Interest Check Guardians of the Whills

I had an idea for the Guardians of the Whills back in the Sixth Timeline but I dropped off the radar before I could do anything about it. Canonically we know very little about them but I've changed the lore I wrote up then to more match this timeline and they have very similar beliefs to the Jedi, but not exact, however they would mesh well being under the Jedi's umbrella. After they are established I was thinking one of the first plot/story lines for them could be trying to rebuild the Temple on Jedha and attempt discover and to retrieve some of the giant kyber crystals, from Kef Bir, used in the construction of the Death Star.

Other Jedi would certainly be able to join in missions and I think this might add further RP and mission opportunities. If there is any interest I'll get the lore write up posted for staff approval.

This sounds great; however, I have a few questions are the guardians allies to the Jedi or do they just have similar beliefs? And if anyone can join what if they aren’t very influential they are only Padawans and can’t be much of a help? I’m just trying to see how that would fit into the story.

So my thoughts were that it would be a separate organization that would be allied with the Jedi but have separate membership. Of course any Jedi would be able to participate but I don't think could be both a Jedi and Guardian. Since there is some interest I will go ahead and get the lore article up later. Not sure if it will be approved but we'll see.

My interest for Fiach would be to help you establish the organisation through any plots that might be required - as opposed to joining (or creating a new character at this point) :)
