The world of Sakiya once was host to the Zavalforr Arms Corporation. The weapons manufacturer was built on a simple principle, mass production of competitors weapons. This gave them an edge in Five Syndicate Space as there were more than a few people willing to hand over the schematics of all manner of war material, ranging from small arms, to heavy walkers, to top of the line repulsorcraft gunships. The company thrived and played a major role in providing military grade weapons to pirates, thugs, insurgents, and warlords across the galaxy. Unfortunately those same circumstances that made them profitable also saw to their end, as just as many people were willing to take a pay to kill the directors of the company to stop the flow of these machines.
The factory, depots and warehouses were all seized up by none other than the Black Sun. A worthy venture on the surface, that in the end proved more of a headache than it was worth. The logistics, supply, and manpower price was more than the Black Sun was willing to give it. So to make up the costs, the Black Sun came to a new strategy.
A massive sell off to encourage new partnerships and to get rid of war material that was simply collecting dust. A great partnership will be a much needed boost to the Syndicates that cannot afford to be overlooked.
Invitations were sent galaxy wide for anyone to take their pick. Merchants and experts were brought on to essentially liquidate the assets of the long defunct Zavalforr Arms Corporation. And to ensure nothing got out of hand they bought off pirates and smugglers to patrol the lanes and escort their VIPS. And the event would be overseen by a rising menace on the wild end of space, a Toydarian with a ruthless reputation that would make sure the peace was kept.
The conditions are set for a great moment in galactic free enterprise. Praise be to those that would partake... and a plague on any that would tempt fate.
(OOC - So the idea is that this is a giant firesale, that would entail three threads. All can be simultaneous, the invite list is just a little different. It will be an opportunity for some, and potentially a future headache for others. I do not intend for this to be a thread with PVP, more like neutral ground meeting for characters that might not get the chance for that interaction as well as a chance for characters to get new equipment.)
Thread 1: The Master's of the Universe - The largest sum of the stock is a bulk purchase of military arms, vehicles, and equipment. The amount that is up for grabs would be enough to supply an army of occupation. The Black Sun is interested in selling it all off in a bulk deal, but with this much on the line credits are not everything. The Black Sun wants business partners and beneficial agreements. To encourage the best deal, they are holding an open bidding war. Invitees include Sith Crusaders, Free World Alliance Leaders, Pirate Lords, and anyone that thinks they could give enough to either keep these weapons... or keep them from falling in the hands of an adversary. What will be offered? Unimpeded access to a factions space? Immunity for passed crimes? Scores of slaves on conquered worlds? Valuable resources to fuel the Black Sun war machine? Only those that are in the room will know.
Players: 1 or 2 from each Faction is invited, as well as any wealthy or powerful independent parties that want to make an offer

Thread 2: Firesale, Everything Must Go! - Not everyone in the galaxy can afford an entire arsenal, but many are able to afford that new toy that would help their bounty hunting, pirating, raiding, or soldier of fortuning. Auctions are being held around the grounds of the old Zavalforr depot where they are dealing out the majority. But this rogue paradise is far from existing without troubles. So much money and material attracts desperate people to commit foolish acts.
Players - An Open Thread that will cap at 5 players preferably (these players will be able to partake in the buying and preferably might help stop an issue for the Black Sun for a little discount or bonus.)
