If you wish to have a character who is part of the Grand Army of the Republic, you must reply to this thread. The prerequisites are that your character is between the ages of 18 and 30 years old. You should also note that, unless the Supreme Commander (Matt) and I feel that you should be of higher rank, you will start off as a Private. Whether or not you remain Enlisted Personnel or become an Officer will be determined on your performance. Name: Eileen Berrick
Age: 25
Specialties: Demolitions and Computers
Short Background: Eileen Berrick was born in the lower levels of Coruscant and comes from a family with a long history of service to the Republic. Her family always treated her as fragile though and her father was adamant against her joining the Republic military at all costs. Yet, after the great attack upon Coruscant by the Sith, she snuck away in the middle of the night to the upper levels and sought out the Republic HQ's looking to sign up with our without her parents approval...she was afterall an adult. Fearless and somewhat jovial, she's one who takes her job seriously. With her degree in engineering and high marks from the Alderaan University, she hoped she could carry on family tradition and prove herself to her family in the process.

Specialties: Naval and Land Battle Strategy, Long Range Weaponry(Blaster Rifles, Sniper Rifles), and CQC(Including H2H)

Short Background:

Born to a wealthy family on Coruscant, James Alexander disturbed his parents at a young age. While Most boys in his school and neighborhood were playing Cops and Robbers, He was playing War with pieces of Concrete and other materials lying around.

After a few years, the young boy seemed to outgrow his facination of Warfare until the age of 16, when his parents caught him watching a Holonet program on the Great Territorial War and writing down battleplans used by the Republic Remnant and the Jedi. The boy's parents immediately searched his room and destroyed everything to do with War and violence. This act against his privacy and passion provoked James Alexander to run away from home, where he spent the next 2 years of his life on the Run, training himself in the ways of Warfare, including Strategy, Hand to Hand Combat, Close Quarters Combat, and Marksmanship.

Name: Tallas Valarill

Age: 19

Specialties: Marksmanship, weapon finesse, naval combat and combat strategy.

Short Background: Tallas Valarill's history is something of a myth. Details of his youth include the fact that he was born in Cinnagar, but beyond that little information is given. A span of ten odd years simply does not exist. After that time, Tallas can be traced to the currently mysteriously absent Vithal Zaala, who seems to have mentored Vithal for the last few years. Vithal cannot, however, be connected to the various crimes against the Republic that Vithal has commited, despite various and numerous accusations.

After being captured by Republic forces on the verges of Republic space, Tallas was conscripted into military service. In reward, his bounty was suspended and any 'previous deeds' would be stricken from record...as long as he remained totally loyal to the Republic.*

* If this is too far-fetched, i'll come up with something else...It may change even of my own accord...being sick and writing this stuff is not fun.

Specialties: Planet and Naval strategy
History: Was born on the dwarf planet Xistable and lived happily on it till a group of meteors that were unable to be be removed from the orbit before crashed into the space station he was in. Though his family survived, his dad's boss did not and since his dad had a very specialist job, he was unemployed until he found a janatorial job. However, Aethelraed decided he needed a job to support the family so he joined the military

Specialties: Commando (Heavy weapons and demolitions) and skilled Teras Kasi user
Short Background: Kindrad grew up in a criminal organization. He was constantly surrounded by people who loved fighting. His parents expected their son to join in on the family trait as he was old enough; they were right. One day his parents brought a whole selection of weapons, and Kindrad too young to know what they were picked the biggest one. That day forwards he has always prefered the bigger guns. (yadda yadda yadda) He was arrested by the Galactic Republic and decided to join the military instead of prision, as it was one of his options. (sloppy but I am in a rush)

Specialties: Strategist, pilot
Short Background: Gorthro is a Mon Calamari, born on Mon Calamari. At an early age, he became very interested in strategic games, such as chess. He became the planetary chamion of chess at the age of 15, due to his uncanny ability to think through situations quickly and act upon them. His reward for winning this tournament was a small fighter ship, which he has been practicing with since. He decided to put his skills to use somewhere where he could be used.

Short Background: Reven was born into a family of strategists and trained n his father's arts since age 4 and is a great strategist because of that. He once served for the Ailon Nova Guard, but when they merged themselves with the Mandolorians, he quickly left and decided to join the Republic. He still wears his Admiral uniform from the Ailon Nova guard.

Specialties: Firearms and demolitions, also stealth jobs. He can sneak into the Dark Lord's bathroom and kill him while hes on the john!
Brief history: Born on Bothawui, and then taken to Coruscant at the age of five, Eurrsk was raised by a human male enlisted in the GAR by the name of John Jacob, where then he was trained from a young age to fight crime in his neighborhood, and keep his streets clean. His dream was to become a soldier in the GAR, just so he could have a little fun, possibly shoot seom bad guys.

BTW: In the history I have written for him, Eurrsk has been in the GAR for eight years, just thought I'd throw that in there, lol.
