Before I write up my character sheet, I'd like to know if it's at all possible for new characters to own an Outrider-sized freighter. I intend on making her a Force-sensitive pirate who may or may not end up joining one of the Force-using factions at some point further down the road, but I'd like to explore her backstory through in-character interactions and events first.

Welcome to the site! Something the size of the Outrider is perfectly fine, in general pretty much any ship smaller than 100 meters (i.e not a capital ship) is allowed for player ownership.
