DESCRIPTION
The Blastech Industries Groundsweeper series of light blaster cannons is a popular ship mod for smugglers, pirates, courier service pilots, long haul freighters, and anyone else who regularly works in the Outer Rim and might need an ace up their sleeve for a quick getaway. An affordable and dependable upgrade, the Groundsweeper series is a heavy Repeater for ground based escapes, and a very light weapon for use against other ships. With a 360 degree pintle that gives it a remarkable firing arc, depending on the ships configuration. The weapon is supplied with a supplementary control panel to install inside the ship, typically in the cockpit at the copilot or gunners station. It is often concealed under retractable or folding panels on the ships hull, and will pass casual scans and inspections without notice. The series comes in a variety of sizes and configurations suitable for nearly any class of ship.

This upgrade adds an additional concealed blaster cannon to the armament of a ship. It can be fired as a heavy repeater on full automatic against ground based targets, vehicles, starfighters, and other small craft.

LEGALITY
While light blaster cannons are legal in most systems, repeaters are usually restricted, and concealed weaponry is illegal in FWA space.

INTENT
This serves as basic weapons mod to customize ships for smugglers, pilots, and similar characters who might be interested.
