Through Passion I find Purpose,
Through Sadness I find Reflection,
Through Anger I find Resolve
Plumes of dust swept across the barren valley of the dark lords, red eyes peered between cracks of darkness, which lead to the stairs of the ancient Sith Academy. Saran had only been to the ancient homeworld of the Sith a few times during his time as an acolyte, Master Vraz had been a reclusive and seen as an outsider among many of his peers, which kept the Sephi from seeing the traditional Sith approach. He was a weak man, always consumed with his projects, his passion...What purpose did they serve when I ran thy blade through his back? Perhaps it was ironic that the young Sith himself had seen the errors in the way of his master, the obsession with passion and how it made one blind to the truth, and yet that was exactly what the champion was in search of.

Most of Saran's lavender skin was hidden beneath elegant silks of reds and blacks and accented by golden pieces of antiquated jewelry of the occult, his thick white locks had been pushed and tied into a sloppy, but elegant bun, the blush along his cheeks were faint, and the color of his lips had been glossed an off-shade of his own natural color. The Champion walked with the grace of a Sith who was not afraid of the unknown, nor the legacy which a place such as the academy had come to carry -- this would be the place he would truly begin his journey as a Sith.

Ronan was angry. But then what else was new? He had had to get off Moraband after what had happened, but he had found excuses to stop on Korriban. His dark silver hair was pulled back into a short ponytail at the nape of his neck. His tan skin was unusually pale and his dark hazel eyes were even darker. His black robes billowed behind him as he walked with purpose across Korriban. The heat was miserable and his tunic stuck to his chest with sweat.

He saw a Sephi Sith adorned in elegant silks and jewelry and wondered why the hell he was so imperiously dressed on such a disgusting, miserable planet. He knew lots of young Sith came to Korriban expecting their prowess in the Force to grow significantly, for them to find themselves on this sacred Sith planet. It was overrated.

THEME

Korriban. A desolate wasteland to any outsider, but teeming with power and might within the confines of each tomb and temple erected upon the scorched earth. Millennia of history has been written upon this planet and now was no different.

Cassandra Victus, a Sith Champion trained upon the planet of Drommund Kaas came here ambiguously. In her training she had discovered her natural talent with the manipulation of the force itself and the energy surrounding it. She had trained for years as an Acolyte but now she had graduated from the Sith Academies. After that she spent some time within liberty before returning to study and grow upon herself. To what purpose does she have, however? Was she going to reign terror like most Sith, or develop the political landscape? Or would she have something else? That’s what she is here for perhaps.

Knowledge is definitely on the agenda today, as Korriban itself is an archive of history. Cassie perhaps will find something to attune herself to, but for now she encounters more Sith who have come with equal ambiguity. She had a rather light amount of armor on her, with a dark cloak veiling it. Her lightly dyed magenta hair would blow through the wind as she would approach the group brewing…

It appeared that everyone wanted to intrude upon Malus's meditation today. Three more Sith had gathered near where the green alien had decided to try and enjoy some quiet. But there minds were buzzing with disgust, anger, confusion, and it was fairly annoying for the smallest of the four Champions. Malus sighed and gently stopped levitating. When he reached the ground, he opened his eyes and turned around to peer over the ledge he was stationed on, glaring down at the Sith below him.

"Greetings fellow Dark Siders. My home away from home, this is. Hmmm?" Malus introduced himself after landing in front of the group. "Tombs...magic...Knowledge everywhere, there is. Secrets to be discovered, there are. Yes. Hrrmmmm..." Malus had spent several decades on this planet and he knew it like the back of his three fingered hands. If these Sith wanted a guide- or even a lesson -Malus was there best bet. Maybe he could find someone worthy of the Rule of Two to mentor and guide.

"Mopey, you are. Veryyyy mopey...yes..." He grumbled, pointing his walking stick at the group before stabbing it back into the ground, resting both hands on it. "Sith do not mope! No! Make other sad and dreary, they do! Yes! Yeesss! Hrmmm?" Malus's glare was cruel and unnerved. "Ambition...passion...emotion...That is what makes Sith. Feel the darkness of the planet..." Malus closed his eyes and began filling himself with the shadow of the Dark Side. Korriban Magick was at it's strongest on it's homeworld- and the others would feel it's power.

"The screams...the despair...the fear...the anger...All of it, yes?" Malus was no show off, so he let the darkness fade. He wanted to give this three a taste of the power that was offered through the Dark Side. Malus was not malicious, but he was stern. His ability to harness the beast of the Dark Side was made him stronger. Unfettered rage was powerful, but tactless and clumsy. Rage mixed with cunning could topple entire empires if used correctly. Maybe they already understood it...maybe they would soon understand.

Ronan glanced up when a small green creature landed in front of him and a couple other Sith. He hadn't intended to seem like a group with these other Sith, and yet here he was. Ronan could feel the power radiating off of everyone here, and thought over his words carefully. "Not mopey, just thinking," he replied, leaving his answer vague. The green creature further reminded him that wallowing in his own self-pity would do him no good. He needed to ascend right back to where he had come from: to a position of power. And to get there, he needed purpose...

"Thinking are we?" Malus repeated, glaring at Ronan. His ambition was selfish and it would cost the Empire if he only sought power for himself. Sith like Ronan were the people that Darth Bane had warned Malus about. Those that traveled their own path aside from the Sith Code. Ronan needed a teacher, but Malus wasn't sure if he would be the right mentor just yet. The little green alien needed to know more about the other Champion.

"Thinking...of what? Power?! Ascension?! Purpose does not come from power! Power comes from purpose. For example, the Mandalorians, hrm?" The warring group of super soldiers were not invincible, but their strict beliefs in their own religion made them a force to be reckoned with. A prince mounted on an armored horse could not defeat a man with a sharp stick and nothing left to lose. "Powerful, are they that are devout to ideals. Our ideals should align, as Sith, yes? If not...what do you believe in, hrm? The Empire, fight for it do you? Or..." Malus's eyes narrowed. "For yourself? Hrm?"

Ronan stared at the creature blankly. How was he supposed to answer? Thinking about how stupid he was for being tricked by a Jedi. "Thinking about what I can do for the Sith, to repay them for what they have done for me," he said, which technically wasn't a lie. And, he had already done this in killing his master. Repaying a debt, some might call it. "One might be powerful by following ideals but one might also lose their heads when blindly following and trusting without questioning," he said, almost immediately wishing he hadn't spoken. She had gotten inside his head. "If you are questioning my loyalty to other Sith and the Empire, you don't need to worry. The dark side is an old friend of mine,"
