Leira looked boldly ahead of her, until she saw blasters being fired at her. She clung to the wall behind the door for a moment, the only small space of safety the padawan had. She had to think. What was the best way to not die? Or at the very least, stay alive long enough for people to not remember her as a total pansy. Chances of winning looked slim, and Leira doubted they were gonna spare them.

Leira rushed into battle after thinking, blocking a few of the shots with her lightsaber. The bolt went back to the one who shot at Leira, hitting him in the chest. She hadn't used the force yet, so she pretty much had some energy to use it on a few people.

She force pushed an especially problematic pirate back, using her energy and looking into the man's eyes. Leira could feel her concentration running through her body, and it felt like it took forever for her to complete the action. She then repeated this process, slamming the man's head against the wall. Knocking him out, injuring him, but not killing him.

Leira then had to keep focusing on blocking more bolts from the pistols, until she felt a blow to the abdomen. Somebody had hit her.

Leira went to retaliate, but he grabbed one of her arms. The man was bigger than her. His whole hand wrapped around her entire forearm. It looked like he was about to hurt her, when in a sudden impulse, Leira swiftly moved her other arm, bringing the lightsaber down on the man's hand. She then was worried he'd kill her, so she quickly made the decision to knock him out, too.

It still seemed as if they were being outnumbered and beaten quickly, despite her efforts.

Emma ran in after Tamara and dodged blaster bolts as quick as they came. Upon seeing her, three pirates came towards her, cornering her. In a moments notice, she cut their blasters in half and force pushed them to the other side of the room, knocking them unconscious. Emma made smooth and quick movements as she was moving forward, blocking lasers back at who shot them, dodging bullets and cutting the ends of blasters off.

She turned slightly to then see that Leira was in distress as a much larger man had grabbed her by the arm. Emma was getting ready to go after them and get the man away from her, but Leira already had her own plans. Just as she was turning to get back into the fight, someone shot at her, and the bolt grazed her shoulder. She made no effort to yell and instead just cringed as she then turned completely, finding who shot at her and ran forward, cutting his right arm off, since that was the arm he had shot at for her.

The man tried shooting her again, but she dodged the bolt and cut his blaster in half before knocking him out through the force.

Tamara had gone in first and did nothing but deflect blaster bolts from around 15 pirates gathered in the room, until the others joined and took care of them one way or another. Once the numbers were thinned, she had an opening to force push what appeared to be the captain into the bulkhead behind him. Even though she didn't do much other than defend herself, she felt satisfied knowing she provided a sufficient distraction to allow her companions to join.

Tamara deactivated her saber and walked over to some of the pirates, her face going pale as she noted some were dead from taking blaster bolts to the chest. This was likely the first time she had seen a dead person before, and it didn't hit her as greatly as she imagined, but it still shocked her to a certain degree.

The padawan kept her guard up as she walked around the bodies, and thankfully most of them were unconscious. She walked back over to Emma and Leira and was dumbstruck to notice both and been shot, but not several thankfully.

"Are you two ok!? I might be able to help with those wounds..."

The last time she healed someone she was left physically and mentally drained, and very literally, but this ability was especially difficult to learn and she wanted to use it.

What? Why couldn't his men hit these Jedi? They had undergone training to fight Jedi. Some had even fought Jedi. And now some were running away. Worthless, useless pirates. Pledging all of these oaths and promptly forgetting them when the going got tough. Mugizu had to do something about it.

As the Jedi had plowed through the men, some, terrified of the seemingly invincible warriors fled to the gun decks on the other part of the ship. There, the gunners had faithfully kept up their barrage on the ship. Hopefully, they would damage the ship sufficiently to prevent reboarding and they had a few last tricks up their sleeves. However, once the cowards had arrived, Lorthanc, the chief gunner began to take charge.

"You ran?" He yelled. "So all that toughness was just a show, I see how it is."

Lorthanc brandished his weapon at them. Some of them jumped back a little.

"You violated your oaths, I ought to shoot you right now. But we've got bigger problems. And you better follow me when we fix them. Because the Jedi might show you mercy, I won't. Let's take back the ship!"

The crew of about 7 marines and 8 gunmen ran through the gun decks headed back towards the main room. Some scared and others full of vengeance. This would be their final hour.

On the other side of the ship, Jorik, the pilot was doing what he could with the thrusters. When the attempt to break free of the Jedi by pulling away seemed not to work, he went for a different strategy. He aligned the thrusters to point towards the Jedi ship. That way, there might be a crunch that would damage the docking equipment.

Back in the main room, Mugizu was recovering after being slammed into the bulkhead. He wasn't sure if he could ever move again. But he had to. They were right there. In a moment of extreme pain, he grabbed his blaster and fired at the Jedi about to heal.

"This is for my daughter!" He weakly yelled as he fired up her.

Leira finished off another pirate, swinging her lightsaber at their neck, ending their life. She felt a pang of guilt, but it was stopped short when she saw a bolt being fired at Tamara. It was aimed towards her head. If Tamara was shot, she'd probably die. Leira didn't want to lose any Jedi.

She moved in front of the girl, in a very fast, fluid motion. Leira was unknowingly using the Force to move faster than she would ever be able to do on her own. Leira held up her lightsaber in front of her head, in defense, deflecting the bolt back to Mugizu.

Emma looked over to Tamara who had asked if the two of them were ok. Emma shook her head when she offered to heal.

"Nah, I'll be fine.. it's just a scratch."

She said as she then put her hand over her arm. She sensed something odd was going to happen and in their favor, not good. She looked to see Mugizu who had raised hi blaster towards Tamara and fired. Emma felt a pang of fear in her heart and she quickly moved towards him after Leira blocked the bolt back at him The blaster bolt fired into the wall close to where his head was and upon seeing this, more like an instinct she moved forwards, cutting the nose of his blaster in half without harming him.

"Not today pirate! Nobody hurts my friends or allies!! No matter what!"

"Kill him, Emma." She said, her tone sounding cold. "They're not going to retreat, one way or another we have to get rid of them." Leira really was just saying this out of concern for her fellow padawans, because it seemed to Leira like slaughtering them all was the only way they were going to escape without getting killed, captured, or disfigured. There probably weren't too many left, but they probably outnumbered the girls.

"Just get it over with, and we can hunt down the rest of them." Leira was hell-bent on getting out alive, even if it meant the pirates died. She would say that they could just make him help them, but he'd probably turn on all of them. "I want to make it home alive."

"No! We aren't killing anyone...we weren't supposed to kill anyone..." Tamara wasn't particularly happy with the way Leira was acting, despite her saving her. She turned around and walked over to her attacker, knelt down rather calm and waved her hand in front of the man's face. The Force rendered him unconscious.

She stood back up again and faced the other two padawans,"We are supposed to detain the crew here and wait for help to arrive. Or at least that's what I believe. We are Jedi, not cold blooded killers" She sighed and reattached her sabers to her belt,"Emma..was it? Are you sure you don't want we to help with that..? I looks really painful"

Emma was confused of what to do at the moment and was stuck between both options. She wanted him gone, but at the same time, she knew Tamara was right. They were Jedi, it wasn't right for them to kill anyone unless they were in an endangered position. She was grateful Tammy had stepped in and took care of the man herself. She wouldn't have had enough in her to kill him. She just couldn't.

She put her sabers back onto her belt and looked over to Tamara.

"Yeah, it hurts. But I've had worse."
she responded.

It didn't particularly matter too much for Mugizu. Looking to his side, a pool of blood was rapidly growing. He must have hit the sharpened edges of the refrigeration unit. Probably should have fixed that years ago.

"Too good to kill me, huh? I guess mind control and kidnapping are okay but delivering death is just a step too far. Enough to put a man into misery but not enough to put him out of it." Mugizu said with venom in his dying voice. He'd spent twelve years trying to find or avenge his daughter and when it was all over, they didn't even have the decency for a mercy kill.

Down in the gun decks, the avenging gunmen and marines were stuck. In their retreat, the cowards had accidently pressed the button to bring down a blast door. Unfortunately, it was locked and they couldn't get to the main room. And it seemed that the person that remembered the code was unconscious or dead.

"Damn idiot." Leira said, in regards to Tamara. Leira felt even worse for not just shoving Tamara out of the way, and putting the man out of his misery. Yea, she wanted him dead. She didn't know Tamara, but what she did know? Tamara was a Jedi. Leira wouldn't ever let a fellow Jedi get shot by a damn pirate, unless she would die if she protected them. And maybe not even then. Maybe if that Jedi were close to her, she'd die for them. Or, if it was like the Jedi Lord or someone important.

But nobody was close to Leira. She wouldn't die for Tamara, but she would take a blaster bolt to the shoulder for her.

Well, she could've died, but Leira did it anyways because she had enough time and was sure she wouldn't.

Leira wasn't sure she liked Tamara, though. Mercy killing was better than letting someone bleed to death. Even if he wasn't going to die, they should've killed him before he caused more trouble. Leira thought killing was more respectful than capturing somebody, honestly.

She wondered what to do now, because obviously the other pirates chickened out and weren't gonna cause them issues. She didn't know where they were, but as long as they were contained, she didn't care. What should they do with the ship?

Tamara noticed the man she rendered unconscious was bleeding to death, he was likely going to die in his sleep, and that sounded like a horrible way to die in her mind. She knelt back down again and moved him so he was lying on his back. Since nobody seemed to want her help, she thought she would use her valuable power to close the wound of her attempted killer. The Jedi crossed her legs, closed her eyes and placed her hands on the man's abdomen. A bright white/blue light shone under her hand as she began to heal him. I took a few minutes for him to stop bleeding and eventually seal the wound.

She stopped and opened her eyes, feeling immensely tired from the experience. Even if by saving his life he was going to jail, she felt better for letting the guy bleed to death in his death. Everything was a bloody mess already. Tamara stood up very slowly and was very dizzy.

Leira didn't see the point of keeping any of them alive? They didn't have too. What was the point? He seemed pretty passionate about his daughter, he'd probably just keep this shit up with the faint hope of seeing her again.

Almost made her jealous. Her father never gave a shit about her. Nobody went looking for Leira. The only reason her dad cared was because she was his slave. She hated him. Someday, she would track down the slimy bastard and put an end to him.

Leira knelt down, patting down Mugizu and seeing if he had any valuables. Couple of credits. She pocketed it. A knife. She took it. Then she found a picture of a small child. She was assuming that was his daughter.

She put that back where it came from on him. Leira would let him have that faint hope.

"What do we do with this shit?" She said, banging on the side of the ship to give off the indication she was referring to it.

Emma watched as Tamara went over and started healing the man's wound. Probably wasn't the best idea ever, but he was unconscious and would probably die off soon. She probably should've had Tamara take a look at her arm, but she was stubborn like her parents were said to be and she refused.

She remembered when he had said something about avenging his daughter's death and thought about her own father. What was he like? What did he look like? She didn't know and would never know, so she just dealt with it and moved on with life. Emma looked up, taking a deep breath coming out of her thoughts and saw that Tamara was very dizzy. Immediately, she walked over to her and offered her arm to her so she wouldn't fall. It wasn't too hard to tell when someone was dizzy, light headed or such. It seemed to be something she picked up immediately when it came to healing people.

When Leira started saying something about the ship, Emma shrugged.

"I don't know.. blow it up?" she suggested.

"Yea, sure, this thing is pretty shit anyways." Leira said. They'd done a good amount of damage to it. It would fly, but really nothing more. "We should loot this shit first. There's probably something useful in here. Credits, or maybe a few damn blaster pistols or something." Leira was selfish, and it would be a damn shame if she didn't get something out of this.

She looked at some of the dead bodies on the floor. Yea, as much as she knew it sucked to die, they should've backed off. And a lot of them were smart and retreated. The death toll wasn't too bad.

Leira began to pat down the rest of the bodies, taking credits and things from them. "Lets at least bury them. They were pricks. Probably deserved it. But even an asshole like me deserves a proper burial."

Mugizu fell into a deep sleep as his wounds healed. He wasn't really conscious enough to register just what was happening and actually remember it. But his sleep felt calm and refreshing. His dreams brought him back to a happy time when the family was together.

Meanwhile, elsewhere on the floor, one of the other men, Garcia, started to awaken from his brief unconsciousness. Seeing the lightsabers and Jedi, he panicked a bit.

"Please don't kill me! I surrender! I surrender! I love the Jedi! We're best friends! Mugizu, err the captain made me do it!" He frantically yelled as he put his hands in the air.

While his more awake self would probably not actually agree with those sentiments, he felt them very sincerely in his fugue state.

Back in the gun bays, the pirates were still puzzled. After numerous attempts at the password, it finally just locked them out for a few minutes. Presumably to prevent some sort of brute force style of getting the password. While waiting around for a bit, a few had some ideas.

"They've probably killed everybody by now. Why not just wait till they undock and leave?" Said one of the marines.

Lorthanc shot a blaster bolt through the marine's hair.

"Next time won't be a warning shot. There is no discussion of mutiny on this vessel. Do I make myself clear?"

Everyone nodded in agreement.

"What if we call and see if Jorik knows? He might still be alive?" Another suggested.

"Yeah, it's not too bad of an idea to see if we can find anything. Maybe even if they stole some of the relics."

Emma said in response to Leira's. When one of the pirates started to speak, Emma jumped slightly and realized that they were starting to wake up. Shaking her head, she looked at the pirate and started speaking.

"Hey, settle down." she said in a calm voice. Then she realized what he had said and walked over, crouching down beside him getting a better look at the man's face. She would give a calm look to show that she was in means wanting to hurt him at that point. She gently took his hands, putting them down so he didn't look weird. "Wait, what do you mean by he made you do this? I thought all pirates were against us. Why did he make you go to this extent?" she asked in a calm tone.

Had Tamara not been 'out of it', she probably would've scolded the slightly younger padawans. Tamara fell against a wall and struggled to keep herself up. She herself was now falling unconscious, just like most of the pirates. She was starting to regret what she did. These padawans were incredibly cold and frankly quite cruel. She was shocked to be part of the same generation as them. Do they not have masters?

Tamara turned around and slid down the wall so that she was sitting and leaning against it, some of the pirates were lying next to her. She was breathing heavily. She tried to speak to the other two as best she could.

"No...no-no-no..no...y-you can't scuttle the ship..we..we are Jedi. Apprehend the rest...that's what we must do...don't k-kill them"

Emma wasn't cold, she was just working through something at the time. Her new master wasn't exactly the friendly kind at the moment and she worked with him the best she could and kept her calm. Her parents were dead and she was passed from master to master.

She looked from the pirate to Tamara and sighed. "Yeah, you're right. If we're taking anybody, we should probably take this big guy. He seems to be willing." she said in reference to the pirate who had surrendered.

Leira was cold. She had never been shown much kindness, or love, or mercy. How could she possibly give it to someone if she had not been shown it? But Leira decided to not blame her upbringing, but instead to blame herself. She decided to think she was just bad, and that was how she was. But deep down, she was good. She wanted to bury the dead ones, and she wasn't eager about killing them, she just thought they had to.

"The rest? Tamara, they outnumber us, they're not gonna just obey. We might absolutely have to kill more unless we want to end up dead, because they might fight us faster than we can knock them out. But, if they do cooperate, I'm more than happy to leave them on this planet alive or unconscious. I don't think you understand that we can't always spare people. Shit happens. And I think the only reason you didn't kill was because we were too busy doing it. Are you afraid of killing?" It certainly seemed as though Tamara had some fear about her that someday she'd have to do it. Leira felt that needed to be gone right there and then. Tamara would someday have to kill or be killed.

She ignited her lightsaber, taking a step towards the man as if she was threatening him. Leira truly did not wish to kill him, and she wouldn't. She just needed him to think she was going to kill him, so he'd be even more unlikely to turn on them.

"Hey, here's what you're gonna do if you want to live. It's easy." She said. "If you've stolen any Jedi relics, I need you to lead me to them. After we're done doing that, you're gonna carry some dead bodies out, and we're gonna make graves." She still knew they deserved proper burials, because even though they deserved to be dead for attacking them, they were people nonetheless. "And I need you to hand over any weapons you may have."
