Halt Citizen!: Now that the Pyke Syndicate is in possession of dozens of Sector Ranger uniforms and badges, don them and make your way to the recently set up Materiaalaankopen base on Alsakan and bust the doors down, their bases are small, so it shouldn't be hard, kill as many as you want, but bring enough of them back for questioning.. (Self DM 2-3 participants.)

Rafe was making his way on foot through the ecumenopolis world of Alsakan, they had the Intel on a current base of theirs, unfortunately their headquarters was too difficult to track down as it was constantly being relocated, but this would do, they only needed a handful. They had the building narrowed down, and Rafe would be meeting his team shortly to start the raid. It was important at least one survived, they needed the information more than they needed the bodies...

After a decent walk Rafe found it, and scaled the building beside it for a better view, luckily it was some three floors taller than the hideout the Materiaalaankopen had been using. Rafe ran through the typical steps as he awaited his comrade, checking his Blasters, and the vibroblade even though it had never left its sheath, Rafe's claws were better in his opinion.

He had arrived about thirty minutes prior to the actual meet time, this would give him additional time to scope the place and watch for movement, also to light up a few death sticks...

After some time of watching, Rafe exhaled just as his counterpart walked in the room.. Ah good. You're here.. Rafe said as he stood up. Pointing at the locations of interest he said, I believe there's around thirty of them, in and out all the time, even the rooftop, likely all armed and ready for a fight, remember these are slavers.. let's get in and kill em, I wanna take three or so for... uh.. questioning.. Rafe finished with a smile, he was sure he looked a little funny with his oversized Sector Ranger uniform stretched over his armor, and the silly looking ranger badge clipped to his breast, but they needed to make it look like someone else had done the raid.

His plan was to use his jetpack to get onto the roof of the target building, If his partner needed help, he'd offer to carry her..

[Mae Tecono]

Mae arrived just a few minutes before the scheduled meeting time. She too wore a sector ranger uniform, but instead of it streching over her body like it did with Rafe, it would have looked pretty baggy on her if it were not for her mild tailoring skills. She trimmed down her uniform so it would fit her petite frame and blaster scorched the remaining material to randomly drop around the target building to falsely show evidence of sector ranger presence.

"You don't have to worry about me, Boss, killing is the name of the game." She proudly said as she pulled out and checked her two, new, custom blaster pistols. She has been hard at work, practicing using the pistols ever since she got them. She has improved her aim, as well as knowledge of armor soft points and killing methods. Thinking about it all, as she looks at her pair of blasters in her hands, sends chills of excitement through her. She places the blasters back into her too hip holsters, and looks back at Rafe "let's do this" she says.

Although she planned on having her own jetpack by thus point in her career, she had not, and gladly accepted Rafe's offer to carry her down as he flew with his. Plus it be a good excuse to climb into his muscular embrace, even if just for a few seconds.

"Ready when you are, Boss" she said as she stood next to the edge of the building looking diwn at their targets roof scanning for targets.

 

[Sahren]

Sahren was fashionably late as usual, arriving a few minutes after scheduled time. He, rafe, and one other were suppose to be taking a shot at some slavers. Their mission was quite typical, but they were suppose to bring the big boss in alive. That was no trouble, the mercenary preferred shooting the grunts anyway... What he didn't prefer were these Sector Ranger Uniforms!

Rather than being covered from head to toe in blaster resistant metals, he was wearing a lightly padded suit with 'official' Sector Ranger insignia. Instead of his standard kit, he would only be armed with his Micro-missile pistol, blaster rifle, and jetpack. At least he got to keep the kriffing jetpack!

Tugging at the uniform uncomfortably, the long-haired zabrak would approach Rafe and Mae who were already getting started. "And I'm ready too." He would remark. It was at that moment, he realized Rafe had never seen him without his helmet on... Maybe he would need to clarify something... "It's uh, me, Sahren."

[Rafe]

Rafe had picked up @Mae Tecono when another voice appeared, it was always his style to show up a little, or a lot, late. After Rafe turned he slowly set @Mae Tecono back on the ground with a confused look on his face as he stared at @Sahren, You do have a face.. Rafe laughed, he'd never seen his heavily armoured friend in anything less than full metal, and he wasn't even toting along his signature rotary blaster. When Rafe saw that he too was wearing the Sector Ranger uniform Rafe laughed again, there really was a bad joke about the three of them dressed as law enforcement about to ransack a rival Syndicate.

Lets get blasting so we can take these off.. Rafe said as he tugged on the collar of his uniform that was stretched hard over his armour, in truth it had taken an expert seamstress and four normal uniforms just to make Rafe's.. but he didn't feel the need to mention that.

Rafe hoisted @Mae Tecono up again with his left arm and leapt off the building, his jet pack firing up an guiding them safely onto their target's rooftop, he already had his Peacemaker out, but would let the others start firing on their descent. He needed to make sure @Mae Tecono touched down safely before firing, anyway there was around thirty of them, and they only need two or three of them left alive including whichever manager was on sight, so Rafe figured there'd be plenty left for him to kill..

[Mae Tecono]

As they descended, Mae was held snuggly by Rafe and she pulled her two blaster pistols out. As they reached a closer distance, she spotted some targets on the roof, she quickly started opening fire on those below. It was hard to aim while flying and moving downward, but she did the best she could. She quickly disabled her first target directly below them near where they were going to land by striking him in the knee, though she was aiming for his head. The second of her targets was not so lucky and took a bolt to the torso while recieving a second to the neck, dropping his corpse like a sack of potatoes. She then saw more approaching from the right and began to blast in their direction to hault their advance while the three could land safely.

Once on the roof, Rafe, gently put her down. She walked up to the one she had disabled on the way down with the shot to the knee, and quickly raised her blaster and removed his head, making sure he was a threat no more. Headshots have become a favorite of Mae's ever since she pulled her first job off with Rafe, and that poor human pilot was her first.

She then returned to the others and said, "I got the right!" As there were three directions to cover on the roof, forward, right, and left. She left the other two, to decide where they would cover. The right was where she was firing before to slow the advance of the other baddies.

She did not say anything else, as she was on a mission, a mission for blood.

 

[Sahren]

Sahren would grin at his old friend's comment, and quickly get into position next to the pair. He would then unsling the BM-664 Heavy Blaster Rifle from the strap across his body, readying the weapon for what was to come. Agreeing with Rafe's sentiment of getting the uniforms off soon, the zabrak would follow his partner's lead, repelling down with a jetpack of his own.

As they descended, Mae would spot several individual's on the roof and began to open fire. Looked like they were jumping right into things. Following suit, the mercenary would raise his blaster rifle and begin firing multiple shots toward various thugs. He couldn't tell how many were there in total, but he blasted at least three before landing on the roof next to the woman.

"Alright, I'll take the left then." Sahren would pull back on the firing mechanism of his blaster, causing a bit of steam to be released from it. All ready for round two. What he wouldn't give to have his helmet right now though...

Wasting no time, the lightly armored mercenary would begin darting toward the left side of the roof. He would let loose several blaster bolts that would find their mark against several trandoshian thugs!? "Trandoshians!? Ah, kriff." The lizard warriors had taken cover behind several different structures, each armed with blaster rifles of their own. Making a quick decision, Sahren would front flip behind a large metal generator on the roof, diving for cover.

[Rafe]

Rafe had seen the Trandoshians take cover behind a part of the structure, Mae and Sahren had already started making quick work of the rooftop, Rafe drew his R-799 Micro-Missile Gun and loosed three shots, two at one and one at another. This was the first time Rafe had fired the thing and was not disappointed. The piece he had fired twice at had opened a sizeable hole in the roof, leaving a couple dead bodies flying from it, and the other had simply destroyed the cover opening up that one for a clean shot from his partners.

Rafe lifted into the air with his jet pack, firing another missile into the hole his last one had created, holstering the smoking gun a moment later before descending into the building by way of its newest entry point.

When he landed inside Rafe saw roughly ten more men still scrambling from the missile he had fired inside, it had torn up much of the interior of this floor, seemed to have taken a few lives with it. At current Rafe had no weapons in his hands, just the way he liked it...

For continuity sake Rafe yelled, Sector Rangers! You're under arrest! before bull rushing one of them and sinking his right claw into the man's neck as he reached out with his left and caught another by the arm, pulling him in and burying his fangs into the man's skull, biting down hard, hearing the crunch and feeling the skull collapse between his teeth, at the same time Rafe pulled his right claw free from the other man's neck, loosing a heavy stream of red before he collapsed to the floor.

There were still eight dazed men in this room, so Rafe pulled the collapsed skull in as a shield and rush another one, slamming him into the wall hard...

 

[Mae Tecono]

Mae hid behind some debris on the roof and waited a few second as the three Trandsies rand past her to the big gaping hole and were about to fire down on Rafe, when she ran and jumped feed first at one, knocking him over the edge and shooting the other two in the backs of their necks and heads. Not perfect accuracy, but she was getting better. as she rode the 3rd one of the edge, she pushed off at the last second and performed a backflip to land behind Rafe, a backflip and landing that even impressed her. The extra push off the flying surf board, aka Trandsie, put him in a further downward angle with more velocity hitting the floor head first, snapping his neck.

As Mae landed, she started firing at others approaching them from the flanks. She looked at Rafe, just in time to catch him crush and then rip a mans head off with his teeth. She flinched as that was still a bit gory for her to handle and she has spent alot of time around the big guy and his ruthlessness already.

One attacker approached her from the rear and tried to choke her. She kicked forward and spun landing a kick to his face that did not knock him down but just phased him for a moment as she landed on her back and put one in his groin dissolving any proof that he was a male before putting a second one in his head.

The fighting was thick, but Mae was having the time of her life.

[Sahren]

Being pinned down by a bunch of trandosians wasn't idea for a mission like this. Sahren was out of his element without his usual armor. At least he had one other trick up his sleeve. Just as he heard Rafe announce the criminals were 'under arrest', he would bend over and launch his jetpack missile toward the ground of thugs. With a loud and destructive boom, the missile would blow a second hole in the roof, killing the trandoshians and granting a second entry point.

The mercenary would run directly toward the new hole in the building, first dropping to a slide, and then descending into a dust filled room. He found himself quickly surrounded by multiple guards, but it would take more than a couple gangsters to take him down.

"You kriff faces really wanna do this?" The mercenary would remark, before quickly pulling the trigger of his blaster rifle. Several shots would blast into the nearest thug, with the rest of the room opening fire. Acting quickly, Sahren would grab one of the men and create a makeshift human shield. Then, he would un-holster his micro-missile gun and begin firing off rounds at the remaining soldiers in the room.

Keeping in line with Rafe's idea, he would shout "Sector Rangers! This is a raid! Put down your weapons and surrender yourselves!"

[Rafe]

This skirmish had turned into an extreme brawl, someone had certainly turned the heat up... with that thought Rafe pointed his left wrist out toward a group of once again stunned Materiaalaankopen muscle, his flamethrower lighting up and spitting waves of hot white flames that bathed the group. Their screams of terror was like music to Rafe.

To Rafe's right side he heard the signature electrical clicking of a Vibroblade, a man had gone airborn and was attempting to bring his weapon down on either Rafe or Mae, either way Rafe lifted his right hand and activated his Repulsor, the intense shockwave catching the airborn man and slamming him into the wall so hard it buckled, a pieces of the wall fell off and crashed to the floor.

Only then did Rafe realize his flamethrower was still going. Rafe laughed before cutting the stream, now that half the room was on fire, and most of its inhabitants. This was turning into quite the mess, a dumpster fire...

Now that the whole floor was either on fire or full of smoke, Rafe blasted another in this floor with his micro missile gun, and extended a hand to Mae to help her drop down to the next floor. Whether she took it or not he'd leap below through yet another hole in the floor.. they were really plummeting the property value of this building..

Since Rafe's hand was already full of his micro missile gun he simply emptied the mag around the room, Shock and Awe...

 

[Mae Tecono]

Mae let him lower her into the room. "Just when you think you got him pegged as this bloodthirsty monster, he pulls off a move like this, like a gentlem..wolf" She thinks to herself for a split moment as she is dropped the rest of the space into the new horde of Trandies. She too decides to get into the way of promoting that they are sector rangers. She raises a hand with palm facing outward and yells "Halt Citizens! We are the Sector...... Police.... things...whatever!" She then lets out a laugh, half wicked and half lunatic. "Hahaha" Obviously mad with blood thirsty killing herself.

She begins to try to make a game of it and kill some in unique and weird ways. The next one to meet her blaster loses both hands and feet and is left alive, unable to do anything. The one after that she removes his left hand that was holding a weapon and his right leg making him fall to the ground, to live a life of diagonally impaired. The next she tries to to shoot 3 bolts into his chest at the very same location so that she can shoot the guy behind him, but fails and just kills the two guys regardless.

It was all fun and games until she is snapped back to reality as the diagonally impaired guy picks up a pistol and nearly misses Mae's thigh with a bolt that actually grazed her skin burning her slightly. She was snapped back to the reality that she was here to do a job and killing was part of that job, not a blood thirsty pleasure.

She got back to killing and ditched her silly game.

[Sahren]

The sound of blaster fire and shouting from other rooms was easy enough for Sahren to hear. It looked like their usual shoot first and ask questions later strategy was working. As it stood now, the mercenary found himself surrounded by a pile of dead bodies. There were no doubt still more thugs around, but there would be a moment of quiet.

Deciding it was time to resupply, he would begin looking through the jacket pockets of the various Materiaalaankopen grunts. Most of them only held blasters, but one pocket had just the kind of thing he was looking for. "Hell yeah..." The mercenary would pull out a small thermal detonator!

Grinning to himself, he would lob the explosive across the room into a wall. The result would be a huge explosion that would open yet another hole in the building. The mercenary would leap into the newly made entrance, raising his blaster rifle toward any who sought to oppose him.

Sahren would fire a series of blasts that would hit multiple thugs as he began running down a hall way. The target couldn't have been too far away, and the trio were literally ripping the building apart to find the guy.

Putting a commlink to his helmet, the zabrak would ask "Rafe, have you spotted the leader of the facility yet?"

[Rafe]

"Rafe, have you spotted the leader of the facility yet?" Rang in Rafe's ear.. Oh Kriff... Rafe thought, he'd gotten so caught up he'd just been wonton murdering.. before he fully snapped out of it however Rafe was enjoying the sight of @Mae Tecono's new style, if course he was busy at the time shoving his claw through the belly of a man to grip and wrench on its spine, but in the meantime, Rafe watched with pride, as a parent watches their child master a new skill, as Mae began to dance through the battle ground that was the new floor they found themselves on.

A sudden jostle of the building as the aftershock of @Sahren setting off a kriffing thermal detonater, brought Rafe back in, they had about two more floors left of building below them, Rafe assumed in typical fashion that the leader, or as the Materiaalaankopen titled themselves the manager was likely hiding behind all of his men.

How many had they killed already.. Rafe wondered, they had to be running low on men by now... surely.. Rafe was loving the situtation, but @Sahren was right, they had a dam mission to finish. Rafe sighed and growled at the same time, Fine.. Rafe said begrudgingly, pointing the micro missile gun at the floor a distance away and firing the remaining shots, blowing a hole in it and into the floor below, he needed to get back to it. Now that his micro missile was empty, he holstered it and drew his peacemaker before jumping down the newest hole, and firing his heavy blaster pistol so quickly into so many targets one may have thought it was a repeating blaster..

Rafe studied the room as eight bodies hit the floor. It was empty, seems most of the men must still be above, Rafe bolted for the ground floor to find a group of five men, four of them in front of the fifth, Finally.. Rafe thought before coming over the comm wave, Got them, down here ground floor.. at this point the men appeared so terrified they were shaking, holding their blasters up pointed at Rafe, Put them down and none of you have to die like the rest of your men.. Rafe said, he could tell by the uniform the man in the back must of been of a higher rank, Rafe hoped it was the manager...

None of the men moved, seemingly torn between waiting for an order and deciding to just run away... Rafe didn't wait too long for their decision, the Repulsor on his right wrist activated, sending all five of them together as a ball into the wall behind them.

He rush them, a few blasters being fired harmlessly into the ceiling, holstering his peacemaker he detached the shackles from his belt and kicked some of the rifles to the way side, picking up one man and headbutting him, an instant loss of consciousness rushed over the Trandoshian, and Rafe shackled him to another who could fight if he wanted to, but still seemed dazed from his repulsor. It would take a minute but eventually Rafe got all five of them shackled together, and no sooner did a light blaster bolt crash into Rafe's back plate, the result of a hidden sixth man....

 

[Mae Tecono]

Mae followed Rafe as he approached the room with the others, but as she approached, something caught her eye from an adjacent room. She knew that Rafe could handle things on his own with what looked like just a handful of Trandies, so she investigated what had caught her eye.

She entered the small, ill, lit room with what looked like a surgical lamp over a figure in the center. She could not make out much of what the person or thing was that she was looking at by it was feline-ish and definitely female. She had been cut up and tortured so bad that she was disfigured beyond recognition. She was startled at the sight in front of her and also of the movement to her right. She looked over to see a Trandie in white robes covered in blood. The culprit caught red handed, anger spilled from her glare as she grabbed an oddly shaped tool from the counter and slashed his chest with it. He fell to the floor on his rear clutching his chest as whatever she had grabbed cut him deep. She looked down at her hand to find a set of Vibro-Claws clenched between her fingers. Obvious weapons of the deceased female victim. Mae told him that she would kill him if he did not do as she instructed. She told him to stick out his tongue and as he did she grabbed it with one hand while using the claws with the others and quickly sliced it off. She then looked back and grabbed the second pair of Vibro-Claws and carefully slid them on both of her hands. They were very sharp! Before leaving, she looked down at the fool and leaned down clawing into his groin as she grabbed with both clawed hands and ripped his manhood from him. She then stood, smiled at him, frowned at the corpse of his victim and left the room to join Rafe.

As she entered the room with Rafe, he had already taken care of all the Trandies in the room, except for two. What looked like their target and one more thug who was shooting at Rafe with his blaster. Mae leaped at him like a mad woman and removed both his hands as she clenched onto his wrists with her new claws too tightly.

She looked over at Rafe and said "oops"....

 

[Sahren]

Armory continued making his way down a series of halls, thanking the force that the number of thugs was finally starting to die down. Unfortunately, @Rafe had not yet tracked down the leader of the facility and had probably got caught up in a blood bath. Taking down these Materiaalaankopen fools was easy enough, but the job did say they needed to bring some back alive. On the bright side, the mercenary had just the skill set to take in a couple living...

Eventually, he would find himself at a stairwell and decided it would be best to slide down the railing. As the mercenary descended, he would catch wind of shouts and screams from down below, probably caused by @Mae Tecono. The others had certainly been hard at work, as the building was still loud as ever. As he reached the bottom of the stairs, the zabrak would be immediately met by a guard. Thankfully, before the man had a moment to act Sahren would let out a swift punch to the nose. This would be followed by him grabbing the thug's shirt, and then rocketing across the room with a burst from his jatpack.

Sahren would slam the guard's face into the wall, quickly rendering him unconcious. That was one left alive wasn't it? He might have a concussion afterward, but he wasn't dead.

Bringing back up his commlink he would continue speaking "I just got one alive. We need two more unconscious then we can kill the rest."

[Rafe]

Rafe winced from the shot he'd taken in the back, but half coughed a laugh when he saw @Mae Tecono removing his limbs with some sort of vibro finger tip things, That's handy... Rafe thought. A moment later @Sahren came over the comms, he had one in custody, I've got five down here, one's their head boy.. Rafe said back, they definitely had enough now, it was time to leave.

Rafe picked up the five men who were all strung together in a weird spider web of shackles, they would definitely be uncomfortable as he carried them, Rafe signaled for @Mae Tecono to cover him as he transported them, then called to @Sahren via the comms, Bring him and let's get out of here... Level this place as much as you can.. Rafe set for the door, he and Mae were on the ground level, so their escape would be easy, and he knew @Sahren wherever he was in the building could handle himself and his own escape from the burning and half exploded building.

Rafe was a massive frame covered in rippling muscles, but he would still need both hands to carry the ball of men he was toting, for this Rafe was completely relying on @Mae Tecono for his own defense. He had a cargo speeder truck a couple blocks off that he could use to get to his ride off world, but would need to get there first.

The smoke rising into the sky had attracted attention, even though they hadn't been there that long nearby onlookers had noticed the numerous explosions raging fire on the upper floors, now a giant Wolfen Sector Ranger was running out the door with a ball of humanoids..

 

[Mae Tecono]

Mae slipped her new Vibro-claws into her pocket which partially cut her pants and her leg, as they were so sharp. She ignored the pain and the burn she previously received on her thigh and began to run along side of Rafe as he carried the bundle of bodies. She got a little ahead of him somehow, she did not know as she could make 10 steps to his one, but then stopped to tell some bystanders "Official Sector Ranger business, please return to your homes". She sounded so official, part of her believed the words herself.

She then got back on pace along side Rafe and protected him and his precious cargo, until finally they reached the cargo speeder.

@Where

 

[Sahren]

While Rafe and Mae were walking out of the building, he was still busy trying to find an exit. The facility was a maze of sorts, unless you lived there that was. This left the zabrak only a single solution...

Just as Mae would state their job was Sector Ranger business, the group of citizens would look back to the building just as a huge explosion would ring out from the second story. Sahren would be seen leaping down from the second story of the building with an unconscious body in hand. The civilians jaws would drop at the destructive display, but Armory would just shrug... "Uh, yeah... What she said, Sector Rangers..."

He would then proceed to follow Rafe and Mae, eventually reaching the "cargo hold". "Another job well done...Heh." He would jest.

[Rafe]

They'd gotten away clean, which was probably because they'd left such a mess behind them, at least those who survived would have a story to tell about the Sector Rangers, should they wish to retaliate.. Rafe had thrown the ball of shackled humanoids into the back of the truck rather roughly before jumping in with them and taking the man @Sahren had subdued. They had enough for the information they needed...

@Sahren would mention how it was a job well done.. in truth they had made an absolute mess of that job, but everyone else would only hear about how successful it was..

It wouldn't take terribly long for them to return to Rafe's ship, and they wouldn't even hear sirens until after loading up when they started closing the ramp. Seems people are less likely to call the law enforcement when they see the chaos around the Sector Rangers.. these uniforms would definitely come in handy again..

The ball would stay a ball until they got back to the Lonely Cub for questioning.. until then.. Rafe lit a death stick..

[Mae Tecono]

Mae pulled the death stick from Rafe's hand before he had a chance to put it to his lips, forcing him to light a second one for himself. She smoked it in the back as they drove off. She did not normally smoke, but after that job, she definitely needed it.
