full force. Dol held her shoulder trying to steady himself as well as her.
"woah! you alright?!
I asked, the pink woman seemed very out of place among the Mandos. I kept my hand on my blaster, Looking out for Dolworth to make sure she wasn't some kind of Distraction for him to get jumped. it would be q bad place for it. then I realized it might be somebody behind her.
"Miss is someone chasing you?"
I drew my blaster and leaned my head over to look down the alley behind her

the Pantoran seemed familiar though I couldn't quite remember from where. And I definitely remembered The Rook vod from before, during the events with the mask of the sith.
"No. not with any protectors. I doubt my clan would have ever had that honor. I am Adenn, Adenn Rytt."
I rested my eyes on the Pantoran, she was familiar. and then it hit me.
"Ive seen you before, miss, Dantooine if Im correct. its not common for your people to have no tattoos but not just that.. you Have the same air about you. it was a brief exchange but I dont forget faces. I was the Mando from the caves if you even remember. you said you would grant me access to Archives. that would still be a great privilege, Ma'am."
I tried to jog her memory, perhaps some small details might remind her though I tried not to reveal her identity though her companion no doubt knew it as well. Talon didn't seem much in a hurry though and neither was I, if she'd remember me.

The dark armored Mandalorian repeated the same sentiment Roland had heard several times. The Mandalorian Protectors, the Resistance, Bo'katan and the century following seemed to have been lost. Stories of the old Mandalorians continued, inspiring holdouts and groups of warriors from a bygone era. But Roland wanted the prosperity his people had once achieved to come again.

Roland nodded as well at the familiar yellow armored Mandalorian. His speech seemed exact and Roland wondered if it was his first language. There were some Mandalorians that spoke basic as a second language and Mando'a as a first though these days Roland rarely crossed paths with such comrades. "Roland Rook" He introduced himself, forgetting for a moment he hadn't done so.

The way that Adenn spoke to Indy gave Roland pause. It seemed the two knew each other as well. Even to the point that the Pantoran Jedi said the man would get access to the Jedi archives. Maybe I should ask if I can take a look at that too. He thought to himself realizing that was an unused resource.

"I'm looking for some assistance and I think the Protectors would be best suited for the job." A sigh followed and the plates on his shoulders drooped ever so slightly. "Might have to end up starting from scratch though." His helmet tilted up and began looking at some of the buildings and structures. The Lieutenant had seen pictures of the Mandalorian cities and knew how beautiful they had been despite being surrounded by so much wasteland.

"On a side note, have you possibly seen any other Rook clan members or Solus?" He brought a hand up to his arm and lightly tapped the body glove area of his arm. <"I heard there was a good tattoo artist among them on
Mandalore. Did I miss them?">
It would be Roland's first but times were changing. If a Mandalorian like a forgemaster was passing through town, usually the other Mandalorians might make it a priority to pay homage since most of the warriors of old continue the culture in a nomadic life style. The same could be said for getting authentic Mandalorian tattoos and rare commodities only the endangered people of Mandalore can produce. It wasn't something Roland was going to pass up if he had to opportunity.

Beneath her concealing veil, golden eyes narrowed at the Mandalorian who seemed to know her by sight of build alone... and not for the first time did she understand the appeal of the Mandalorian beskar'gam. She wanted nothing more than to disappear into anonymity. But her eyes showed her displeasure at the Mandalorian addressing her so... casually.

"I remember," she nodded once, staring hard.

"I also recall you helped a Sith escape my custody," she stated bluntly, arms crossed.

Let them explain that away. She was still less than pleased.

"darjetii cuyir a mirci't be kaysh srukre tkiriyr."
[A sith is a prisoner of his own mind]
I scoffed.
"The sith Rowa, is dead. He died in that cave in, Died where I had dragged him out and performed medical work on him. I would never help a sith to escape. The Dar'jettii are monsters, mongrels. warriors of neither courage nor honor. in truth I saved my family and that was all. not that you seemed in a hurry to get your prisoner out... or my family, for that matter. "
I jabbed back. If she wanted to be blunt, fine.
"If you wish for proof of his death, I have none. I buried him on Naboo, the Sith is no more."

Her jaw tightened beneath her veil. Please. He wanted to act all indignant simply because he was called out for his own actions? However, something he said seemed to snap something at her own patience. She crossed her arms, staring him down with a determined glare.

"Oh yes, because I'm clearly so powerful I can move a bloody cave in within minutes," she snapped back, stepping in a little bit. "Pushed away, and then being hailed on by rocks, in a place I was not familiar with. And yet you somehow tell me the Sith is dead," she replied, perking a violet brow. "I have nothing but gratitude to hear that... but forgive me if I can't trust that word. I leave that," she nodded her head to Roland, "up to his judgement. But we shall see if I change my mind and let you have any access."

She wasn't angry, but it certainly irritated how he assumed that by letting a 'dar'jetti' escape, suddenly everything was okay. Everything was not okay. The Sith was under her charge, and he escaped. It stung more than a little bit that he let that happen, regardless of if the Sith was killed or not.

"Haven't heard of any tattoo artists, but we're actually on the way to meet a Solus vod we've been working with." The idea of revamping the Protectors was intriguing--but wouldn't they need a Mandolore first? And that'd be extremely difficult to arrange...had to start somewhere, though. He liked this guy already.

He wanted to comment on that subject before the others starting arguing about, hell, Sith? He coughed uncomfortably; obviously she wasn't the most polite person. Adenn had addressed her as "miss," and "ma'am" only to receive a sharp and seemingly rude (cryptic at that) jab. Of course he'd responded in kind, and this lady wanted to get indignant?

His ears perked up at Rowa's name--of course. This was some sector ranger, possibly even a Jedi at that, after a Sith. Last person in hell that he'd want to be talking to right about now. Now his suspicions were on the Rook member; why was he in this company? Not even he could be trusted with information on Rowa...kriff, Adenn was in league with her...what had their people come to? Nonchalantly while still listening, he turned about and raised his comms; "Hey Dol, bit of a delay, you can meet us here if you want..." Coordinates were given; they wouldn't dare do anything; Regardless, he could care less what bones this random-ass outsider had to pick with a Vod.

"Oi, lay off, would you? Probably not the best place for a person of your kind to be starting a row. If he says whoever the hell you're talking about is dead, he's dead, and that's all that concerns you." Might just piss her off all the more, but surely she was aware that they didn't exactly welcome foreigners with open arms.

For a fleeting moment, Talon wondered if they were desperate souls, dashing Jedi who might just try to arrest them or something along those lines. Nevertheless, the area around them was starting to get busier and busier; pull a blaster on a Vod and you might get a free souvenir bolt to the head.

The cross-visored helm turned to the side, trying to listen to both the exchange Indy was having with Adenn while still listening to Talon. Hearing there was going to be a solus arriving only warranted a nod.

Roland held up a hand hoping to prevent Indy from taking any unintentional bait left by Talon's words. "I'm not here for this Sith, dead or otherwise." They could drop the subject since he already had dealt with shady people with their own share of secrets. Roland hadn't been there, questioning wouldn't lead to anything good, and Indy could knock them on their butts if she wanted to probably.

"Here's my info." He gave them what they would need to contact him. <"Have the badger give me a call sometime. No rush."> He smiled politely underneath his helmet. This was still a city and there were many places to look for who Roland was looking for. Worst case scenario he would get a call or a message later.

"Look around. Tell me if you're satisfied with this..." he gestured to the clear wrents and tears in parts of the city. Rubble still sat in piles and overgrown with some wild plant life that had probably once been a well groomed median. "...because I'm not. Tell your Vod that Roland Rook is seeking out any Mandalorians willing to make a change for the better." There wasn't any news about his father yet. Roland would need to see him again before he could say with confidence he represented clan Rook. How much should I bet he's going to want to fight me for it.

Her eyes narrowed at the Mandalorian stepping in to the defense of the other. She knew all too well she was an outsider, but it didn't mean she was going to just instantly trust someone again after she lost Rowa. Her trust wasn't easy to lose, but once it was lost it was not easy at all to get back. But hearing Roland speak, she merely nodded once, but didn't take her eyes off the pair before her.

So instead, she shrugged them off.

Roland, and the other Mando, were right, it wasn't worth hashing out just yet. But she was still reluctant to let that Mando close to her records.
"I don't mean to be rude," she answered calmly, but her shoulders were still stiff with being goaded on by the other Mandalorian, "But I just wanted some answers. Now I have them." Crisp, blunt and simple. She wasn't going to waste time listening to them get all riled up by her bluntness; it was time to move on.

She was here for Roland only. Anything else that came along would just have to be talked out later.

Rook Made a lot of sense, It had been on my mind since that day, same as him it seemed.
"Agreed. We must end this vicious cycle. war, defeat, death and persecution. We've been pushed so far to the brink were gripping the edge with our toes. I have great apprehension about our future. Sages of times passed have written about times like these.. a sort of end of days. I guess its only our days they were talking about. if you need a comrade, I am at your disposal."
I turned to the Jedi, Whom I already had great love for her Bull headedness and Blunt nature.
"You're Records and archives would complete my clan's. we lost a great deal of knowledge during the darker days. the wars, our own persecutions, Our greatest fall which brings us to our current state. We used to devote entire areas of our ships to books on philosophy and Metaphysical theories. Now? I have 7 Books and a few fragmented holodiscs and some memories from my own time studying. barely even a personal collection worthy of note. I ask not for myself but my people, My Clan."
I removed my helmet, The string with the Khyber Crystal was caught on the lip of the helmet and came into view from under my Poncho.
"What I have Is not enough to even complete my own heir's studies. Much of our philosophical, metaphysical and religious texts were directly taken from Jedi Archives as far back as 6000 years ago."
I tried to look her in the eyes, they looked hurt
"the Man I killed I did out of great mercy to him. I remembered him from the wheel, he saved us. there was good in him. When this life ends I hope to meet him on the other side of the veil. Kapr kaysh taabir bat."
[May he march on]

Talon nodded at Roland's clarification; as long as he wasn't getting mixed up in this Sith business that was good enough for him. As for the foreigner, he didn't exactly know what to think. Maybe her temper wasn't all that bad; she'd obviously been frustrated and if anything Talon had said previously might've been provoking to her, she certainly didn't let on. No matter where she came from or who she was, that was something he could respect.

Talon took the information in silent contemplation when his train of thought was broken by the Rook. "Damn, Vod, you're serious about those protectors, aren't you..." He muttered. What exactly did this guy have in mind? A small group of Mandos couldn't change an entire planet...or could they?

Talon had never been much of a dreamer, or a very hopeful individual. On the contrary, when he looked around him, he felt only shame. There was no anger or hatred; rather than want to make a change, he wanted to maintain what little they had left. If there was a way to change that, to restore Mandalore to its former glory...he wasn't going to sit that one out.

Adenn was quite the opposite; he'd been hoping, planning, betting, fighting to make things better for the Mandalorians and for the Rytts. He'd had a different past, a different experience, but they were all Vods...

And like it or not, Talon quipped to himself while glancing at the Rook and thinking about Rowa, they were in this together.

The yellow armored Mandalorian sounded a bit long winded for Roland's tastes but he didn't interrupt the man. In fact it actually was kind of entertaining to hear him put sentences together that quirked the corner of the Lieutenant's mouth.

The Mandalorian raised a few fingers to the brim of his hood before giving it a gentle tug to straight a crease. "Ret'urcye mhi" With Indy, the Mandalorian headed away giving a casual wave the mandos he met. It was better if they didn't stick around since there were more eyes than before around the area. The ranger didn't have anything else really to say to them and they now had a means of contacting him. There was still plenty of Sundari Indy and he could cover for the day. He still felt like it would be good to look around for another hour or two at least.

She stared hard at the yellow-plated Mandalorian, letting him talk. On one hand, she could sympathize with the need to maintain a hold on history; it was what she fought for almost every day, what she worked hard to maintain. Still... even though Master Oren pardoned her the loss of the Sith, it had been a painful thing to admit that she couldn't have stopped the cave-in.

There was a kyber crystal there. But she kept her features carefully blank, schooled.

"I'll ask the council on this," she spoke softly. "But beyond that I can't make any promises. Excuse me."

And with that, she stalked off after Roland, head high and step long-legged to keep up. It was a promising thing, to find someone else keen to delve into the past, but there were more issues present here. She promised to Roland she would be there for whatever he may need from her, and she stuck to her vows.

Her first priority... and yet, she couldn't deny a flutter of excitement for seeing more of Sundari. It may not have been the most beautiful city she ever laid eyes on, but its' people were proud, with a long, bloody past behind them. If she could help even the smallest bit with helping Roland restore some of it, it would be a historian's dream come true.

At least, it would be... if they didn't make a repeat of history against the Jedi.

The Vod and jedi walked off with not a word more. Her stride was exceedingly confident and She earned even More Admiration. Her promise to make a request on my behalf was more than Generous, even if she was unsuccessful the effort alone was satisfactory enough.
"Ni mirdir la shi dari'kayi ni o'r ner haalas"
[I think she just stabbed me in my chest]

I said, half to Talon and Half to me. I would play it off as a joke... but still.. she had a Mandalorian's heart.
"Well, we ought to take them to the others."
I said to Talon before starting to follow after them.
