Manaan, Blackwell Technologies Headquarters

Manaan. A world once touched by the Orar'da'yadr, but that was thousands of years ago, back when the Coalition had the reach of the Mandalorians of old. Now, it was just a distant dream. As the Nakadr cut through the swirling clouds, Srucayr would stand at the ready, his visor focused on the destination at hand, and with it, what he needed to do. The future of the Clans relied on what happened here, and so, the War Priest would not fail them.

As the Kom'rk Class ship touched down, Srucayr would descend the ramp alone, leaving his arms with his companions. He was sure the ancient beskar alone would be enough to unsettle those present, he didn't need to bring his weapons into the mix. Armed with a single dagger, he made his way to the entryway of the compound and never had Srucayr seen something so advanced. The Coalition needed a great many things and this place, was perhaps the key to getting their hands on them.

With Newtons card in hand, Srucayr would make his way through security, though they were very thorough with the War Priest, checking every crevice for a hidden weapon. His visor would continue to scan the building before he was finally waved through. He would then be escorted to a waiting area, where several guards kept a watchful eye on the warrior, waiting for Newton to give the all-clear for him to go up.

Sunset and light-fades on Manaan. Newton had lots of pretty menial stuff to do, like meeting wither people, doing paperworks, doing marketing analysis. Boring stuff. The Blackwell Executive's loyal astromech droid M7 was with him, at his side. At least through all of it, he has his buddy behind him so he isn't alone. Just when he thought he was all done for the day, he would get a notification from his secretary droid that a guest has arrived with his card that's looking for him that is wearing some sort of old armor. It took Newton just a moment that it's his acquaintance that he spoke to on the Daeledus that one day. Is it that one day already? Only one way to find out. "It's fine. Let him through" he gave the all clear. Besides, it wouldn't hurt to have a chat with someone more interesting than corporate drones and other boring executives.

With that the door to Newton's office would be opened so when Srucayr does make his way up he would be ready to open. Security would still be vigilant however, as per Blackwell's protocol and knowing that he was kidnapped by Hutts he can't lax it. Still, Newton would be there in his office awaiting the arrival of the surprise visitor. "Welcome Srucayr, to my office. It's been a while. Hope security hasn't been too zealous" he would ask when the Mandalorian would step through the office doors, hoping for such. Although it wouldn't surprise him if they weren't exactly safe. Newton was in his usual business suit.

Srucayr would enter the office, it was always amazing to him what existed on worlds beyond the Mandalore Sector. Even their ancient cities had just been reflection of what they could have been. What they were. It was that... advancement that had opened the War Priests eyes to what his people really needed: a beacon.

"It is good to see you again, Newton." the Mandalorian would say. "They were about as thorough as I expected, so nothing unreasonable. I am sure there are a great many things here that need to be protected. Although, it's curious, they seemed worried about something. Threats on your person?" he asked. He wasn't one for galactic news, nor would he be aware if the kidnapping had evenn made it there.

There was also the kidnapping attempt by Czerka on one of their regional executive's daughter, and the placing of a bounty on said executive and a Blackwell cargo ship in retaliation as well. Newton didn't need to share his troubles with the Hutts, or elaborate too much on their situation with Czerka. "Oh, Czerka's been doing a bunch of saber-rattling. Nothing much to worry about however. Better safe than sorry after all" He said. The daughter was rescued by bounty hunters, and Czerka looks foolish yet again. They have always been upstarts.

Anyways, Newton would then ask what his Mandalorian friend is doing here exactly. "So now, what can I help you with?" Newton would lean back in his office seat behind his desk as he asked. There is quite a lot that Newton can do... for the right price.

"Hmm.. Czerka.. Never hear anything good about them." Srucayr would muse. He would then take a seat in one of the chairs opposite Newton. It felt odd, not needing to adjust his weapons to sit, and he still reached to do it before cursing himself silently. Getting old was a bitch.

"My Clan is at war with upstarts.. We can make our own weapons, but we don't have the materials to sustain it, so.. we would need to find a way around that. I figured outsourcing. Tanks, firearms.." he would pause for a moment, deep in thought. "And perhaps something more... ambitious. A way to revive a dead world."

A way to revive a revive a dead world? Newton raised an eyebrow. Is Mandalore what they are wanting to 'revive'? Newton knows some Mandalorians very well, but doesn't know much about them beyond the basics of their warrior culture and that a lot of them are blasters for hire. Newton knows Srycayrs isn't one of those, but there are rumors that the 'purge' and constant wars the Mandalorians had damaged their worlds or destroyed them, but he wasn't sure on what degree? He would ask for clarification. "Tanks and firearms is something we definitely sell. As well some top-of-the line droids, such as the D3-NB. " Newton as a droid expert and naturally can't resist plugging in his own creations.

"Reviving a dead world though?" he questioned. "Are you wanting to 'revive' Mandalore?" Just to confirm. He could assume it's Mandalore, but there are quite a bit of other Mandalorians worlds in their home space, and probably no shortage of them in bad shape. He's right though, that is more ambitious.

The young man was sharp and Srucayr could see the intelligence clear as day that shone behind the eyes. Srucayr already knew of the Blackwells ability to supply arms and armor, but the droids were something Srucayr hadn't thought of. Despite his coverts disdain for the things, if the AMS came to one of their worlds, droids would be fairly useful. "I can't lock in a purchase for droids.. yet.. but I will keep them on the table." Srucayr had said.

The veteran would then remove his helm, the graying dreads being smoothed out. His gaze would fix on Newtons. "Once again, very astute, young Arden. I wish to breathe life back into Mandalore.. And if you can do it, I will be indebted to you."

The parts about the droids is understandable. But surely enough now that the idea has been extended, planted in to his mind, he will come around in time. Probably. Mandalorians are a warrior culture so there may be reluctance to purchase things that can fight in place of men which they probably wouldn't like. But it's on the table for now, as he said

Anyways, Newton would think for a moment, breathe life back into Mandalore. That is a tremendous undertaking. Can Blackwell even do it? He isn't sure off hand, Blackwell can do a lot so it's easy to not to know where the limits lie. Plus Newton is most familar with it's mechanical and electronic technology. Newton would look to the side and then call upon his secretary droid 'L3" he called. Then his sassy protocol droid would waddle over there. "Is there something I can help you with Sir?"

"By any chance, is Blackwell able to heal worlds, or terraform them? Wondering about Mandalore..." he asked to be sure. He internally braced himself for any snark that may come from her vocabulator. L3 paused while she pulled out a datapad and pulled up a number of things on her screen, it would take a moment. "Ah Sir, yes we can. It is a very expensive and arduous process however, and depending on the world, may take years, or decades. Mandalore, might take decades depending on a number of factors, But in all it's is not a fast process by any means."

Newton would turn towards this Mandalorian acquaintance. "Well, there we have it." he said. "This can be done, but it will be very very costly." Newton doesn't imagine his Mandalorian friend is loaded with credits, which is why he offered to be indebted to him. But then a metaphorical lightbulb lit in his head, he had an idea "Unless..." and he was still thinking on it, pondering out all the details in his head.

Srucayr had no illusion that he could ever comprehend the wonders of technology. In fact, he almost regretted the words as they came out of his mouth. It seemed hopeless, silly, nonsensical. But then the young man gave a curious look and a droid was brought in to discuss the matter further.

Decades. That was worth it. He didn't need to see a restored Mandalore, not in his lifetime, only the gods knew whether he would continue to breathe a month or a decade beyond this point. All that mattered to him, was that his children, or theirs, could experience their homeworld restored. A promise made to kin, nay, he could never have fathomed this. He would uphold his promise and then multiply it tenfold. And if it worked on Mandalore, it might work on their other worlds.

The Covert may not possess billions, but they were far from meagre in wealth. He was sure their coffers held credits older than Alliance, and some even older than that. But Newton didn't need to know that, and from the look on his face, he already had an exchange in mind. This wasn't selling his soul, this was breathing new life into his people.

"That is the face of young man with an idea.. Go ahead and share it." Srucayr would say as he leaned back a bit in his seat.

Newton was going to share his idea, Newton would gesture his droid for the datapad and he would punch in a few things, and he would then give it to the Mandalorian. "This is the planet named M4-78. It's a droid world. Not like Raxus Prime though. Imagine Courscant, but for droids instead of organic beings" That's probably the easiest way to explain the nature of the planet.

The datapad would give off all the information of the planet that Blackwell has gathered. Pictures, information about it such it's physicals, it's society, and it's version of government. There would be some infomation about the safe zone that's on the planet as well, and that the whole planet is controlled by a droid intelligence that has the same name of the planet. "I have a datacard that when inserted into the droid overmind's terminal, it will bring it under control" he said. Truthfully, Newton wanted to make a move on M4-78, but he's been distracted with corporate business and other things. Not to mention, it would be a difficult battle.

"The Overmind would be very well guarded through by droids and you will need to wear a breath filter. You'll probably want to bring help" he would warn. The droid guards on the planet would not let them near the terminal, Newton saw the guards when he himself met M4-78, he did not dare to test them. The heavily polluted air would also be a concern. The planet just isn't organic friendly.

"What do you say?" He would ask the Mandalorian. A fair trade is not? A planet for Blackwell, and in time, Mandalore may have a future full of life again?

The War Priest would rise from his seat, his arms crossing as the schematics of the world came up. He would even do the little lean forward, inspecting the details of the planet. "M4-78... Can't say I've heard of it.. But it's near Onderon.. and I have.. business.. there. So we'll need some sort of breathing filters for it.. Can we land safely in the safe zone?" He would ask, his visor shifting to look at the young man.

So Blackwell wanted him to go to the world and insert some datacard into it.. Sru wasn't the most tech friendly guy in the world, but there was some concern in his mind about what a company needed control of a tech planet for. He would bring warriors enough, but it would be quite the battle. Perhaps he would look to outside forces. Expendable Outsiders.

As he waited to listen to any more additional details, he'd finally speak again. "If you decide to conquer the galaxy with this newfound droid world, just promise me you won't come to Mandalorian Space. We have enough problems." he'd say lightly.
