DESCRIPTION
Force Enhancement is a common ability learned by most Force users early in their training. It is used to enhance the physical properties of the body. While it does not make them faster (that would be Force Speed) it can enhance the durability of their bodies as well as their physical strength. Reinforcing strength is precisely what it sounds like. It pours the Force into the user's muscles in order to make them stronger than a normal person. Users enhancing their muscles could easily lift a human being by the throat with one hand without breaking a sweat. With the help of the Force, a human could nearly rival a Wookiee in strength. Stamina drain from this ability is - as expected - proportional to the energy being exerted.
Reinforcing the body's durability is useful for Force users looking to insulate themselves from physical impacts. It might allow a user to survive being slammed into a duracrete wall without shattering all the bones in their body. Some Force users favor this ability over telekinesis to cushion their leaps and falls. Because this ability converts the physical impact directly into the Force, stronger impacts will drain stamina much more quickly.
Often, these two abilities are used simultaneously in order to allow the body to survive the strain of powerful enhanced-strength strikes. Students are encouraged not to use Force Enhancement for anything more than short bursts lest they drain their Force reserves before the battle has even gotten underway.
INTENT
To flesh out Force powers to comply with the site's new rules without a level system. This is a guideline and should not be used for rule lawyering. It takes pieces from several legends powers including Force Body, Force Valor, and Enhance Attribute and combines them into a slightly more balanced intermediate ability. Please note: When it comes using this ability in PvP, enhancing specific strikes (punches, kicks, etc.) requires either a character focused on unarmed combat (such as a Matukai) or a character who is level 3+.
