DESCRIPTION
Originally designed as a weapon of the Huntsmen Militia, a group on the boarders of the new Sith Empire operating as a band of vigilantes and scoundrels. The weapon functions as two blasters merged into one, with a single vibroblade to separate the two, making it deadly up close and at range.
The Militia believed that the empire could only be protected by all of its citizens fighting, from the most powerful to the lowest dregs, and so created weapons to give the lowest of beings a fighting chance through trickery and invention. Today, the Militia is gone and most of its members regarded as heretical madmen or blood-drunk vagabonds, but their legacy lives on.
The Gratia sacrifices capacity for power, designed by a huntsmen of the same name who believed that two shots were always better then one, and that the nimblest of men could cleave and burn through foes. This proves deadly on the battlefield, offering unparalleled lethality up close. While they ultimately perished at the hands of a jedi, their weapon became a staple of the Militia. The design persisted, and now, it serves the Accord as an optimal weapon for an eccentric sort, and is heavily favored by Mercenaries, Soldiers, and even the elite within the Crucible.
