Hey,
Would it be possible for a device to suppress ones connection to the force such as a necklace, or for someone (force sensitive) to be able to mask or suppress the wearers signature?
Thank you,
I ask this for RP reasons, I'd like for Ka'ra my Mandalorian to have a force sensitive mother either sith or Jedi. If anyone is interested drop a reply or a PM.
Thanks

Force sensitives are able to suppress their Force presence just by focusing on it.

As for devices, stun cuffs tend to do the trick.

Thanks, I was hoping of a necklace that applies the same effect that stun cuffs could the accessory be plausible through RP? As the other part of the help leads to her parentage, as it's frowned upon to be a Mandalorian whose force sensitive and it would be a 1/2 sentimental item 1/2 practical one that Ka'ra doesn't know about. Thanks guys for replying quickly

As Underline said a force user can suppress it. And Mandalorians (assuming non-force sensitive) wouldn't be able to know your character is force sensitive unless your character decides to magically push objects, make superhuman jumps .etc

As for an item (the necklace), that would have to go through the tech boards for approval.

neural inhibitors are canon tech and don't need a write up.
Just had a quick look at them and all that comes up for neural inhibitors is toxic darts, a neural disruptor was used on Bastilla Shan in KOTOR. A necklace form of this would only prevent her from calling on the force or the force to her not stop her from being able to think straight... do I still need to do a tech submission?

more or less they function as mental blockers preventing the wearer from utilizing the concentration required to call upon the force. they can be overpowered by people with exceptional willpower (like bastilla) but more often than not they completely cripple the force usage of whoever is wearing it.
