THAI VES- OPENING CONFESSIONAL

Rich Magnum would call his next contestant for the confessionals, Thai Ves, another Coruscanti native, into the Confessional room. Just like with Pidge, he was lounging comfortably on one of the sofas, while one member of the security team watched the door and someone beside him had a holo-recorder. He had his wicked grin his hand traced the well-groomed goatee. "Thai Ves, come on in." he'd say waving her in from the doorway.

The room would be unlike anything she had likely ever seen or experienced, and as the Togrutan entered, Magnum would try to pump up the on-site audience. "Look at that adoration!" When she sat on the sofas, it was like melting into a cloud.

[Thai Ves]

"Hello! Thank you, Rich." Thai would enter into the room with a smile and settle into the couch. Oh damn, I need some of this. The couch was probably the most comfortable thing she'd ever settled into, for sure.

The curvy togruta crossed one leg over the other--dressed in a black evening dress that hugged her curves--and leaned forward a bit toward the host. While she wasn't too sure what the confessional would entail, it sounded interesting and she had always been good with chatting up her customers. How different could this be?

Thai would give a little wave to the audience before turning her full attention to the man.

The host wasted zero time in admiring just how well that dress complimented her curves. "Now I'm going to say it, we have been blessed at this mansion because not only have we gotten to see two of the most beautiful and radiant women, from Coruscant, we have seen them back. To back. I could die -right- now and be a happy man!" He offered her another grin as he settled back a bit. "So, lets get this right. Coruscant native from a good way down, you own a bar named Clinks, which I will advertise for you right now. I haven't been, but I will definitely be a regular, I promise you that much right now!"

He would pause to take a sip from his glass of water. "Do you need anything? Water? Wine? Something harder?" Once she gave her answer, he would lean forward again. "So to kick us off, I'm going to ask my usual and easy question, okay? Aside from the money and the house, which isn't this one. What is the drive for you to be out here for this competition? I mean the people already want to love you, I know I do, so wow us a bit more."

He would then lean back to listen as she responded.

Thai would lightly laugh at the man's flattery. She was well aware that the dress fit her well; it was very intentional.

"I would gladly accept a glass of wine." Thai would receive the glass of wine with a quiet 'thank you' to whoever handed it to her--a waiter, guard or whatnot--before turned back to listen to Rich's question. What was her drive to be out here for the competition? Thai pondered for a moment, thinking of the best response to this question. She was out here mostly to advertise her lounge and bar, though she also wished for another chance to travel off of Coruscant. A little story of not being so well traveled, perhaps?

"Well, Rich," Thai would pause as she leaned back forward after having taken a sip of the wine. "I've really lived on Coruscant my whole life. Would you believe me if I told you this was only my second time off the planet?" Thai shook her head and leaned back a little bit.

"I absolutely saw this as an opportunity to see more of the galaxy. And I thought, what chance did I really have to get in, anyways? A gal can dream... but I did, and wow, what a dream!" Thai ended her little spiel with a big smile. She gestured to the gorgeous room around her. "I hope to expand Clinks to multiple other locations one day, maybe with décor as nice as here." Thai wasn't quite sure what she could do with a mansion on a foreign planet, but any funds she received from winning would be a great asset to her in getting other locations up and running. And if all she had to do was be charming and win the affection of the audience, well, why wouldn't she sign up?

"Todd, get the lovely lady a wine." Rich would say, with a playful snap, and a man would hurry from the side of the 'set' with a flute of wine and place it in her hands.

His smile would turn into a grin at her answer. "Alright, so city girl, wanting to get out and experience whole new worlds? I love it. I absolutely love it. And the fact this is only your -second- time leaving Coruscant?! Crime. Absolute crime. We are going to have to rectify that, Thai. Ya know, had I didn't know about the business, I promise you I would have been with the other eighty percent of viewers who expected you to be here to find love."

He would lean forward a bit "You are such a sweetheart, Thai, do not change. You had the dream and now, -now- it is a reality! C'mon folks, can we get some love?" Rich asked looking to the crowd who began to cheer. "I will be rooting for you to open a Clinks on every world you want, maybe a beach world next, yeah? Something with a gorgeous view."

He would take a sip of water. "Anyways, this is a question and a half, half first. Who are you wearing? For the young girls at home who see what a knockout you are and want to just copy the look. You're going to be a sensation afterall. And beyond that.." he would pull out a holopad. "This is juicy, or at least, hopefully you hit us with something juicy. Username xSlaggy2Taggyx, wants to know. 'What was your biggest mistake?'." he'd look to the camera. "See folks, I will ask them your questions, no matter how ridiculous the handle is."

Oh, yes. A beach world would be nice. Very fitting to the theme, as well!

"Oh! Well," Thai let out a nervous laugh at his next question. She was about to name drop someone on live television and she wasn't sure how she was going to explain the connection. "This lovely, lovely dress is Billie Bonheur." Thai waited a moment to let the name recognition settle before continuing. "I feel so incredibly lucky to be wearing something like this. It's probably the loveliest thing I've ever worn." Hopefully it would be assumed that the dress was being worn to garner more recognition for the Bonheur fashion house.

But what was her biggest mistake? Thai really had to think about that one; she didn't usually hold up too long on past mistakes. After a moment, Thai began to respond, albeit with an uncertain tone.

"I- hm, that's a good question. I would say... perhaps... focusing too much on my business. I don't really have a life outside of it." She didn't have many friends. Most of the people she would consider herself friendly with were either customers, clients, business partners, or those who were not-quite friends. "Perhaps I will leave here with a few more friends."

"Billie Bonheur, alright. Go ahead, stand up, and give us a twirl. Shout out to Billie Bonheur, on the Galaxies Most Eligible. We're making dreams come true, because -that- is what we do!" He winked at the camera then looked back to Thai "And you look lovely in it!" Rich would stand up to pump the crowd a bit, while Thai recomposed herself.

As he sat, she had his full attention. "Well that checks out, you came here for the bar, and hopefully you can take something home, right? Now next question. Now that you're here, not only promoting your bar, but Billie as well, do you think you're going to actually unwind? This is a gorgeous place. And now for the segwey question, you mentioned friends, but are you here looking for a bit more? Remember, what happens on New Alderaan, stays on New Alderaan. And my next joke would have gotten us irrevocably cancelled, so if you're seeing this and want to know, find me in the mansion when the cameras -aren't- rolling.!"

Thai laughed a stood, giving the audience a twirl and a wink. The fabric of the dress spilled out into the air around her as she twirled, falling back into place as she stood still and sat back down.

"Oh, I will try," she said in response to Rich asking if she would try to unwind. But she really wasn't looking for more. She was flirty and she was attractive, which meant she had many chances to explore something more before. The togruta didn't like change though, and a relationship was a lot of change. That answer probably wasn't the one the audience wanted though.

"Well, there are several contestants here who are..." She paused. "Easy on the eyes, but I can't say I'm looking for anything specifically."

Magnum gave her an appreciatvie applause, as did the other on-site audience. "See? Look at you, you were made for this!" Grinning as he settled back in his plush seat. "Thai, you gotta do a lot more than try. Promise me you go wild, but not too wild. Take some chances, have some fun. You're far too young and far too beautiful to be this reserved! This is a vacation, so live it up. Win or lose, you're a rockstar from here." He'd say genuinely.

Adjusting in his seat, he would ponder her next words. "And there is nothing wrong with not being here to find something! At times, you will be allowed to venture to the less fashionable set to see any of your guests or whatnot. Less cameras." He'd say. "Now then, for the final question, Thai.. What is one thing you have never told anyone before? You seem a little closed, so here at GME, our goal is going to be to blast that wide open."

"I think..." Thai, again, paused to lean forward, as if she were about to reveal a secret to the host. "...that a woman should keep her secrets near and dear." Thai smiled and sat back, crossing her legs as she did so. "I do not have many secrets, Rich Magnum. But trust me when I saw that many of them are really just dumb shenanigans from when I was a teenager."

Thai turned to face the audience, now addressing them directly. "How many of you all out there are from Coruscant? Now, how many of you have ridden the utility transports up and down the levels to avoid paying the civilian transport fee?" The Togruta would give them a moment to react before continuing.

"I will say, one time, when I was a kid," Thai turned to face Rich again. "while riding one of those utility transports, I caused an entire stoppage of transport because I accidentally tripped a security sensor."

She laughed. It was common enough for things like that to happen, but it was usually the result of actual criminal activity. Not just some Togruti teen trying to avoid paying the five-credit passage fee. She never did get caught.

Rich would hit her with a devilish grin as she refused to share a single spicy secret. But she would at least share a story. "It's the tease in you that makes you a -real- contender Thai." He would lean back as she jumped into her story. There was an amused look on his face as he knew exactly what she was talking about. And once she finished her tale, he would laugh. "Ooh, now that is a -doozy-. We are probably going to have to cut that from production, in case there is a statute of limitations on that confession." he'd say with a wink.

With his glass now drained, Rich would turn to the camera. "Alright, GME fans, that is all the time we will have for tonight. Courscants own fiendish minx is a power runner in the competition." he would get up from his seat and take her hand, kissing the back of it. "Miss Ves." he'd say with that same devilish grin. "A pleasure, we will see you back in here in about a week. Good luck with the competition."
