DESCRIPTION​

GNK power droids were effectively power generators with legs and simple artificial intelligence so they could understand rudimentary commands. They were most commonly found on under-developed worlds that did not have an expansive power grid, or in mobile military operations. Their limited artificial intelligence makes them incapable of following complex commands.

Some owners of these droids have modified them into weapons in the past by removing some of the reinforced exterior to become a potent bomb. The charging it would take to activate as a bomb is not feasable in combat, and is highly illegal on most worlds. While unconventional, these droids could be used as a base component for another droid's energy based weapons.

By removing the Fusion Generator and replacing it with a lesser power source, the GNK Power droid loses its function to power other devices but can covertly store illicit materials.

LEGALITY​

Legal on all worlds, though modifying them to be used as weapons or smuggling is illegal on most civilized worlds

INTENT​

To include a classic piece of star wars technology.
