DESCRIPTION
Force sight, also known as Force vision, is a Force ability that permits its user to "see" their surroundings through use of the Force. Known to be used by some species (such as the Miraluka) from birth, most Force sensitive beings were able to practice Force sight in some way or another, while more experienced users had a better grasp of the ability.

Force sight is one of the most common and universally taught abilities in the Galaxy, being used by Sith and Jedi alike to train younglings the basics of wielding the Force. Some species, like the Miraluka, learn it from birth and "see" using the Force their whole lives. When using Force sight, users generally report an understanding of their surroundings in 360° as if they are looking with their eyes.

Force sight lends users with a three-dimensional map of their surroundings in their mind, "showing" them everything from the obvious—nearby objects or people—to the more specific details for more experienced users—wind patterns, cracks in the foundation of buildings. This ability can be life saving, being a useful tool for any Force user that finds themselves blinded—whether it be because of stun/concussive grenade, or any other reason. Different Force users have different perceptions of the world while using Force sight, finding that it manifests in various ways—for some, it acts like a radar, while others see the world as it is, but tinted another color, usually white.

Force users are constantly using Force sight, to an extent. It is what helps them feel when something is amiss or when someone is tapping into the Force, but it takes a conscious effort to become aware of their surroundings when their eyes can't help them. While not particularly taxing, it takes training to properly learn how to use Force sight; average users settle with being aware of things in their immediate vicinity, while others go on to learn how to sense which way the wind is coming from, or how to notice small details in one's body language that can indicate anything from their emotion to whether they're lying.

It takes effort to ascertain anything immediately out of one's vicinity. Said vicinity differs in range based on how strong the user is—with more experienced users able to see farther away with less effort—but it must be constantly concentrated on. Breaking concentration leads to the user losing Force sight.

INTENT
To flesh out Force powers to comply with the site's new rules without a level system. This is a guideline and should not be used for rule lawyering. Credit to @vamp for portions of the original write-up.
