Force Swap

PVP FREQUENCY: Uncommon/rare
CONCENTRATION: High
ALIGNMENT: Neutral
STAMINA DRAIN: Varies

Base Description

The user forces two inanimate objects to switch places. Essentially teleporting two objects. If a rock is 10 meters to the user's left, and a tree is 10 meters to the right, this ability would allow the two objects to instantly switch places.

Advanced Properties

The amount of energy required to teleport any of the objects depends on how difficult it would be to move the object with the force alone. Making a Knife and a sheet of paper would be much easier than switching a speeder bike with a boulder.

The user can only teleport an object if they are able to make that object move with the force. For example, if a force user cannot lift a boulder up with the force, then it will be impossible for them to teleport it with another object. Teleporting the object will also use up as much stamina it would take for the user to move that object normally. The stamina drain adds up from the two objects. Hypothetically if it took 50% of a force user's energy to lift a boulder, and they made two boulders swap places, then they would have used up 100% of their energy.

Basically, a planet is impossible to move since no force user has ever moved a planet (at least to my knowledge but even then, that would be the ONLY force user who could even teleport it).

Force users who already know how to use force teleport will find this ability easier to learn than others.

The user can only teleport inanimate objects. Plants/trees can be moved. Only animals, humans, other species, and etc can not be moved.

This ability cannot work if a living being (person or animal) is inside of an object being moved. So for example, a user cannot teleport a ship in space with a crew inside to another location. However, they can teleport an empty ship.

The user cannot teleport objects that another living being is touching. So they cannot swap a person's clothes with any other object.

Strengths

1. Confuse opponents
2. Can utilize the environment more effectively during combat

Weaknesses

1. Can only be used on inanimate objects.
2. Dependent on how powerful the force user is. Extremely weak force users may never find this ability to be useful
Difficulty
3. Can be very stamina draining.
4. Very difficult to use while in combat, mostly to be used during brief pauses in combat.
5. Cannot swap objects being held or touched by a person or animal. (The gif above is a bit misleading in this regard but used the gif more so for a visual example).
6. Can only swap objects that are within 25 meters of the user.

Difficulty

Anyone around the level of a Jedi knight(or sith equivalent) can learn this ability. Again, the level at which this ability can be used depends on the strength of the force user. Users who can use force teleport will be able to use this ability much easier than others. Only people Jedi Master/Sith Lord level or higher can use this ability in actual combat. Jedi Knight level characters will more so use this for plot purposes and maybe a rare use in combat if there is enough time to concentrate.

Intent
Create more variety in combat. Another useful tool that can provide more depth to the arsenal of certain characters. A good example that comes to mind for this ability is if a character is hiding behind some sort of object. If they are not touching the object, a force user could swap their cover with something smaller, assuming they have the ability to do so.

Unfortunately I'm rejecting this. Teleporting is not comparable to telekinetically moving objects, and this ability doesn't mesh well with the Star Wars-y vibe and feels easily abusable in and out of PvP.
