HUMANMANY IMMRIGRATED SPECIES

Ganthar is home to the Gantharian humans. It had been around since the galaxy was created. Though wasn't found by outside life until 24 ABY, it was fairly advanced. (Much like human life on Earth in Halo.) Then when other species had immigrated the Gantharians would become far more advanced thanks to the studying and rebuilding of other cultures.
Ganthar was surrounded by two moons. It also had rings around the planet. The rings were consisting of nothing but meteors and space dust. The planet Ganthar was rather large requiring far more time to rotate than the average planet. It had rather chilly winters thanks to being further out in in the outer rim. The summers were decent and bearable.

Like most planets Ganthar had different biomes. There were multiple seasons, and they had varied weathers within them. In the summer it was hot, around 80-90 degrees fahrenheit. The fall was a decent 65-75 degrees. The winter a chilly 10 degrees. The spring a 70 degrees.
The landscape was beautiful. There were mountains, deserts, forests, jungles, plains. So much of this planet was quite beautiful. The oceans were vast, and deep. The oceans were blue as can be. The atmosphere had allowed for the reflection onto the water and vice versa. The skies usually a light blue, though sometimes it turns orangish when over the desert areas.

This world has no relevant history to any of the galaxy other than itself. It was hidden from society on an unknown hyperlane. The past of Ganthar is quite practical. There were multiple forms of governments on the planet with different empires. Wars were started and ended over owning land. Then one day a powerful country had taken over and wiped out all opposing forces. It succeeded in power through the economical advantages through agriculture, and industries.
The government that had taken over was known as The Confederacy of Ganthar. It was a superior Government, that had proven itself through politics, and war. It's leader chosen through fighting. Much like the Mandalorian race. The Gantharian people don't elect leaders. You mist be the strongest and very best in order to lead this race, for strength was the only thing respected on this planet.
Events were usually duels, battles, or rodeos. The average life on Ganthar was spent well. Fun was considered brawls, or sex. The people had a very viking attitude among themselves.
When the planet was found by outside life, the Gantharians were very welcoming. They wanted to see what the other lifeforms were made of. Eventually they began to study them. The way they lived. What tech they had. Gantharians began copying the outsiders technologies and started implementing them into their armies, and cities.
After years of the advancement, the planet began to thrive with all sorts of imports from other planets.

Ganthar has a decent amount of natural resources, both non-renewable and renewable. The planet has metals but not any particularly rare ones. Ganthar's main exports are weapons and military vehicles. The planet's geography is layered with a larger amount of fertile land available. But what Ganthar lacks in, it can get with trade.
Technologically speaking, Ganthar is as advanced as the rest of the galaxy. - I N T E N T

Ganthar is not a part of any known sci fi film. It is created to give another race to the galaxy. The planet can make for future threads as well. It was made specifically so I can work on a new race known as Gantharians fighting in the Confederacy of Ganthar.
