After the High Priest had ordered Lillianne never to let Darius leave her sight unless guards accompanied him, she had pondered the idea of joining the training sessions of Isiah and Darius. It would be risky, she knew, but it might also prove to be very beneficial. The two students could learn from one another, spar with each other and help where the other showed a weakness. River seemed much more intuitive in his nature while Isiah proved to be more physical. Hoping they could both learn together and along with each other, she more wanted to see how the change might affect River.
She had asked River to be patient with the guards at his doorway, telling him that there would come a time when trust would be restored. Now, standing before his door, she knocked upon it lightly and called out his name.
"River? Are you ready? Isiah is waiting."
