Halo Crossover!

Hey guys and gals I created this thread to see if anyone would be interested in combining the world of Halo and Star Wars into one cool storyline. We could discuss some potential plots and see if we can get this going!

Some notes on how this will work:

• Each thread is kind of like a mission from one of the Halo games, just that there are no particular main characters.
• Your SW characters are going to be the main focus and the story revolves around them accomplishing the main goal.
• Characters from the Halo universe are gonna be NPCd by me with the help of one or two others.
• The storyline takes place in the same time and same galaxy as SW, so you will still have the same factions, tech and all that.
• This will be as lore friendly as possible to both sides. See below.

My first idea for how this will play out and how it can be combined with the SW universe

Earth and all the human colonies from Halo could be in the Unknown Regions of the SW galaxy. The humans here could have been some ancient humans that somehow ended up there and lost contact with the rest of the galaxy. The Covenant were also formed from alien species within a large section of the Unknown Regions, still looking for their Forerunner artifacts, Halo rings and all that good stuff. They find a map that shows them where to find the remaining Halos, which are scattered across the SW side of the galaxy. The Covenant began to attack and search for the rings and the UNSC try to chase after them to prevent them from firing the Halos. Now the Republic can join the UNSC to try and take down the Covenant.

The Covenant will be a *bit* more advanced than the SW guys, because a galaxy versus the Covenant Empire is a bit unfair....so.......yeah we have to nerf some SW tech.

We will have the Covenant burning worlds, UNSC being desperate, the Flood appearing again and turning people into zombies and meeting Forerunner constructs on Halo rings....as well as your SW characters.

Any thoughts?

Edited faction map. This newer version adds the UNSC and the Covenant Empire. (Halo fans) And if you look carefully the locations of the Halo installations are hidden in the galaxy

I know a decent amount about the storyline, not exactly much though

I've not played Halo.
I do however like Star Wars (oddly enough).

@Algarus, I know this is just exposition but I looked at two maps of the galaxy that Halo takes place in and get this: you know how I said that the crossover places the Human and Covenant empires in the Unknown Regions? Turns out the empires are actually on the Eastern side of the galaxy! In the Unknown regions! Wow what an awesome coincidence!

Plus I have a map that says both halo rings found in Halo 1 and 2 are found in and near Unknown regions as well. So it is highly possible that none of the Star Wars people managed to located them coz they were so far away. But the rest of the rings are found in the other regions. Plus one is in the core of the galaxy. I see an interesting plot.
